I live in a condo in downtown Vancouver. We have high crime and property theft. Once again the Amazon Prime deliver service left the parcel right outside, on the street! They didn't even buzz to get in the building, they didn't even try and leave in the lobby, which they still shouldn't do, and didn't even bother buzz or call and bring it to my condo door. They left on the street. What is wrong with these deliver drivers. You now can't even call customer service anymore, you have to deal with a bot. I fail to see how on line ordering is better than brick and mortar? Amazon is turning into a terrible company.

I had to receive the order on Sunday. However that was hard job for the driver to just call my cell and say I am at the lobby, instead he said I couldn't reach the customer and that driver was really frustrated us, I contacted Amazon, they said I have to call and deal with the Purolator, "an other frustrating issue". I am still waiting and I don't know where my order gone, I used to buy online for years from Amazon, this is the first time to have difficulty receiving the order.

I am not happy with Amazon as they are not refunding me or delaying refund for an item which intelcom staff lost and failed to scan for refund. Sometimes one can have problems with Intecom as they do not come to deliver or pick items.

Being disabled, I went to drop by my mother's apartment and had to park on the street due to an AMAZON delivery truck parked in the only disabled spot. There happened to be plenty of street parking 45 feet away so I have no idea why this driver felt he had entitlement to do this to the disabled. Shame on him and shame on AMAZON.

Big Corp. Doesn't Care.
November 2, 2018

Pre ordered game. Received two emails 10minutes apart. #1 ran out of your product will ship when available. #2 your order cancelled becauae your credit card declined. Crdit cars worked the week before and the week after. They will not answer questions on this. Prime is a joke.

Amazon routinely delays shipment of preorders, especially if you preordered early enough to benefit from the fluctuating sale prices on their website.
Expect to wait as much as a week beyond the release date of an item as punishment for preordering early.

One customer rep told me that the shipments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, but this is clearly BS as you'll be able to order the item the day before it releases and ensure delivery the very next morning. You just have to cough up the full retail price and forego any discount you may have received for preordering early.

And for the record, your prime membership means nothing to them. It's advertised as a way to get fast shipping, but you can expect to be the last on amazon's priority list. You're the sucker they've already managed to reel in to spending 100 bucks on a worthless membership. They don't need to do anything more to impress you.

If you do your homework before ordering you can get great product for less than retail. Sometimes 3rd parties charge more than retail. This is not a fault of Amazon. Simple advice. Do homework before ordering your products to find best value for your hard earned dollar

Amazon.ca prime has been robbing me and has awful customer service. They have been double billing me for my prime membership for over 2 years. They will not refund me the membership costs. Even though I canceled my credit card in hope a new Amex card would stop the double billing I found They are still double billing me. I had to cancel my prime membership today as I can't stop the double charges on my credit card. They didn't offer me even some free months of prime for all the money they have double billed me. I am truly disgusted with this company

Ordered item for xmas. Tracking showed item delivered to Purolator depot 1 hour drive from my house. Amazon rep apologized for it, even though this is the 2nd time this has happened and they told me they'd correct it. Drove an hour to pick it up ony to find out it was at a different location an hour and a half away this time. I drive an hour home. Amazon apologized again for innacurate information. Cancelled item.
I've been an Amazon customer for a long time. I've had no complaints until the last couple of years.

I bought a scope for a new rifle that had not come in yet. 4 weeks passed and finally my rifle showed up. Mounted the scope and find the scope defective, will not hold zero. Get in touch with seller, northern shipments a seller thru Amazon and they say toobad it's over 30 day return period. Explain to them the situation and still too bad for you. Get in touch with Amazon and their guarantee department and they say TOO BAD you have to keep the defective scope. I have been a good customer with Amazon and that's the way they treat you. Never buy from them again and will report this deal to every reveiw site I can find. Buyer beware of Amazon and northern shipments.

