My recliner chair is 9 years old and through wear and tear, the mechanism got damaged. I called Ashley's parts department and spoke with Kelly Jones to order a replacement. I was blown away that she offered it to me free of charge, shipping included, It arrived a week later in perfect shape and is going in now. Service like this will make me look at Ashley's first for ant furniture I need.

The reason the salespeople so aggressively push you too get the protection plan, is that its almost how they make half of their pay check. Its not because they care.

I ordered the wrong chairs by accident and that was my fault. But returning them is nearly impossible. When I called the number, I swear it was answered by someone who was either drunk or just woke up and working from home. I spent msot of 26 minutes on hold only to be told they would be contacting me with information about returning my phone call within 48 hours. Five days later I got an email, with a clarification question which I answered within minutes. Three days later they said ship it back however you want and pay for it yourself. Don't buy from them... you WILL regret it.
Every time I check on date of delivery it changes. 10th date change today and have been waiting six months now. This company is ridiculous! Will never do business with them again and will tell everyone I know to avoid as well.
I was called twice and texted once this past Friday that my couch would be delivered the following day, Saturday. Saturday arrived and I had to call twice (got hung up on the first time) only to find out my couch *might be* on back order. I got a text today (Tuesday) that there's still no ETA on my couch, so I have an uncomfortable chair in my living room and unable to schedule a much needed dentist appointment and oil change on any upcoming Saturdays for fear of missing the opportunity to finally get my couch. Unprofessional. Unreliable. Also, this site is not letting me upload my proof of purchase...

