I waisted my lot of time to uploading very unique images and when these started earning adobe stock blocked my account I made another account and the same issue was there also they just deactivated my account again when my images were making money😡😠
Verification of new artwork should last a month based on the information written in the notifications. However, checks take more than 2 months, which discourages any desire to post work. No wonder these drains are going downhill.
Where to begin? First off, it's a borderline scam how it offers a free trial and hiding the fact that the subscription starts and you are locked in an entire year. I have never seen any company of this kind pull something like this. Next, I paid for a year and at the end you have to time it to the precise day to end it and if you quit early they charge you extra and if you don't end the subscription the second it ends they rope you into another year. Absolutely awful business tactic! And to put the icing on the cake. The credit after 1 year end immediately if you don't use them. Overall, worst website and customer appreciation I have ever been a part of. Do not use this site!
I was initially offered a free 30 day trial to see if I liked the product and services. Before my 30 day trial was going to end by I opted to cancel because my business is not going to need this service. I was then notified that because I did not cancel within the first 14 days of my 30 day, free trial, I now have to pay $250 cancellation fee. This is clearly and blatantly a scam and I would not recommend anyone to inquire on their services.
It is impossible to cancel a subscription with adobe. There is no free trial, it's an elaborate scam. You can't come out of their subscriptions without paying a cancellation fee. I tried to cancel during my free trial and did so using their UI which changed status to cancellation in progress. I had no reason to believe the cancellation would fail. So, I closed adobe tab and a few months later I noticed I was getting billed from adobe on a monthly basis. I reached out to support to cancel my plan. It took 1 hour worth of begging for them to cancel my plan. For whatever reason, adobe has a dubious monthly plan which isn't a monthly plan at all, it is annual. Customer service was trained to sell you more products and are never going to let you go without paying. These practices are unethical and adobe should let users cancel their subscription and support not selling products for 1 hour straight when I try to cancel a service.
To sum up my experience:
- The search engine is giving you generic images, and it is really hard to find good ones. They made it almost impossible to browse good images and save good curators.
- Customer support is one of the badest I have experienced so far.
- They make changes to the platform and subscription plans, and if this affects you, you are doomed.
I can't recommend this service; just poor quality and bad support.
In typical Adobe fashion being a vampire of the creative industries, they charge a mad 150 quid cancel a fee. A creative dry company that hasn't produce a functional new software in the better part of two decades and shifted to a software as a service and there tactics to keep customer reflect there desperation to retain customer. Now with their purchase of figma it looks like Adobe won't have another graphic design competitor again for another decade which is a shame. Anyway don't buy it but your probably in the same situation as me and trying to avoid this cancellation fee.
Signed up for a trial and cancelled it before the trial period ended. I was charged anyway for the next three months. When I contacted customer service they tried to say I should've got a cancellation email (no, you get a cancellation email for cancelling the actual annual subscription and not for cancelling the trial). They tried to offer me a discounted monthly fee which I refused. Then they told me I would have to pay the early cancellation fee of $160 which I also refused. FINALLY, they agreed to refund me the three months I paid without the cancellation fee. If this happened to you, do not take no for an answer. It's a scam.
I signed up for Adobe Stock Images, thinking I would use the credits. I found that I did not use it much and tried to cancel. They offered me a plan at a lower price. I first thought, why couldn't the plan be at the lower price right from the beginning? I say, "No, thank you." Then it got ugly. I am told that I have to pay for the entire year to get out of the contract, AND by canceling, I will also lose all my existing credits. WHAT THE ACTUAL EFF? I paid for those credits! I honestly do not recall agreeing to this term... I am vigilant about contract terms, but I must have missed the small print on this. So I am (begrudgingly) fine paying for the year to terminate BUT to take away my credits that I have paid for? That seems shady to me.
I downloaded Adobe stock, planned to use it and then cancel my membership. When I went into cancel the same day and then a week later it kept telling me to come back once my order processed. When I went back in to cancel it charges me half the price of the full membership! Are you kidding me!?! I used one photo. I paid it and they have lost a customer. In fact I will tell every site I can find and every review I can do to NEVER use their service. Absolutely ridiculous and should be brought up on charges as a scam.
