First off, I got automatically locked into adobe full year's subscription service (360$!) when I didn't even sign up with adobe, but the site I was with was purchased by them - AND I WASN'T EVEN NOTIFIED until one day I went to try to download an image from the old site. Secondly, customer service was repeatedly BAD. They were kind, but did not understand my issue and made mistakes which literally cost me MORE money and then were unwilling to refund me the full amount. Exceedingly disappointing. I am going to do my best to stay totally away from Adobe in the future.

Such a joke. They will make you repeat yourself multiple times and still won't resolve your issue. The content is good but make sure you don't have any problems and have to contact them.

Run, do not walk away from these scammers. This is a completely unethical company that lures you in with a so-called free trial with no intention of ever letting you out. I have to pay $144 to not use a service that was completely useless to me.

Rather than providing a service that is worth paying for, Adobe has created a unique scheme:
- offer 30 day trial that requires credit card
- when you cancel, add a HUGE ad to get another 60 days free
- automatically extend after the 60 days expires FOR A YEAR.
- cancellation fee if the service is cancelled early.

I've never had an issue with free trials before this. It is clearly designed to trick people. AWFUL business ethics.

Good luck getting out
January 23, 2018

I signed up for a free trial of Adobe stock a year and a half ago. My children got really sick and I missed my window to cancel (my bad). I was told that the best they could do for me is to cancel the year subscription and only make me pay 1/2 the yearly rate ($210!). I decided to keep the subscription so at least I could use the images... fast forward 1 year, I cancel the subscription. I notice a couple of months later that I am still being charged and get a hold of Adobe. They say they will cancel my subscription but cannot refund me for the extra months (after I had canceled the first time) and then hung up on me. I am a very patient person and had not been rude or upset (as much as it may have been warranted). Fast forward another 2 months and I am still being charged (after canceling twice). I spend another hour and a half on their chat, have another employee just leave the chat without reason or warning. I am first told that the best they could do is give me a discount on the second year because they had automatically re-enrolled me and you can't cancel a subscription part way through the year! After way too much time and irritation, I was finally able to get someone to actually cancel my subscription and refund me the months after I had first canceled...
Now, I went to use one of the 120 images I still had not used from my year's subscription AND THEY ARE GONE! Apparently you loose any images you still have if you cancel your subscription! I can't be more disappointed in the waste of over $400 in images I wasn't actually able to use, the waste in time to get anyone that could actually help me, and the waste of energy... I will not be using Stock again and strongly suggest you use caution if you sign up for it! I will be posting this warning anywhere that may help.

ROBBERY
October 30, 2017

My services cancelled, without my knowledge and the images I paid for where taken away from me. ADOBE is a crooked company. Steeling from your customers for services they paid for is BAD BUSINESS! Will buy photos elsewhere.

I'm a business owner myself and value honesty and transparency. I originally had an account with dollar photo club. Adobe stock photo bought them out so my account rolled over into Adobe. It was explained to us we would be going from $9.99 to $29.99 and we could cancel anytime. Okay fine... but what wasn't explained was you go into a 1-year contract and if you want to cancel you have to pay a hefty cancellation fee. I just tried to cancel as I am no longer using the service, (frankly you can get better stock photos on royalty free sites) and was told I would have to pay $101.00 to cancel my account. So disappointed with Adobe. Extremely poor business ethics. Not worth the money or the trouble.

Avoid this Service
September 30, 2017

You pay for downloads and if you cancel your subscription you lose your downloads. It's their policy to not deliver on what you paid for. Don't waste your time with this service.

I did notice the quality of stock photos greatly decreased over time. So if you want to pay $29 to spend hours sifting through Adobe's scraps be my guest. There's better out there. I'm sure once a photo is identified as popular they have some code or logic that will bump it up to the next level. Spend your money and time somewhere else.

Adobe Stock is not the cheapest one but finding some good quality photos using they slow buggy search engine needs patience. Its is not user friendly and terribly slow.
The problem become when something goes wrong. Adobe is not really happy with solving your problems.

BEWARE: Deceptive Contract
September 28, 2017

I wouldn't ever use Adobe Stock on account of the deceptive practices they use to try to grab your cash.

1) You're signing up for a one-year contract. Not a big deal, right? You can cancel anytime, right? WRONG.

2) They charge you an early cancellation fee. This is something that makes sense for cellphone companies that are subsidizing many of your costs. This makes NO sense for a stock photo service.

3) You pay for 10 stock photos each month. Unused downloads do NOT rollover.

