For the inside information about any locale, and the top restaurants, etc. Go place to get hotel discounts, too.
They have a lot of products, probably not the SKU that Walmart does, but they have much friendlier employees and actually add cashiers, when needed, which Walmart does not.
The SKU is limited, and you need to get there wright when it opens, and you have to buy a lot of most things. Doesn't sound like a recommendation, does it? But yes, the prices are great, the people are well-paid, and so happy and friendly (where else in Atlanta can you find that?), and their fresh-made food in the meat dept. is excellent.
But you'll get lots of emails, unless you shut them off.
I would never allow them to touch my computer, which is a Mac, nor to allow their downloads, which are always bad and poorly tested, and finally gave up on their phones, which are also poorly tested. Apple is a great testimony that you can have an awful company, with awful customer service, but still have great sales, which says a great deal about consumers.
They and Expedia were at least initially owned by the airlines themselves, and so they are the worst sites to get discounts. Or refunds. Go to the airline site directly, for the best deals.
They do not tell you in advance there is a fee even to fine someone on the site. They also don't tell you that, after you give them your email address, that they will post your information as an ad on their system, without your permission, and that you will start getting responses to an ad you never posted.