ZERO STARS
July 28, 2019

The customer support for Amazon.ca is so poor I barely have words to describe. The order was late and we are out of town to receive. I called and cancelled the order with an agent 4 hours after placing. The ship time quoted was off by a full day on Prime and I also took all the steps to change delivery online. Their 3rd party delivery has showed up twice a day for 3 days! I have talked with 9 Amazon agents and the parcel is still trying to be delivered.! NO MANAGER has tried to call back and they say they do not have the ability TO ESCALATE. STAY AWAY.

Bad deliveries
November 20, 2020

Bad deliveries. I have had too many "attempted deliveries", when in fact the Amazon delivery driver has made no attempt at all. When you are actually sitting waiting for the package to be delivered, it's pretty obvious that no "attempt" was made. The last one was when it was raining, and an email comes through that a delivery attempt was made, when in fact it hadn't been. I have cancelled a few orders due to the lack of delivery and having an email of delivery attempt

Amazon has very poor customer service. Someone fraud us using amazon name. Someone hacked amazon website and using it. We lost $1900 dollars. We report this issue to amazon few times and not even single action has been taken from them.
Everytime we call different cutomer service rep picks up the phone and we explain the situation each person from the begining. Its been few business days gone since the issue happened. Not even a single action has been taken by amazon. My intention is not only my money used by hackers by hacking amazon website but also l would like to save another innocent customer from loosing money. Please dont order anything from amazon. There is a chance this may happen to you too and amazon wont do anything about it.

Delivery is a joke
August 23, 2018

I purchased an item with express delivery. The price for express delivery was more then the item - $64. It was extremely important to get it in a couple of days. Unfortunately, the seller was in the US (very difficult to tell where the seller is located before purchase) and the item would not get here for 7 days. To top it off the USPS sent it to the UK.

This is the 2nd time I have experienced delivery problems. The last time, after 3 weeks of not getting the item, I gave up and asked for a refund. Which took another 2 weeks.

I can buy items from online stores with locations in the Canada and get it in 3 days. I bought a carpet from Pottery Barn in California and got it in 5 days. I dont know what Amazon does to make shipping so slow, but I will never ever buy from it again.

Guess when you use a gift card and your order is more than the gift card they will charge you twice and charge your credit card for the amount of the gift card. Call them and their chat is usless as no one can get their story straight. They keep saying no they never charged my credit card. When I have it right on my statement it wa a charged twice.

I ordered an item from Amazon that was supposed to arrive on Feb. 3,2024. The item didn't arrive and I got an email saying it might not arrive until Feb. 9,2024. On Feb. 5,2024 the delivery person didn't knock on the door they simply slipped a pick up slip through the mail slot. (We were sitting at the table and heard the mail slot so retrieved the slip. By the time we read the slip the delivery person had disappeared.) I went to pick up the item and they told me it wasn't there.

I could've gone downtown and bought this item. I chose Amazon to have the product delivered and save having to go out and shop. (convenience) They destroyed convenience and made going out shopping a must!

I told the person who said my product wasn't there after I had made the trip to pick it up that when they got it in to send it back to Amazon. I started a refund through Amazon. They said it would take a month to process my refund and another week for my bank to action the refund. I have taken my cc off of Amazon and cancelled my subscription to Prime!

My advice to people ordering from Amazon is don't do it! Its a nightmare!

I took two days to work from home to ensure I would be here for my package delivery. Intelcom send a "attempted delivery failure" message the first day at 12:11pm. At the same time, my phone rang once from a mobile number then they hung up. I called back 3x to no avail. I stayed home again today and just received another delivery failure notice. There have been no attempts at delivering here. I contacted Intelcom and they were useless. Then I contacted Amazon, who offered me a ten dollar gift certificate. Ten dollars. Seriously?

I used amazon.ca this year to order some Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers as time was an issue for me this year to get shopping done. My order was broken up into 4 separate shipping packages. The first pkg I received was missing one of my items. The second package I received arrived broken. Third pkg one item was missing and one item was broken. Forth pkg didn't arrive at all. I now have to spend time making phone calls and printing return labels and going to Canada Post to return and file for refunds. It would have been easier to just go shopping myself. Live and learn hopefully my experience helps others.