4) If you want to cancel, cancellation is IMMEDIATE and you lose access to all downloads IMMEDIATELY. There is NO option to cancel the autorenewal.

Basically, you have to wait until the end of the month to manually cancel your subscription. But you didn't even know that you were locked into a contract with early cancellation fees!

Do NOT use Adobe Stock. I only thought to give it a try because I used to be in Dollar Photo Club. The images are high-quality and they have a decent search engine with advanced features, but I'm not going to give my business to a company that sets up their billing in such a deceptive way. Check out any number of other stock photo companies instead.

Awful
September 10, 2017

Didn't even realize I was in this contract. Then when I tried to cancel it charged me for the remaining year. What a BS company. Stay away. Do not use them. They will rip you off!

Beware of Auto-renew feature on testing. Even if you only use 3-4 images, you are billed for 10 per month and default settings are autobill and autorenew. And, how to get and use the images is not easy either. Then good luck finding how to cancel when you realize what happens. I finally only got lucky that my credit card expired so the billings don't go through after not being able to find how to cancel.

Hysterically however I got an auto-renew notice that my subscription was renewing again as of "yesterday". I truly did not expect such deceptive practices from such a large well-known company. BEWARE

A scam
August 21, 2017

If you have a subscription for a year and accrue images during that time (10/month) then you lose whatever is leftover once you cancel the subscription (when the year is officially over). I should get to keep any remaining image credits considering I paid for them. Customer service is unhelpful and their responses aren't insightful. They just try to get you to renew.

RIP OFF
May 10, 2017

Rip Off - I switched over from Dollar Photo Club and was never told about an increase until it showed up on my credit card. I did get the charges reversed and cancelled my subscription. But I also had almost 70 image credits I had not used. Gone. I will never use anything again with the name of Adobe.

What a scam!
April 28, 2017

SOOOOOO disappointed in Adobe! I really thought they were better than this. I ended up with them because they bought Dollar Photo Club. After my one year of paying 9.99 a month, they upped the price to 29.99 per month with absolutely no notice or warning. They told me I couldn't cancel and that I was obligated to a year with them, LOL! I said, no way. I pointed them to their 30 day to cancel policy and finally they let me out of it. NOW, I had 25 credits with them and they are GONE! They just erased my credits! Do you think they gave me a refund? HELL NO! And they never even told me my credits would erase after 30 days. I hate this company! Don't do it, they will screw you over!

They are Liars!
April 21, 2017

Adobe bought out Dollar Photo (ten photos a month for $9.99) over a year ago. I was a member of Dollar Photo and was given the option to switch to Adobe and maintain the same cost (they gave you a window of time to do this and I did) After a year (this month) they upped my price to $29.99. Not happening... Got an Indian on the line who basically mocked me and told me I was wrong... his words... I also had called two months ago to find out what would happen to the 105 photos that I had accumulated, if I was to cancel my subscription. I was told that I would have 30 days in which to use them. Ok fine... no worries. Upon the phone call to Adobe with regard to the increase - I asked the same question about the 30 days... the wonderful Indian guy told me I would lose everything! I would NOT use the company on any level for anything I did not have too! I am also FED UP with being farmed out to another country where they not only do not understand us and us them... they culturally do not have the same thought processes. All the way around - how frustrating and disappointing!

Watch out for the so called special offer for 10 free photos and a $29/month fee. Like other reviewer stated, it's a hook to suck you in. Read the fine print buried in their terms. If you don't cancel in the first 30 days you're stuck for a full year of $29 charges equaling a few hundred $$$ or you pay a termination fee. What's that say about a service when they make you pay to exit? You would think a company like Adobe would be more transparent about their "deal". I decided to pay the penalty to cut my losses. I think I ended up spending about $200 for my handful of images. I didn't like their app either. For me searches were tough to refine. Sometimes I got dozens of pages of images I had to click thru. Who has the time? Of those sometimes there was never a good match. Several duplicate shots came up in same search too. Most the images I found were available without subscriptions elsewhere for less. Many of their images are only available in AI format, instead of jpeg. Probably in an effort to get you to subscribe to their software too. Adobe Stock was a very bad deal for me.

I signed up to use Adobe Stock for some photos I had intended to use in a series of classes. However we changed our direction and when I went to cancel my subscription I was informed that there would be a penalty of 50% which is equal to about $134.00. I do not remember ANY part of the sign up process that referred to that. I have not ever used any stock from this company. When I contacted them to ask for a cancellation of my monthly fee, they said I would have to pay the cancellation fee. I did not get a copy of anything I signed or agreed to either. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
