Just in case you miss the link on SiteJabber for the sitejabber add on through Firefox, here's the site to go directly to it.

I have downloaded it and it works very well. I've used it quite a bit already and I've saved myself some grief while online shopping for the new laptop I just purchased because I clicked on it and a couple of sites had bad reviews.

Everything you see on the TV ads and internet ads are right on the money. I love this site.

As a Genealogist myself, I use it all the time and I've located some wonderful things on my own family. Draft cards, census, phone book records, it's all there. The little leaves that are used as hints are just fantastic. I actually saw my Grandfather's signature and personal information on his draft cards and I've connected with family I didn't even know I had!

It's well worth the money and they've got different plans to suit everyone. They offer a free trial and if you join you even get more access. Give it a shot. You may be related to someone famous or someone right around the corner that you didn't even know about!

Some of you might remember the old Bud Lite Real Men of Genius radio ads that Budweiser ran a few years ago. They were also called Real American Heroes.
These were some of the funniest radio ads I've ever heard. I always got a good laugh out of them.

It's Bud Lite Radio. Just scroll down a bit and you can listen to the ads. Always good fun.

For this particular one, copy n paste this link so you don't have to search for it on the site.

Kudos to Frank C for his review of this site!

I went to it and downloaded the software and it worked like a charm! Thank you Frank! It's definitely cleaned up and cleared up some long time issues I've had with my computer. Great site! It was very fast too.

Okay, the name is a little funny sounding but if you're into Motorcycles and forums, this is the place for you.

My boyfriend has been on this site for years and there are some great people on there and the forum is very active. He loves it. The people are pretty funny and sometimes a bit risque and they offer advice on motorcycle maintenance and problem solving on everything from mechanical problems to where you can find a hard to find part. If you have any questions, the members are always willing to help you find the answer and there are some real characters on there, lol. The site owners closely monitor and interact with the members and are very attentive to their members concerns and suggestions.

They've even got trip trackers and maps you can fill in for the places you've been and a lot of the members actually get together at times for long rides, trips and general socializing.

It doesn't matter if you ride a Harley or a Suzuki, all are welcome there. In fact, you don't even have to have a motorcycle to join. You'll be accepted either way. Stop by and have a look at some of the posts and you just might like it well enough to join.

This is a great site if you love games. They have Hidden Object games, strategy, puzzles, word, card and just about any kind of game that tickles your fancy.

You can download a free trial of most games and you can play many online games as well. Games are also available for purchase and I've purchased several of them and I've been very happy with their games and their customer service. I've never had a problem with them or any game I've purchased and I've been on that site for a couple of years now.

Just about anyone can find a game they'll like here. It's a good way to keep your mind sharp too.

This is a great website for everyone! This site is for Doctors and patients as well as family members to check on the side affects and interactions of prescription medications and even tells you how some over the counter meds might affect and interact with others and your prescription meds.

Yahoo offers an application in conjunction with this site where you can enter the data on your prescription meds or a family members meds and remains as an online personal record. The thing I love about this is that I've got my older sister and a roommate that is disabled and both of them are on prescription medications. I have both records that I can access at any time and if they get a new prescription, I can enter it and see how it will work with the ones they're already on.

For busy Doctors this is a great website as well to have a quick look at when prescribing meds for their patients.

My sister is on a battery of meds and one day, she had a psychotic episode because she was prescribed two medications that were not compatible and she ended up in the hospital for nearly a week while the Doctors figured out what happened. I wish I'd known about this site before that happened!

Also, if I may make a suggestion. If you have a heart patient or someone in your household that may have to be taken by ambulance in an emergency, you may want to enter all the meds and keep a printed out copy for the medical staff that you can hand over so they can see what prescriptions and OTC drugs the patient is taking and then know immediately what treatment to administer. It beats gathering up prescription bottles in a hurry for EMS and the ER Doctors. Oh, and you can sign up for FDA notifications and warnings to come straight to your email too.