Signed up for a trial period, forgot to cancel within the 14 days. Automatically got signed up to an annual contract as per T&Cs (which I admittedly didn't read).
Cancellation fee was nearly $200!
Spoke to the chat agent who tried to convince me to change from the $39 monthly plan to the cheaper $14 plan. Agent was evasive and keeps saying, "Trust me, I'm helping you out!" and refusing to give up the cancellation fee.
HOW TO GET OUT OF THE CANCELLATION FEE:
Copy and paste this magic phrase, "I want to speak to a supervisor".
They will fold immediately. Thanks to the other reviewer who suggested this.
TIP
Make sure they cancel your contract at the end date, not immediately. Otherwise, you will lose access to your entitlements straight away.
So I saw an unauthorized charge on my credit card. I called their customer support line which is overseas. They admitted the email used on the account is not the normal email for my account then asked me to list every single email address I have or have had and he will tell me when it matches the email for the charge. I informed them I'm not going to give them all of my personal email addresses. They said ok we will mark this charge and account as fraudulent. But we can't refund the money. I asked him then why mark it as fraud if you aren't going to return the money. He said they can't give money back to any charges even if they are fradulent.
So I will despute it with my credit card company and just cut ties with adobe on as many fronts as I can.
Got suckered into a 12 months subscription after missing the free trial cut off date. Accumulated 120 assets and due to lack of variety on the platform, only used 25 credits- upon cancelling my service I found out that I would loose the assets ive paid for and there is not a dam thing that I can do about it accept to continue the subscription. Online and phone customer care was absolutely shocking and no one wanted to help- only upsell me on a service I am clearly not using. Disgraceful and disappointing. Save your money people- so many better options for stock images!
Absolutely shoddy service from Adobe stock, I ticked the free trial, I wish I hadn't. I have been charged twice for a service i never used and now a penalty of £119 for cancelling the policy. Please avoid Adobe Stock! It is like pulling teeth to get any support, I typed to a virtual assistant that explained that I would receive a refund and my account was cancelled... obviously that was not the case.

I fell for this as others have. I watched as I missed the free plan cancel by ONE DAY AND THEN FACED WITH A HUGE CANCELLATION FEE. The help desk will do nothing to help you out of this. BAD EXPERIENCE BAD BAD BAD EXPERIENCE. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME
THE SUBSCRIPTION IS YEARLY SO YOU ARE TRAPPED BUT THAT'S NOT ALL.
1 months before the subscription renews I logged in and noticed all my accumulated assets are gone and it is written I don't have any subscription. So I could not cancel it as there was nothing to cancel. A month later I see that the I am being charged again! I check the account and it says no active subscription! After a long call I managed to cancel another year of being ripped off by adobe! They tried everything to convince me staying. You try to get clear answer but they give you vague statements like how much it cost every asset and that it is better to keep or you loose a lot of money or I can not comment on how it will be next time you call.
I'm stunned by how bad an offer they have compared to others
For 30$ or 45$ monthly - YOU STILL GET limited downloads, no music library, and no aftereffects tamplets
And quality of content?... yes it is high quality. But at this price - its not higher quality then envato. Elements
I'm glad there are other options on market
Adobe Stock = Adobe Suck
Answer: Dreamstime.com I get premium images or try their free section every once in a while. There are other free sites, but the content here is more unique. Also Stockfreeimages.com is a sister site I use frequently, tons of free stuff sometimes not easy to find though.
Answer: If you did the free trial and did not cancel it then that is why you are being charged. If you don't cancel prior to the end of the trial they automatically lock you into a yearly commitment. I would call or chat with them and tell them that if they don't cancel it for you and waive the $60 early cancellation fee then you will post negative reviews about your experience. That is what I did and they waived the fee for me. They were going to make me pay it until I told them that I am basing my review on this interaction.
Answer: I hear ya. After about 40 minutes of battling it out with the chat agent I was able to get the cancellation fee waived. I had to threaten them with a bad review before they would do it though. If you haven't cancelled yet try the bad review method
