I was afraid to order from this company to begin with... and I should have gone with my gut instinct... I was given absolutely incorrect information from their customer service person. I was told that if I exchanged my order for something different then I would be given complete credit and not charged a return fee. There is no such policy or so I was told by the very rude "manager" I spoke with later. The return policy is ridiculous - I ordered a chair, and was going to be charged $100.00 to return this chair... nearly half what I paid! I also went online to see the details of the chair only to find that within two weeks from the time I ordered the chair and now the chair no longer exists... oh but wait it does... under a different name and for nearly $100.00 less than what I paid two weeks ago.
After requesting to make a formal complaint, the "manager" just sat there silent... nothing formal about it... absolutely ridiculous.

Please do not order from this company! Find somewhere local to buy from and support your community!

The worst

They sent us the wrong color 3 times also we been waiting since September. This is the worst never again we have two big boxes taken up space waiting for them to pick up to give us the right color

Horrific experience

I had the most horrific experience of my entire life with Wayfair. I literally called customer service at least 10 times to ensure that I have an order replaced and expedited after they sent me the completely wrong item. Needless to say every single time I called I would receive different contrary information. I took so much time out of my own busy work schedule, it was like speaking to Wayfair customer service was my new full time job, and yet nothing was done to help expedite my order even after they had sent me the wrong item to begin with. Everyone up til this point with their fake concern, telling me that an item had shipped and left the warehouse when it was never even picked up at all. Please order from any other company other than this one. All I want is the correct item that I ordered. I don't want a refund. I just want my item expedited. I could have ordered it from multiple different sites, but unfortunately ordered from this inefficient unprofessional company. I spoke with the rudest supervisor on May 6,2022, named Linda who was so unhelpful and dismissive, Showing absolutely no empathy to my situation and not trying to resolve my problem at any capacity whatsoever. Having the correct item expedited to me seems like an easily correctable problem, but apparently this company finds simple problems like this impossible to fix. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM! BEWARE!

WORST EVER

They have the worst delivery time, they don't update anything within your order to track your delivery AND the packages arrived opened and boxes torn severely. I've given this company so many chances to get it right. I'm DONE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE EVER!

I bought two new beds from Wayfair to fill my guest rooms.

When I opened the first one and put it together, I realized that the product was incredibly cheap - plywood slats, hollow-core headboard and footboard, and cheap plastic dowels. I wasn't happy with how flimsy it was and that's when I also discovered that Wayfair doesn't allow you to return anything once you've assembled it. They tell you you have 30 days to return it, but you'd better decide whether you like it or not before you put it together.

Additionally, both of the beds I purchased arrived as different products than I'd ordered - they substituted a product with a different name that appeared the same, and claim that their order policy allows them to do this.

Lastly, I posted a review of the bed I'd assembled and Wayfair quickly deleted it, as well as a couple other 1-star reviews that had been the most recent reviews.

I went to return the other bed - I didn't want to risk it being a piece of crap like the first one - and then found out that their free shipping only applies to sending it to you, to return it I would need to pay shipping myself

Poor customer service
November 17, 2022

I bought a rug from Wayfair and it was a really bad quality so when i first saw the rug I went online to return it it says i have to pay shipping fee almost $50 why would i pay shipping fee and it is not as expected. They have really poor quality and really bad customer service because when i called them too the girl was so rude to me whatever i spoke to her she was like ohh this is our policy and its not wayfair fault if it is poor quality to you or you dont like it. Their customer service are bad I DO NOT RECOMMEND WAYFAIR TO ANYONE. This was my really bad experience with them and this was my first and it will be my last order.

I've ordered eight items from wayfair.com and a few days later I saw on my account that two of the item's delivery dates were changed to 2 1/2 months later. I was confused of what was going on with my order and the next day I called and spoke with a customer service representative. She basically said the order is back ordered until Apr. 16 (prior delivery date was Feb. 2). She apologized for the trouble without offering a resolution to this issue besides cancellation. I have my house turned upside down and have been waiting for the crown molding before moving on with painting. I ordered a different style of crown molding which had a bit higher price and the manager said they cannot price match the two items. I went through all the trouble and was not informed in regards of the big delay with my two orders and they couldn't offer a discount or a price match on a different item that hopefully will come on time. Btw, four more items from the a same ordered were already arriving late. The manager said he doesn't think the new order of crown molding are in stock either. During this order, I've signed up for the Wayfair credit card, too. It is a big mess and a lot of headaches! If I was aware of the troubles I would have ordered from other companies not wayfair. They are unreliable and don't offer resolution. Sad and dissatisfied….

Ordered a filing cabinet but kept on sending just a shelf 2x. Waited for almost 3 months for an item that never arrived! Poor customer service and delivery! No resolution. Never again.

I was charged twice for a sectional and they lied saying it was a "manufacturer issue". The couch came in 2 separate boxes, both damaged, I could see the couch coming out of the box and whomever I spoke to said if the plastic is showing, it's fine. Even though it had been raining and rain goes into giant damage holes if I remember common sense correctly.