I hope this helps someone out. I've found it to be a very valuable site for my family.

  • Campbell's Kitchen

2/21/10

We all know about Campbell's soups and have enjoyed them but there's a lot more you can do with a can of soup than just heat and eat.

This site has a lot of good recipes, like French Onion Burgers, casseroles and healthy heart-smart recipes as well.

If you're pressed for time, you'll find some recipes here to fit your lifestyle and be prepared and cooked in a hurry. I use the Cream of Mushroom soup mix to make a quick Beef Stroganoff and Mushroom Chicken. Both are delicious and easy.

There is also a coupon savings link and an online community. Maybe if you're getting bored or your family is getting bored with the same old menu, you can find something here to try. I generally try to introduce a new recipe once a week just to break up any monotony. My family enjoys it and I love trying new things.

They even have a recipe navigator where you can search by "need". Like for a time saver recipe and you can even search by "mood", like if you're in the mood for chicken or whatever.

Give it a shot. I think you'll like this site very much. ;)

  • UrbanDictionary

2/21/10

This is another really fun site. If you don't understand a particular slang saying or word or you just wanna learn some fun new terms, this is the site to go to. It's really pretty humorous as well as informative.

Someone told me one day that someone "fartled" them. I said "what?" They told me to look the word up on urban dictionary and I did and it gave me quite a chuckle, lol. It's obviously a slang, made up term, lol. I'll let you look this one up on your own, lol.

So, next time one of your teenagers seem to be speaking in a foreign language, just check the urban dictionary to see if you can decipher it. ;)

  • WonderHowTo

2/21/10

This is a really cool site! It has free videos which can tell you how to do just about anything from how to make Jello Shot-Balls, how to peel potatoes without a peeler to making a little Lego toilet with a figurine, skin care and everything, lol. They have exercise videos and stuff like that too. They've even got a video on making little candies that look like bugs, lol. Of course they even have how to videos on hydroponics and how to make stop motion films and a variety of other things, It also has an online community and you can comment about the videos.

It's a really fun site. If you have the time, check it out. I'm sure you'll like it too.

  • Privateproxysoftware

2/21/10

If you want to hide your IP and protect your identity while online shopping or surfing, this is a really good service.

You get a free trial and if you like the service, it's just $9.95 a month. I have it and I've been very happy with it and the customer service so far. I've had it for about 3 months and I've had no problems with it at all.

A lot of people use this service if they've been banned from websites too because most sites will ban you by your username, email address and IP address. I've got some friends that use this just for that. (They didn't really deserve to be banned, it was a result of the Boji's on clickondetroit but that's a whole other story, lol.)

Anyway, this is a great service so take a look and see if it can help you surf a little safer online.

  • Zaba Search

2/21/10

Zabasearch is a people finder service offering public domain telephone number and postal address information.

You can search a person's name and if it's listed, in most cases they even have a month and year of the persons date of birth as well as listing previous addresses. There is a feature that is called "get the dirt" which will direct you to an Intellious site which is a paysite for background check but if you click around the info it does give you, you can even dig up names of people related to that household.

It's help me to locate quite a few people and you get the year they were/are associated with the address and phone numbers provided. Even if you don't have a date of birth, it's still worth a try because the info you do get can help you narrow the field down.

  • Sitejabber

This is a wonderful website. We've needed something like this. Especially when websites refuse to respond to consumers and bloggers and just choose to ignore the problem, we can sure speak our minds here. I was very happy to find this site as I didn't even know how to begin to let people know about the various websites that we all see every day. SiteJabber is awesome!

  • Annoyingcoworker

I'm LMAO! Gotta coworker who hums, whistles or whines all day and drives you bat-$#*!, lol? This is the place for you! You can air your grievance and send it to them and they won't have a clue who you are if you word it right.

