Unbelievably poor experience. Just cancelled after ordering a Nord piano 5 on Wednesday planning for a Thursday (overnight) delivery, as promised when ordered, yet they can't even confirm a Friday delivery. Wow. Only ordered from here for the next day delivery. I can get undetermined delivery from anywhere. SUCKS
Their customer service is sub-par. They cancelled my order the first time. I called back and asked them why and the guy couldn't really explain it. I had to ask him if I could re-do the order (for over $1800) and insisted that he get me faster shipping to make up for the time on the cancelled order. He said he would..., I give him my CC, and then get a confirmation saying the products will arrive later than what was promised. No integrity.
They must be dealing with factory rejects or something... ordered an Ibanez guitar from them and it arrived on time... the neck was unplayable... called the hotline and they sent a return label. Returned it and the replacement arrived today... the neck pick up is defective. Called the hotline for a refund... will never shop there again. Too much hassle for a brand new instrument.

I will never purchase another piece of equipment from Zzounds! They will screw you on returns, they ship defective items and when you return said items they claim (falsely) the item was damaged on return and they will keep your deposit. I have never had business dealings with a more disreputable company in my long life and I have dealt with shady companies many times but they really stand out.
I purchased a dunlop polishing kit, said free next day shipping, so I thought yeah right. But to my surprise it arrived next day everything in order, and packed super well. It was a pleasant transaction for me with no issues... I'll definitely be buying from them again, out of all the eBay and online purchases I've made this was by far the best transaction yet... A+++++ great job ZZsounds you've definitely got a customer for life now...
The website has poor security due to this someone got access to my account. They charged an order to it trying to stick me with the payments. ZZsounds customer support originally said "no problem we'll handle it". Month later they say I'm at fault and I owe them the payments. Never did they say I needed a police report during the incident their customer support is terrible. They do not validate orders at all just pass them through with no email/phone verification so find somewhere else unless you want to be in a situation like I"m in. All they care about is getting payments they'll throw you under the buss regardless of your situation.
Usually service here is great for me, but if Les detect an ethnic vocal tone he will treat you disrespectfuly. I heard how he treated my Haitian friend who has a slight accent who called to order some cables. This Les salesman acted like a jerk, questioning my friends debit card and speaking with a very unfriendly tone of voice and insults. We both have purchased thousands of dollars of equipment here for over 10 years, and never encountered a character like Les. He could use customer service orientation training.
Bought speaker in August... it is December (4months) It is absolutely heartbreaking that my speaker no longer works & zZounds rep said it's after 45 days I'd have to go through manufacturer. $200+ and my speaker is a bust. So much for quality service and products... speaker didn't even last a year. I teach music class for underprivileged students during the pandemic. I will definitely put this on my social media pages so that our district doesn't use this company again. We need a reliable resource. Thanks for this lesson.
I ordered a keyboard from this company under the false advertisement that at a certain price there would be no credit check. My credit is poor but my income is very good as well as my employment is very stable and has been for years They will keep a hold on your items after they check your credit and do everything possible to get the customer to cancel the order. They will check your credit and they will give some horrible backorder timeframe and other bull$#*!! I called to get an estimated delivery and the original two week time is now two months. The salesman eagerly asked "do want to cancel"? Not "let's see what the hold up is or establish a delivery window!" But "do you want to cancel?" Bottom feeder company and total scam!

A guitar ordered from zzounds was scheduled to be delivered but knowing how useless fedex is about delivery I called FedEx instructed them that in no way were they to just drop the guitar on my porch and gave them my cell number and asked them to have the driver call when he was here... i waited they never called and later in the day I get a text saying it was delivered and a picture of some place where they just left my guitar. I had no idea where it was delivered.
I contacted zzounds and told them that my package was not delivered to me and they said they would send out a replacement first thing monday morning and I was to call Monday and set up the new order. When i called monday they played the 7 to 10 business day game and acted like it was my %$@&ing fault.
After reading a bunch of reviews I see that this is standard operating procedures for them. I say make the smart choice don't buy online. And boycott zzounds
I even filed a poli e report and asked them for the serial number of the 1000 dollar guitar and they emailed me some bs number and said they don't have record of serial numbers

Idk what all these other bots or fake people are saying but they will literally ship your items the day of and you'll get it the next day or the day after. Also, if you call them they'll answer in within a minute. No joke. Literally the best website to buy guitars.
I bought a blemished utility cart and received a damaged unusable piece of junk, likely returned by a previous customer and passed on to me. It was a day late on shipping, came with no hardware, bolt bent at a 90 degree angle and the box it was shipped in looked like it had been through a war zone. When I called to resolve the issue, they were very arrogant and couldn't have cared less. I would rate a -1 if the option was available

