My husband purchased a pair of diamond earrings for me in the UTC Sarasota store for Christmas. Although very beautiful, they were misrepresented with regards to the carat weight. Yeva, who sold the earrings to my husband claimed they were two carats. However, when we had them appraised, they only appraise for maybe 1.8 carat total weight, our appraiser said. I am a jeweler by trade, this is what I went to college and did for a living for a very long time and I am a designer currently. I know that sometimes diamond weights can vary, when I was in the trade we made sure to communicate this with clients, because we operated with morals and integrity. However, not only was this not disclosed to my husband by the Yeva, but on the website for Saks 5th Ave, it also says that the earrings are two carats, and nowhere within any description is there any kind of disclaimer stating that there may be a slight differentiation in diamond weight. I contacted Saks fifth Avenue corporate, they had no care whatsoever to get back with me, nor respond to my BBB complaint. When I went into the store, I spoke with a gentleman name Vinny, who stated 'he had never experienced this before ever'. He then went on to say 'well he got a them on sale?' as if that constitutes the fact that they were falsely advertised by the sales person and online. As If since my husband got them on a holiday sale that it was justified. The earrings are off my almost a quarter of a carat, not just a few points. My husband and I have been looking at an almost $30,000 diamond tennis bracelet in there that we were wanting to purchase for me that had a matching ring. We will now NOT be doing business with them because of the fact that they're not honest in their sales. Who knows how many other people this is happening to and for even larger pieces than our first and only purchase with them which has left us to not want to shop there again.

Tip for consumers:
Company is falsely advertising goods to consumers. If you’re advertising 2ct diamond hoops they should be 2ct. Not almost a quarter carat less than advertised.

My husband and I recently purchased furniture from Ashley home store online. We've gone thru two sets of nightstands damaged in transit.

We as well have had furniture delivered via Ashley delivery team, that once I was able to examine is either damages as well, defective or terrible quality like unfinished wood portions, huge gaps that someone tried to touch up with a woof pen thinking we wouldn't see and or to fill with some sort of brown wax, thinking we're stupid and wouldn't notice the huge gap.

I spent almost 4 hours after delivery on Monday calling customer service and speaking to a half dozen or more individuals.

The last person Jay Lathe whom I spoke with was suppose to put in for a new bed to be sent to me as well as a return for the dresser, I was told I was "top priority" for him and he would personally call me back within 24 hours. It is now 72 hours later and I've had no call and no response back to my email touching base with regards to this situation.

I will now being to to the department of agriculture for consumers affairs as well due to this gross negligence in customer service and product quality.

I as the consumers am being taken advantage of. We have spent over 4K dollars, as well as we bought a dining table from them almost 6 months ago for around 1800$. We have spent a lot of money with this company.

Tip for consumers:
If you choose to purchase look over everything before delivery people leave and if you’re not happy you can refuse the order. But honestly Don’t waste your time, save yourself the hassle and do business elsewhere

My husband and I started buying stuff from VENUS in the past year we thought that they had a great return policy as I'm a very petite person it's sometimes difficult to get stuff to fit me. Their claim is that they have perfect fit every time type of sizing. But I am constantly sending stuff back because it never fits. Whether they're getting stuff from different manufacturers or what they are doing I'm not really sure. But the sizes are not consistent. I recently placed an order where I received some Venus dollars towards a future purchase. So utilize those Venus dollars towards my next purchase I had $50 in these Venus box that they do and of course I get my next order and stuff doesn't fit. And they don't offer sizes smaller than these items so I would have to return them for something else. The girl told me that they won't honor the VENUS dollars that I had put towards that purchase towards a different purchase for new items. So basically I just lost $50 in reward dollars. I asked to speak with a manager and her manager was just so conveniently too busy to talk. So I told them I will send everything back and I won't spend any more money with them. My husband and I have probably both separately spent $1000 since Christmas time and stuff for myself. If they're going to offer these reward dollars and people need to return stuff because their items aren't fitting properly then they should honor those reward dollars towards whatever the person is switching them out for. That's just a total scam and ridiculous. I'm done buying with them I am so angry and frustrated. As a customer service representative could have cared less. She was just kind of like oh I'm sorry there's nothing we can do for you I know it stinks. That's not proper customer service that's ridiculous. Not to mention I'm finding a lot of products aren't made as nice as they look in the image as you get them and they're like a cheaper looking T-shirt almost material. And for the price it's just ridiculous.

Tip for consumers:
If you earn Venus rewards and you decide to change something for a different item because you don’t like the item that you purchased, be aware that they will not honor those Venus dollars back to you to use towards your new order so you basically lose them

VENUS S. – VENUS Swimwear Rep

Hi Angel! We sincerely apologize for this experience and we do understand your concerns with our sizing. We are unable to guarantee a perfect fit for each item but we do the best we can to accommodate for all misses and plus sizes. For some items, you may find in the product description where we suggest to size up or size down due to size variations compared to the rest of our items. Please send us an e-mail at socialsupport@venus.com. We would love to assist you.

The whole process is a joke, they put repeats in a box and say it's not a repeat if it's been over a year. Then in the next breath claim it's an experience box and that why they put black and blue lipstick in a box... if you place a charm order, you never get it. They just give you charms back and say sorry. I've had 9 charm orders since November that I've never received and it's the same thing over and over again. My box for April had an item missing, a repeat item as well as items that didn't fit in my skin profile that they're insistent on you taking. Claiming it helps to curate the boxes better for you. I have yet to experience that this far...

Don’t get your hopes up.

There is no accurate sizing, they claim their size chart is just a "guide" yet whenever I go by the size chart everything that I receive is way too small. When you contact them for help it's either you can never get through to them, or they never respond via email, or messenger or they block you on social media. I have an order with defective items and I cannot even get a CS rep to get back with me and it's been a week. I've called several times, sit on hold for 45* minutes only to be disconnected... who has that kind of time to deal with that crap. I've emailed twice, with only computer generated responses and not an actual person gets back with me. My order had an item that one of the leg lengths on the rompers was way shorter than the other and a too I order, per the size chart, is sooooo small I can't even get it on me with 1/2 the back unlaced... horrible company, no quality control and no customer service at all.

Tip for consumers:
Order a size up for everything and don’t expect any service at all if there is an issue.
