Melinda the sales associate at the Ocalla store was just amazing to be away. She gets very excited and happy about helping with that design of the room. I highly advise working with Melinda.
Ordered a recliner 11/7/21 for a Christmas gift for my husband. They called and said I had to be home for it to be delivered on the 14th, I took off and no one showed up. I have been calling every day dealing with people with NASTY ATTITUDES with the exception of two or three people and I cant get a clear answer about my chair. I always get someone will call you back or I sent an email and im waiting for a response and once we get it we will call you. One of the reps said my chair was broken and asked if I wanted the broken chair, umm maam I didn't pay almost 400 for a broken chair. I have never in my life experienced anything like this and it makes me madder by the day. I was offered 10 percent off and a 100 off coupon to use in the store BUT I will never purchase from them AGAIN. The customer service is horrible and I dont understand why it takes over a month to get your items, Ive had orders from China that take less time.
All Ashley Furniture is junk. I bought this a little over a year ago. Their customer services reps are a all idiots. They will lie to you and never let you speak with a manager. They charge you for items you did not receive. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE
I scheduled a delivery of my daughter's bedroom furniture for a Sunday, 3-7pm, and Ashley delivery service never showed up. My daughter now has no furniture in her room & upon calling customer service, they stated that their next available time would not be until sometime that following Wednesday. Therefore, my daughter must spend 3 nights with no furniture in her room, which is unacceptable. I placed the order online & have never been able to track it, with the website saying "Delivery tracking is unavailable for your area." No one called to let me know that they were going to be late or be unable to deliver at all. Upon calling customer service, they revealed that no notes were left in the system either, which lets me know that they gave me a service window with no intentions of ever delivering my items. This is infuriating & egregious. So now, I am put in a position of having to take off of work for this service, of which I now have no faith in. If the furniture was in the area, I should have been given a next day delivery time, of which, I was not. I wish that I would have never ordered furniture from this company.
I ordered an L-shaped couch in December 2021 and they still are yet to get my order right. Delivery was attempted after all this time only to have the arm damaged and back to square one. No attempts from customer service to do anything to remedy this. I've been to their store on 82nd Ave in Portland twice begging for help or a refund only to get the run around with still no resolution. When I asked to talk to the manager they said he's busy. Quite frankly avoiding doing anything to help a customer that has paid over $4K. Next month it will be a year! DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY ITS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!
Ashley Your customer care called me back only to tell me that I need to speak directly to the store as they have no capacity of resolving issues. I called the store again, and was told that the District manager Rohit is refusing to do anything. Spoke to a Dan at the Ashley North who was very unapologetic, confrontational and rude. He also said that he doesn't care what is posted on social media, and that customer reviews don't mean much. When I was paying cash for my purchase why didn't he tell me that customers don't mean anything? The lack of customer service is huge reflection of the junky overpriced products. What a circus. Such a run around. Please see pictures attached and advise how acceptable this is? I was initially sent no box springs, then I was sent over sized ones and then finally sent these that clearly are not a match. But yet Ashley refuses to accommodate a customer who has been inconvenienced. Seems like ethics are nonexistent here, within 48 hours, I connected with the store, advising I want this all returned, mattresses, bed frame, mattress pad and pillow, was told that I would hear back within the next few hours, those few hours turned into days, had I not called and called repeatedly I wouldn't have heard back from anyone. Why say that an issue will be rectified? When in fact it's being dismissed and ignored. I have better things to do than waste my time. I'm now seeing soooo many other customer reviews that are similar if not exactly the same as mine, it's appalling that this is ok. Perhaps a complaint to consumer services, it's a shame, buyers be aware.

I purchased stools online and they sent the wrong color and tried to force me to pay to return…after 10 emails 6 months later I still haven't recieved a response. Do yourself a favor shop elsewhere!
I sold my house my deceased husband built after living there for 65 years. This was a very emotional process.
On Sept. 6,2020 my daughter helped me shop for new furniture for my new apartment.
I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in Lancaster, PA for a sofa and 2 kitchen bar stools and paid in full $1346. 20 including delivery on my VISA card.
I was promised delivery by Nov. 6,2020 when I planned to move into my new apartment.
My daughter called on Nov. 6th, and was told delivery was delayed until Jan. 19th for the stools; Feb. 6,2021 for the sofa, and they would keep updated every two weeks via email on status.
No updates ever received and called numerous times to get updates.
Called on Jan. 13,2021 for update and told delivery date now March 20,2021.
Called the store today, Jan. 14,2021 and told I need to come into the store in person to cancel and process the refund. Given my age (88), health issues, and COVID situation I'm unwilling to do this.
So I submitted a request for refund though the Ashley Furniture Customer Facebook Group and informed my Credit card company to dispute this charge.
Recliner order mid Oct, delivery date in early Nov. Expecting delivery & no show. Called said they tried to deliver no one answered to confirm, which is not true. Resulted chair could not be used by elderly person, too dangerous. We called to return, ordered another one more safe for elderly. We were told it would take up to late December to get the chair delivered, it was coming from OVERSEAS! This was done all online! Chair "might" be delivered late Nov if not maybe mid December. We needed to cancel purchase but it too late my niece had already made the transaction. We should of gone to Jerome's or Living Spaces. DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHELY FURNITURE! OVER 30 DAYS TO RECEIVE YOUR PURCHASE
I was misled by the salesperson about the terms of the purchase & then the financing services charged me $300+ interest erroneously & without my knowledge. I will never shop at Ashley again.
Avoid it at all costs! Although I wish I had known this sooner, at least I can advise you not to even think about them.
I made a purchase back in July, and the latest delivery date given was September 21st (probably sooner, they said). On Sep. 20th, no one had called me yet to confirm the delivery. I called them and was told the delivery has been moved to the end of October or the beginning of November...
Calling them to inquire is the only way to find out. They couldn't care less about the customer, not even to let us know in advance with a quick call or email.
The options were to cancel the order or find something else. By canceling the order, you'd be stuck with no sofa until this date for no reason. Getting something else means trusting them to get the "other option" delivered on the date it was promised.
But that's not the end. They've made another promise. The manager would call me the next day to see if there was anything they could do. It's been 2 weeks already...
They don't deserve your time and money (btw, all payments have been made on time since the purchase).