Hi everyone, today around 12 noon I ordered 2 Les Paul classics by mistake instead of just one. I called Gregory at Customer Service and he answered the phone on 2 rings. I actually got a person! He said no problem and within an hour I got an E mail from them stating it was taken care of and they would send just the one guitar I bought, Keep up the good work. P. S They we're the only ones who had the Epiphone Les Paul Classic( Best kept secret around)
I have spent over 12,000 in gear, I've never had a problem. In the beginning, they keep you at 4 payments and as you pay off loans, they increase you amount and terms, I can call, order gear and it's shipped. My limit currently is $3,000 and term is 12 months. They have never pulled my credit. If you ask for over 12 months they check your credit. But the website explains this in detail.
Zzounds are excellent with the billing, but poor service after they got your money.
We ordered equipment in thousands of dollars. Got it. After a few weeks, one amplifier died (it happens). I emailed their service department. Two days later I'm getting a response "please call us" (already 3rd world country service). I called. I gave the guy the order number. He asked for me to explain the problem. I mentioned that I sent an email with all the details, and he said that "he doesn't have access to the service email" (what?).
After a long call, I was told that I'll get a return label and I'll need to send the item back. Two days later, no return label. Had to contact them for the 3rd time (1st time an email, 2nd time a phone call, 3rd time a phone call). Slim chance that the issue will be resolved in 3 attempts... poor service. There are many good alternatives to this website.
I have bought many items from studio items to guitars, and wow, nothing but quality and timely support. Had to return a guitar, they were there to help and honored their return policy. I read some of the complaints, which to me are unrealistic expectations. Seriously, if you want the BEST payment plan to help you, this is the place to do it. Hands down, I will not buy from anyone else unless ZZounds doesn't have what I need. Customer service on chat or on the phone are quick and personable and friendly. They are sincere and informative. Remember, products like Ibanez ship to them, and zzounds doesn't always get a great shipped item, not there fault and you CAN return it if you follow the rules. I appreciate them and I have 5 guitars, one amp and tons of other stuff through them and well, communication is key if you have any issues. Love these guys, they are a great group to buy from!
DO NOT go by the delivery date stated on zzounds. They guarantee delivery dates that FedEx NEVER meet. I have had to wait on two orders at least 3 days longer than stated. These items were needed right away. Zzounds and FedEx and unreliable companies.
Was accurate about shipping received my guitar in two days was worried that it would be damaged in some kind of way but packaging was great and my guitar was in perfect shape and exactly what I ordered I was diffently pleased and will order more from them.cistumer service was helpful I noticed when made order it charged me twice they were understanding and fixed problem in a flash before I ever spoke to them there staff had already noticed it and that charge was fixed immediately.thanks zzounds..
Trying to return anything to zzsounds is a nightmare period. There are to many other professional music places to buy equipment from one in Fort Wayne, In. Which I have been using for years and thought I would give sounds a try. Never again!
Answer: You can't start out buying a $2K guitar with bad credit. Buy a lesser model and pay it out over 4 months. I've never been turned down and have bought about $9K in guitars from them, with poor credit.
Answer: I don't know who wrote the Experian lie. From what I'm gathering from "reviews", Zzounds has/is in the middle of an outright, SMEAR CAMPAIGN. They have no "hidden agenda." They, from my end, having ordered many times and always on a payment plan, have never sent me an, after the fact, email or an indiscriminate document I supposedly signed w/o reading about interest payments are to be paid immediately upon receipt of email. You don't sign anything. You make your first, slightly higher payment that covers processing. It's prudent and wise to vet claims that just sound too good to be true, they are legitimate from this site, irregardless of the one trusted advisor who might know a lot on the subject but clearly, not everything. It's termed, "in house" credit which mean, the company itself is showing faith in you even w/o knowing or even wanting to know, your score. If you don't pay, they eat it or, depending on the amount, it becomes a civil matter It's kinda sweet when you consider (and you have) how much fraud you have, especially on the web. In the past there were many more businesses willing to trust you at your word. Because more people felt like Scarface did about the two things, he don't break for no one. Zzounds is the REAL Musicians Friend.

Answer: You can't use a prepaid card with zZounds. They require a bank issued debit card or a credit card. So long as you use your bank issued debit card that is linked to your checking account, you will not be charged interest. Or, use your credit card and pay it off to avoid interest. Your claim that zZounds is lying about charging interest is untrue. They don't charge interest at all. If you choose to not pay off your credit card balance and let interest build, that is completely your decision and not zZounds. Hope this helps answer your concern. I buy everything from zZounds on payment plans, never been charged interest as I use my bank issued debit card. :)
Answer: If you have a higher priced guitar, like say a Gibson Les Paul Standard, it may take up to 4 days, as they have to find the exact serial number you selected, rather than just ship the next one. Normally, lower priced guitars take 2 days maximum, based on my experience
