I first got hooked on Wish.com a couple of years ago. I was so excited, the prices were too good to be true. I read reviews of each item I purchased if it was clothing, since the clothes are all made for tiny Asian girls. I had to read how the comments related to sizes American girls purchased and the comments always said exactly how they fit. They were pretty close in according to reviews. I had too many incidences, however, where they advertised a price, yet most of the time, when you clicked on the item, or put it in your cart, the advertised price jumped up to their normal price, which was also inexpensive. Whenever I would write to wish.com, it was always returned, saying I must write below the dotted line, which I never could figure out how to do. Soooo many times, I never received the products. And I had no way to contact them. Products were paid for at time of ordering. If I still get the products someday, I will accept them, of course, from jewelry to hats, and I don't know what else. I no longer order from them due to not knowing if I would get the product or not. The quality of the clothing was cheesy. All but the knit full fitted slips, they are very nice, I ordered a second one at the time. But my shopping days with them are over. Unfortunately.
I ordered a wrap around bracelet watch that on the largest setting would only fit a gradeschooler. Then I got the wrong colored sweater and one with a big hole in it! What a joke. It's my fault since it's so cheap. I should've known better. Well no one I know will be ordering from there.
I've had no issues with wish I love my items I will most likely order from them again. The only problem with them their items takes awhile before coming in but it still gets in so it's a matter of waiting lol

Wish.com is just a site for buying rubbish. Imagine buying a rug that's just the size of your notebook. That's what i got buying from wish.com. I even took the time to let them know and they just closed the case without informing me. They could even tell you to return the item, knowing fully well that the cost of return is far more than the item itself!
I ordered 8 items. Ended up getting refunded for all of them when it was still not delivered at 7 weeks. Some of the items did arrive but they were all junk. Ordered gadgets, clothing and jewellery. All went straight to the trash. Far worse than what we get at the local dollar store. Nothing lost for me so I give the company a 5 for their refund policy. But not worth the time and disappointment.
My advise after purchasing at least 12 different products from electronic tonics to clothing. Not worth your money. Clothing poor quality and most likely under sized, shoes same and again sizing off all of this while careful following size charts. Other items failing to arrive. Electronics, poor quality with very basic functions, such as smart watches. If you are lucky enough that the item is working, don't expect it to last long. To be honest if you are after a bargain, shop local within your own country, you will find more satisfaction better quality and a real guarantee, because look their guarantee isn't worth the paper it's printed on. You will end up paying more returning an item to them, this to include custom charges returning it to them. Avoid all together.!
I had a large purchase of giveaways for an event. Part of the shipment arrived from one store before the estimated shipping date, but the other (larger portion) did not arrive at all. I complained and that portion was refunded. I'm thinking some stores selling within Wish.com are better than others.
In order to make my event successful, I had to purchase from a more reliable online store with express shipping a few days before the event.

I ordered a few coats and dresses. I am a size 4 but the clothes that came were made for a child. One could see through the fabric. The products that you order come from Asia and the sizes are Asian. We are not built like them. Plus, now that I know they beat, skin alive and boil dogs and cats alive AND they slaughter the Dolphins for 6 months out of every year IN TAIJI JAPAN, I don't want to support them. I have recently bought 2 coats from wish both are not cut like on the picture and material is cheap rubbish, i will never buy clothes of this site again, i thought the price was to good to be true!
Quickly took my payment. Tracking email links did not work all llinks gave me 404 error. Product arrived in 3 weeks, broken and unusable. Support email links direct me back to the store. My password no longer works and I wrote it down so I know its right. Request to reset password never came to my inbox, even after 3 requests, and not in my spam either. Waited 5 business days no refund yet.

I ordered a few small items over a few months and although took a while to receive had no problems. Soon discovered the more expensive the item the longer it takes to get to you. I was prepared to wait a bit longer for an item that I ordered. They stated that due to high demands it would be running late. Recieved my order 2 days ahead of time which was amazing to say the least. When I recieved the item however, it didn't fit of course! There was also a pre-made stain on it! Cool... this website sucks. You pay for cheap things you receive cheap things, lesson learned.

All of my items have arrived and I've been happy with all of them. BUT, here's what you should take into consideration:
- Sizing is NEVER good for Wish clothing. Buying any sort of clothing article on Wish is a huge risk that will more often than not leave you disappointed. However, I am one of the lucky few that picked sizes well so it is possible to get good results. (1 size up for a sweatshirt and my medium butt somehow fit into all the underwear I ordered)
- It takes a LONG time. You'll be waiting for months. Yeah, I don't care what the cute little display says, it'll take months. If you can learn to be okay with that, (all shipping is 2$ so, personally, I am) then Wish is a good option.
- It's cheap China-made stuff... so buy things that don't need to be high-quality. The things I've bought were mostly cute little decorations that have no problem during mass-production. If you need quality, look elsewhere because you get what you pay for.
- You see those blue check marks next to certain items? Those are reliable. Go for those when you can.
- Make good use of the refund system! As soon as your item exceeds its LATEST arrival date (Not when it's pushed back. Spoiler: it WILL be pushed back.), contact support under the refund option. They've refunded about half of my items in this manner because, as mentioned, it takes a long time.
Is it worth it? That's up to you. But it's not a scam, per se.
EDIT: Fraud and individual sellers
- I've seen a lot of reviews lately about credit card fraud originating from Wish sellers. This has not happened to me but pick your sellers carefully. The blue checkmark should be a safe bet as far as sellers go and items with tons of good reviews should be as well. What buyers need to understand is that Wish is a marketplace. It doesn't have the best security and it allocates a grand total of 0$ to customer service but they're not stealing your money, unwisely chosen sellers are.
EDIT 2: Price bump-up
Wish has now significantly increased all their prices, now gaining more profit from the item itself on top of what they added into shipping. These are no longer bargains and I will therefore be giving Wish a lower rating.
I love wish.com! Being a college student, I'm on a budget. But when I need new picks for my guitar, or new strings, this is definitely the place to go look for them. Great prices, affordable shipping, and great quality on their prices. Sometimes I have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for the product to arrive at my door, but that's ok because I'm saving money :)

They give u estimated shopping time then add 2 wks. So answer to your question items are not the best but not the worst of quality either.

I placed an order for about 70 items on a single order, out of those 70 I have received 9 items. *3* where broken, *4* was the wrong item and *2* were such poor quality it was unusable. Answer: Everything typically takes forever to get to buyer if it gets to you at all, then Wish says 5 more days, 5 more days all the while they have your money, if you do get your order and it isn't right or defective they expect you to return the item on your dime regardless that it was their mistake which is illegal. There is no customer service, you have to email then eventually call your bank or file a complaint with the District attorney about Wish which I had to do in order to get my refund. The clothes are sized for the Asian market and therefore are many sizes smaller. I wear a medium and ordered the one article of clothing I have ordered in an xxl and it just fit. Clothing tends to be on cheap side, too. Watches and jewelry tend to be a good deal and I have ordered many watches as gifts ans have averaged $3-$5. They look expensive and some even say CK on them. I ordered a $70 purse that I didn't use for several months and when I did, the zipper broke. I took a picture of it, sent it to customer service and received a refund within an hour. Didn't even have to send the item back. Items can take up to a month and if you complain, they usually offer a refund, but even with the refund, I have received the item every time. Have patience and read the reviews and you will be good to go!
