I've been searching online for a diamond ring for my dad for quite a while and found that Zoara's prices were very competitive and significantly lower than retail stores.
Delivery wise was not a problem as it was really fast given that it was international shipping.
The diamonds that are on offer are very high quality without the price tag but adequate research would still be required in order to know which diamond suits your budget and taste.
The only constructive criticism I would make is the adding the additional information regarding extra customs tax that was applicable to the purchase at the checkout.
I understand in the information tab there are general details about the additional cost but given that I purchase via a dedicated Australian website, I would have thought I am buying through an Australian seller which would mean I only need to pay for what was at the check out page. Because I was buying on a budget, I purchased a diamond and setting close to that but because of the customs tax, I was out by a few hundred dollars.
I have purchased another diamond from a US site before and they did include such advice at the check out stage.
However, this is just a view from an inexperienced diamond buyer so I can only base my review on my personal experience.
Overall it was still a very good diamond for a very good price and would recommend Zoara to other family and friends.
I have nothing but praise for Zoara. Because of a stuff up by the courier company my ordered item went missing. The communication between the customer support team and myself was very good. The bottom line... Zoara sent me a replacement for the lost/stolen item within a week. It arrived yesterday in time for Christmas. When you consider I live in Adelaide Australia I consider the service I got from them above and beyond. I would certainly order from them again. Well done Harrison and the team.

I loved Zoara- their customer support was really helpful when it came to picking out a wedding ring for my fiance and I. We wanted matching rings and had a tough time agreeing but finally found what we were looking for on Zoara.
Buying a diamond can be challenging (quality trade offs, price, shopping process, etc.). I engaged both in store and online options. I found online to offer a wider selection of GIA certified diamonds at a much better value. Of the online options, I choose Zoara, as their Customer Service Representatives (CSR) were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Ben helped me through the selection process and directed me to some wonderful choices that fit within my budget. He did an excellent job consulting to understand what we desired in a stone and how it might match or setting. Ben shared pictures of the diamond to help us narrow our selection. After the purchase, other CSRs kept us appraised of the order fulfillment status and patiently helped us through the process. The diamond arrived, along with the appraisal and GIA Report, within the committed shipment window and we were very pleased with the quality of the stone. Please be advised that the order process will likely include; payment confirmation (through verification of small charges to your credit card), request for additional identifying information (name and address verification via a utility bill, etc.), and some ambiguity regarding the exact location and ship date of the order. Remember that diamonds are an "International Business" which can involve time zones differences, clearing customs, etc. meaning that the CSR may not be able to give you exact details once your order is placed. Bottom line, Zoara delivered to their promise and we are pleased with our purchase.

I am happy with the ring my fiancé gave me, mostly because HE gave it to me. It is special to me and I would not trade it. However, it does NOT look like the photo online. The edges aren't nearly as sharp or clean, the soldering is uneven and sloppy, and the double band that is joined to look like one ring is a double band in the back, whereas online it looks like a single band. Very shady misrepresentation. Will not buy another ring from these people.
I have choosen a diamond and wanted a very simple setting for a necklace. As the design was not available I have sent pictures of the design I want to Zoara (I had this design done before) and they ensured me that they could do the necklace as I had requested.
Unfortunately I got very disappointed when I received my necklace. It was supposed to be in rose gold but the piece which attached the diamond to the chain was in yellow gold. The setting overall was too bulky and the design didn't match what I had requested at all.
I went to a local jeweler who confirmed that the craftmanship of the necklace was very poor. He also informed me that a completely new setting was required to produce the setting I had requested.
Zoara offered me to send the necklace back so they could try and fix it. However, as I had absolutely no trust in their craftmanship skills anymore (looking at what they produced the first time round) I didn't want to do that.
I did also not get any refund as the necklace was custom made.
I think that ZOARA produces nice jewelry if you order custom - items they have "in their program". However, if you order something actually custom-made you might get very disappointed.

I was very happy with the entire shopping experience with Zoara. The website is easy to use and looks great. They have some awesome features like 3-D rotating videos of their rings that make it easier to get an idea of what the ring looks like in real life. My fiance and I ordered a preset solitaire diamond engagement ring that looks fantastic. My friends still can't believe that I found it online for such a good price!
I recently ordered an engagement ring from Zoara and found so many great points about Zoara's online experience. To start with, the jewellery is fantastic value for money but the main positive is the customisation options you are offered as a customer and ease of use of the website during the ordering process. This point is especially emphasised when being compared to other websites of a similar nature. The customer service is fantastic, online, and over the phone and the delivery is extremely quick. This is the greatest website for engagement rings. The interface is so easy to use, the customer service is amazing, and the diamond i received is the best diamond i have ever seen in my life. They have live chat 24 hours a day, and it's usually the same 3 people so you really get to know them. They are so helpful and never tried to get me to spend more, in fact many times i was looking at higher priced diamonds, and they showed me better ones that were cheaper. Amazing company, amazing service, and most of all amazing product. Fiance will love the ring, hope she says YES! Thank you David Jacobs and Zoara for everything.

After a week and a half into when I should have received my ring order, I had to email them to ask why it took so long. After multiple attempts to get through their customer service line - which took forever - they told me the diamond supplier did not have my diamond in inventory and it would take another 2 weeks to get the ring. Not to mention, I extensively stressed the fact I needed the ring within their advertised timeframe.
If you want to play your cards to get an average ring, go with them. I rather pay a little extra at retail and get extra perks like insurance for loss. Something to consider on a high value investment. Overall, I'm very upset at their quality of service and poor execution to deliver on time and not have kept their promise.

Placed an order for a diamond and made the payment, but a week later I was told that the diamond is no longer available. Has been dragging for a couple of weeks now to find a replacement but still hasn't resolved. Very frustrating with my money being in their bank account for weeks and I have to talk to different representatives each time I called and was told I can only wait at this point in time while keep searching. I did some research prior to contacting Zoara by reading favourable reviews etc, and the benefits of purchasing a ring online from versus retail. The company's fast and professional customer service has lived up to its reputation. I was very comfortable with purchasing a ring from this company. Zoara had an nice selection of diamonds that we were looking for. There were many quality options for us to choose from. The prices are much more affordable than what you'd find at any jewelers. The staff was very knowledgeable, and were very friendly and polite. It has been really great working with Zoara to find what we want!
I purchased from this store recently, from Australia. I had my misgivings at first because I was buying a wedding ring from overseas but had no need to worry. Customers are able to upgrade from their original stone for a new stone provided that the new diamond is at least double the original diamonds purchase price. Answer: You must have had a bad experience but thats not normal. The reality is tif your going to order stones online you need to get educated on what the general guidelines are for diamonds. You should do this anyway but its easy and they will help. They offer 45 day no questions 100% money back return so no risk at all. You can really save a lot and get a much nicer ring cutting out the middle men at other jewelry stores. The stone I ordered had to come from India and took about 10 days but soooooooo worth it. Its amazing and would've costs almost 50% more if I tried to get the same ring though a local big named jeweler no doubt.
