If you buy from websites based in China a good rule of thumb is don't buy technology (phones, computers, cars etc...) and food (baby food, formula etc...).
If you buy anything at all... maybe cheap plastic things like cd holders and make sure they aren't priced over $5. The quality of products here are like the stuff found in claw machines in children's arcades. If you are a mannequin and in need of that shiny $5 gold watch to go with that shirt than be experimental and go for it.

One thing I like about this site is the vast amount of products available. They sell everything. I was able to order some sheet music from a specific author and BAM!. I should order more stuff from here more often. The price was retail price though but that's because its sheet music and very hard to find locally. Supply and demand at work. I was looking at burr grinders for a new coffee machine and found some good prices so I might order one of those. I can't believe I waited so long to order from this site. Great in depth reviews of electronics and computers.