My first call and email to Montage was almost 2 months ago and you guys have failed to contact me at all. Each week I call to find out the status of my claim only to be informed that the tech has received all the proper documentation but still waiting on a response from him. At this point I would like to receive a refund for 650.00 dollars which is the amount i was charged for this insurance coverage. I could have had the sofa repaired by now from anybody off the street. Ashley furniture should be ashamed of themselves for charging me over 4,000 for a living room set without a responsible 3rd party company to fix my sofa.
So please don't waste my time any more and refund my money as soon as possible, Thank you!
We purchased a bedroom set from Ashley 6 months ago. Every piece had a problem. They replaced each piece, However on the last replacement the third party delivery driver driver banged into an existing piece of furniture and now neither party will do anything about it! I never heard of such a thing. And to top it off another service person is coming next week to fix a nightstand that hasn't been operable since delivery 6 months ago! I'm almost afraid to let him in!
I made a big mistake. I paid $5000 for 2 couches and matching tables. I also purchased a Platinum extended warranty. After 8 months the couch seats caved in. The couch is almost 2 years old now. I have called Ashleys and the extended warranty department weekly to get this resolved. Its always the other guys problem. After 2 years I finally got a technician scheduled to come out. He never showed. After being on the phone for over an hour, I was told it was canceled because I didn't pay $65 upfront. No one ever said anything about a $65 charge. Now I have to start all over again. What a joke. They will take your money but will not stand behind their products.
Our experience at the store itself was wonderful, our salesman was courteous and very helpful. However, everything with the delivery was terrible. We waited all day on the delivery date, but it never came, the driver had a family emergency, took his truck back to the distribution center and left without informing anyone. When they did finally come, the order was incomplete. The guys were great as far as setting everything up, but I was told that they would take all packaging away, but they didn't, leaving two large boxes beside my house. The phone number listed for the Southaven MS store goes directly to the national service center, and it takes forever to get someone on the phone. The phone number for the Memphis TN distribution center doesn't work, so it has been a very frustrating experience.
The modified 1x2 strips cracked, and warped. Only two supports with small thin nails that were used with a Pneumatic nailer. Back supports, the same way, extremely poorly made with 3/4x3/4 strips of wood, that have cracked. Pay a little more money, and go somewhere else for higher quality made furniture. Total garbage!
Buyer beware! As we all look for the best price, and service many companys offer service but acting on this service is another story. STAY AWAY from Ashley Furniture in Bel Air Maryland. This Store and its management are full of false promises. To start, it took them three months to deliver my furniture with another false promise to refund 100 dollars of my shipping cost. 6 months later still no refund! Service what a joke. We have been trying to get service for my sofa for over a month each time we call, we are told the Service Department will call back to schedule NOPE. After complaints, we were told the Manager would call us back guess what NOTHING. I am about to go on an all-out marketing battle to keep people away from shopping at this store.
I ordered a chair waited almost a year. The quality is horrible it looks 10 years old and it was like 1200.00 the cushion is coming apart the foot rest stopped working and they won't do anything. I have been waiting on the cushion about 3 months. Ironically we could order the part for the foot rest and have it in three days but not Ashley you just keep waiting. Do not purchase anything from them. I have called 4 numbers and then given the same number again that will not help you.
Very poor customer service. I exchanged an order and Ashley charged me twice for warranty without cancelling the first warranty. This was over 500$ that needed to be paid from Ashley however they don't respond back and have done zero to get this money back. I don't understand how can they just not To send my money back!
I purchased a sleeper sofa. The sofa is comfortable and very pretty. The only reason I gave it a 1. The sleeper is crap. I am on my third sleeper frame in less than 2 years!
It's from China! Wish I knew that before I purchased. The quality is horrible and the customer service to get it repaired is worse. Promised it would be delivered and fixed within 2 weeks. I'm going on 6 weeks haven't heard a thing. Will not fold back into a couch so I have a broken bed in the middle of my living room.
Horrible experience. Paid over 6k on a bedroom set. It took months to receive the original ordered furniture and we refused the damaged pieces upon delivery. We expected to receive new replacement furniture. They tried to pull a fast one on us by bringing us back the same furniture we originally refused, as they tried repairing and returning the damaged furniture to us. Thankfully I noted and took pictures and was able to identify their trickery. After 9 months, we finally got two pieces replaced. At this point I don't care about the rest of the bedroom set they promised to replace. It is very poor quality furniture for that money. We're done and won't be back. I hope this will give someone reading these reviews food for thought before going in and buying anything from Ashley furniture in Holland Ohio.
I order furniture from Ashley Furniture online. The price was right and had good reviews. The furniture was delivered on time but came damaged. That's where the problem started. I contacted customer service serveral time to get a replacement. I was told I'd receive a call within 72 hours. It's been almost 2 months and I haven't heard anything from them. I've called over a dozen times and get no where. I tried calling corporate and they connect me back to customer service. I am so disappointed with the customer service and the way this company operates and will never order anything from them ever again.
I purchased furniture in March, 2021. Within 3 months the seating on both the sofa and matching recliner began to break down. I have been trying to get it repaired or replaced for 2 months now. No one will take responsibility for doing what needs to be done. This company has a process where consumers get caught in this endless loop and eventually will give up. Phone calls are not returned. Emails are not retuned. Appointments are not kept. It has been the most frustrating experience ever. From complaints from other consumers online, it is obvious this is a standard practice. Do not do business with this company.

Going on since January 2022. I am an my 3rd exchange and about 15 calls. Seems their reps, systems and delivery system do not talk to each other. Reps are not empowered to help, it is a call somewhere else. Small defect on exchange the furniture smells.
Called last week and asked for an accommodation to end the madness. Offered 15% but I declined.
Today and Decide to take it. Nothing in the system. The person offered me 30.00, what an insult. Still on the call after 20 minutes, her supervisor declined. Now, being told a supervisor did not approve. I will update this review- I would not recommend this company!
Priced sectional sofa. Sales guy ( Tom) stated that the price was good for 2 days. Went back within the 2 days and there was a significant price increase. Sales person stated that they made a mistake but would honor the price. Ordered sofa and paid. Next day got a call from Tom and said he did not quote the price. Cancelled order. I will never set foot in another Ashley store. After reading reviews it's apparent that I am not the only disgusted customer. The store was located in cedar Falls, Iowa
Answer: It's a business and a scam. Zero customer service. Once they've used your credit card, it takes hours on the phone to arrange return and credit.