We bought a twin bed it came with a twin headboard and a full-size footboard I have to wait couple days find the delivery guy showing off with a tween boxspring I told him variety was a tween footboard they left I went to the store I talk to them tell them to come and get the whole thing is being like two weeks message back-and-forth finally they called me they was going to send somebody to fix the sofa when is the twin bed these people they don't know what the heck they doing I don't know how they're in business if you don't want to hit it don't buy from them
I am so happy I had the help of Forrest Blake during my last purchase. I don't think I could be as excited about my furniture without his help. I'll definitely be back for more items.
I ordered a sectional online through the Ashley website. I didn't know it was different than going into a store in terms of dealing with problems and issues. I paid extra 250 for delivery AND Assembly. And of course, the furniture doesn't fit into the house. Which I knew it would need to be disassembled, and then re assembled- it's a large sectional! Which was why I paid extra for it. I had to send it back bc it got damaged trying to put the couch in the house. Calling customer service was a nightmare. They kept asking if I wanted to know the status of my delivery- obv I know the status. Then they asked if I wanted a refund, I told them no I want the couch. They refunded the cost of the couch but not the extra 250. I called the store and they were able to fill me in- basically don't buy online! They don't do assembly even though it says they do and now I'm being charged for the delivery even though it's damaged and I can't take it. Absolute nightmare dealing with this place! If customer service could address it that would be fine but, nope. That's not a thing at Ashley.
Aunt and Uncle bought bar stools from Ashley in Springfield Mo. They gave salesman the size, height of stools that they needed. Salesman gave them the wrong size. We went to the store with Aunt to get exchange. They tell us call Customer service. So we did, they tell us that they have to send approval to Store manager, said it will take 24 to 48 hours.
Customer service has number you can text. So I tell them when it has been approved to contact me. They later said they can't approve the exchange. First excuse was they got the right stools, I sent pictures of the size that they gave the salesman.
Second excuse was he signed for it. I showed them pics of no signature.
The next day they give me the excuse that if it was the correct order they can't exchange. I again show them pics of size that they gave to salesman. Then they say we can send a request to store manager,then I tell them one was supposed to have been sent.
Then it was oh yes I see it was sent yesterday. It will be 24 to 48 hours.
What good store manager doesn't read their emails everyday. We are going to go talk to store manager in person. No faith in what they call customer service
Delivery dates are completely abitrary. Customer service is TERRIBLE! Still have not received my order. Will never order from Ashley Furniture again.
I placed an order for a bedroom set and chose a delivery date. The confirmation email stated that my delivery was successfully scheduled. However, I did not receive any shipping or tracking information regarding my delivery and it did not arrive on the scheduled date. I contacted customer service, was repeated transferred to different people and departments. After speaking with the 5th rep, who tried to transfer me back to the 3rd person I had spoken to, I was informed that my items are on back order and won't be estimated to arrive in the warehouse until a week after my original scheduled delivery date. That means that when I placed my order, the items were never even in stock and I received no information to that effect.
To sum up, we will not be ordering from Ashley Furniture again. There is no guarantee that what you purchase is even in stock or that it will arrive on your selected delivery date. Customer service is unable to provide accurate information regarding your delivery. You will not be informed of any delays or back orders in shipping, so your only option is to wait and wait and wait… Who knows when I will actually get my furniture that my husband and I took off work to receive and assemble? Keeping my fingers crossed that my furniture will show up before the lease on my new apartment is over. WORST!
My husband and I recently purchased furniture from Ashley home store online. We've gone thru two sets of nightstands damaged in transit.
We as well have had furniture delivered via Ashley delivery team, that once I was able to examine is either damages as well, defective or terrible quality like unfinished wood portions, huge gaps that someone tried to touch up with a woof pen thinking we wouldn't see and or to fill with some sort of brown wax, thinking we're stupid and wouldn't notice the huge gap.
I spent almost 4 hours after delivery on Monday calling customer service and speaking to a half dozen or more individuals.
The last person Jay Lathe whom I spoke with was suppose to put in for a new bed to be sent to me as well as a return for the dresser, I was told I was "top priority" for him and he would personally call me back within 24 hours. It is now 72 hours later and I've had no call and no response back to my email touching base with regards to this situation.
I will now being to to the department of agriculture for consumers affairs as well due to this gross negligence in customer service and product quality.

Dispatch called 2x i ordered jenna place sectional. Then a automated one said 10 minutes. My window was 3 to 7. They came into complex abput 815 i saw them driving arpund i heard them stopping heard brakes no pne called me as i waited then a man called that drivers cant find me. I said dorhet it its dark now. Just got a call (9.16AM) from Ashley distribution that they were getting ready to load my order. Was told yesterday that the delivery would definitely be today between 8 and 9 AM. Additionally, the person that called asked me to VERIFY WHAT I ORDERED.
This is by far the WORSE store that I have ever has the total displeasure of dealing with and the VERY last time I will ever enter this disaster of a store.
Answer: It's a business and a scam. Zero customer service. Once they've used your credit card, it takes hours on the phone to arrange return and credit.