I had a coworker that had such bad B. O. that it used to gag us all! We left him a can of deodorant in his box and no one would sit in his chair at shift changes. Still, he didn't get the hint. I finally had to tell him he smelled like a wet donkey but I hated to have to do it cause he was actually a nice man but it had to be done. Wish this site had been around when he was!

  • CheapTickets

6/28/10

I've used this site for 3 trips to Australia now and have had very good results. They have fairly good rates and everything has always ran very smoothly with my etickets and their customer service was good when I had to make changes to my flight except for one little snag.

Here's a little tip for you. If you have to change your flight, try going through your actual airline to make the changes because you'll find it's a bit cheaper than if you change it through cheaptickets. You'll likely still be hit with some financial punishment but cheaptickets was more expensive to make the necessary adjustments. Usually it'll cost around $250 plus any increase in airfare if there is any. But CT wanted to charge me $450 so I took a chance and called the airline and they took care of it all for me. Just make sure you have your booking number on hand.

Other than that, I've been very happy with this site and their service and I'm going to be booking with them again soon for Australia.

  • Perverted Justice

6/27/10

Heads up parents! If you've seen the show on MSNBC called To Catch A Predator, you'll see some familiar faces on this site.

Here you can read the sleazy emails these predators have sent thinking they're speaking with underage teens and their intent to meet up with them. You can also find out about their convictions and sentences.

It's a fairly simple site with few bells and whistles but they're not there for the look of their site. Most of these offenders were featured on the show. I personally love seeing the word "conviction" under their photos and I think most of you probably feel the same. This site is also good for parents to familiarize themselves with the predatory habits of these perverts and what to look out for when your teenager is online in those chat rooms and the like. Doesn't hurt to give it a little browse. You never know who you might find on there might just be your neighbor. The site has some good links as well to other sites dealing with this issue which could prove quite helpful for some of you in the long run.

Oh, and there emails on there from convicted predators because the people that run the site and volunteers pose as teenagers and they are doing their part to protect the kids out there and to get these pervs locked up. You can also volunteer to help in several ways.

  • RepairPal

6/3/10

I just saw this story on the news about this website. You can go to it prior to taking your vehicle in for repairs or maintenance and type in everything about your car and it's issues and it will give a an estimate that you SHOULD get. (Channel 13 Eyewitness new ran the story and they'll probably have something about it on their website.)

In other words, you will have a little insight or ballpark figure for what your repairs or maintenance should cost and then you can weigh that against the actual estimate to see if your auto repair is trying to stick it to you or not.

They also list repair shops in good standing, sort of a BBB thing. So, before you give into the grease monkey's, check this site out and get an idea of what you should and shouldn't be charged. Forewarned is forearmed!

  • Thebetterfish

Earlier I posted for another site called Special Kitchen where I mentioned the Barramundi Fish that is so popular in Australia.

Someone asked where they could buy this wonderful, healthy fish so I've posted this review with the link to the only company that sells the fish here in the US. It has a state guide and even recipes for cooking the fish as well. Pretty good site.

  • Special Magic Kitchen

4/4/10

If you haven't tried this Barramundi fish from Australia yet, take a look at the review on this site.

It tells you all about this particular fish and other foods as well as offering grilling tips, how to pick the best fish and it covers other food categories as well.

I'm particularly fond of this particular fish because it's high in Omega 3 fatty acids and it's just a great white fish to serve and it's versatile as well. I like it best grilled. I had some in Australia and it's very good.

This site offers some very good articles on many different things like even the best kind of yeast to use for baking, so if you get a chance, check it out.

  • truTV

3/4/10

If you like shows like Forensic Files, Operation Repo, Most Daring and It Only Hurts When I Laugh, on the TruTv Channel, you'll like this site.

It's got videos and the Dumb Blog and a TruTv library where you can look up famous crime cases. I found some rather entertaining videos from all around the world of people doing really stupid stunts and running from police and stuff like that.

Check it out, it beats being bored. Oh, and ya gotta see the bad hair day gallery of people arrested. Their "do's" alone are worthy of a felony indictment, lol.