Never use this company. I've never had a good experience with them and I'm currently waiting on a $2k+ refund for almost a month, and that's because THEY CHARGED ME TWICE and then blamed my bank. And since I made the call this morning to ask about it, they said I needed to wait an additional 3-5 business days to see if my refund is there.

They consistently pass blame onto others and for that, I will never use this company, everyone I've gotten advice or called about this issue doesn't want anything to do with wayfair. They cheat you out of thousands and then make you wait on their timeline on when they feel like refunding you back. And my only advice from the wayfair man I spoke to?
"Use a credit card next time so it doesn't charge you twice".

Wayfair, you are trash. The quality of your items are trash. And your integrity is the dumpster that you throw all of that into.

I ordered a product, a vanity about two and a half months ago, It was shipped from whoever. When it got to the final shipping company, they gave a date when it was going to be delivered. I took the morning off the day it was supposed to be delivered, they called and said they'd have to reschedule for the next week, and didn't have room on the truck. The next week came. I got the same phone call, We'll have to reschedule for next week. The next week came. I got the same thing. I don't normally do reviews other than when I'm totally getting upset with the company I bought from. I called the shipping company to complain and the lady that answered said hold on. She came back about 25 minutes later and said I'm so sorry, but the person you need to talk to is not here and she will call you back later. I had put the phone down on speaker and I had to ask her when, and she said today...we'll see. The shipping company is JW Logistics. I have a bathroom torn apart waiting on this vanity for measurements for plumbing purposes. The bathroom has been unusable for close to 3 weeks now because of this shipping company. Wayfair is a good place to shop because of their selection in ease of finding things. There are other companies out there that sell the same exact thing, and that is who I will buy from. Wayfair, because you use the shipping company and the experience I have had with them, I will never buy from you again. Also, the vanity I bought from Wayfair was found at Bed Bath and Beyond, the same exact thing for about $154 cheaper.

This is not a real loud website. The only way I found out about it is due to an item being sold out at Walmart OnLine and they said that Wayfair had the item I might be interested in... I am always suspicious of these 3rd party web sites that sit and wait for someone to come along and "order it from me, order it from me"...
But the Walmart site promised me free shipping to my home and money back guarantee if not satisfied... I bit... and now I have bitten 4 more times and am really pleased with the quality and customer service of this company.

It is one thing to order a pair of jeans in a 32 inch waist when you know that is your size, and it is a matter of faith and trust to order a rug, or lighting, or outdoor equipment from a site that touts another site and come away smiling...

We have had an awful icy winter and I was unable to even get out of the
Door due to icing without scraping and scraping and scraping, and found
A wonderful warming rug for outdoors with free shipping and a whole year
Guarantee, I ordered it pronto and within 3 days had my rug and within 4 days
Was able to leave my house without landing on my face. It holds its heat
At 45 degrees, ( I checked) and I should have looked for these a long time
Ago...

Very very happy and now I visit Wayfair without opening the front page of Walmart.

This company is horrendous, the quality of their products are cheap at best. The specs they advertise are misleading. They do not pick up their moldy mildew products from your home even after multiple phone calls and missed appointments by their "Freight department" Their large freight department is deplorable IE: Tammy- such an embarrassment to the company. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY

One of the worst places I've ever ordered from
We got a duel set of memory foam pillows
A king size bed foundation and a king size mattress
The pillows came quick and were great but then problems started
We got the head board and foot board 3 weeks later
And it was all busted up tried to call and kept getting hung up on
Another week goes by and we get the bed rails and storage pieces once again all beat up
And hopefully on june 10 we will have our actual mattress
The order was place on April 28 2020 its ridiculous for the price we paid so bad in fact we had to order another mattress from a local company and low and behold we had it next day

Wayfair - Seriously crappy customer service!

I called customer service at Wayfair. What an absolute joke. If i could give them a zero on your scale i would!

I expedited an order for outdoor furniture and spent $155 in additional shipping fees to ensure i received the order in time for new guests staying at our VRBO. The order did not arrive by the date the system estimated.

Lyndsey a CS Manager was the least helpful person i have ever dealt with. I have spent close to $10,000 at Wayfair over the last 4 years. I wasnt asking to refund the merchandise. Just the $155 i paid to expedite the order. Wouldn't even make a gesture except for a 10% coupon that anyone can get on any coupon website. If a company wants to keep a customers coming back they have to always make exceptions to the rules. One upset guest will tell 10-20 people and on & on! The order will arrive on exact date that Wayfair offered without any expedited shipping! Why do they offer if they cant fulfill this!

Mark my words i will never use Wayfair again and every chance i can get i will leave a bad review. I cant return the items because i have the guests in the home for 8 weeks. The boxes will have to be put in the garage til we can put together after the guest departs!

Shop local and give your hard earned
Money to the businesses that keep your communities going. I'm going to change my ways! These big box companies dont give a hoot about customers anymore.

Stay away from WAYFAIR! Wayfair I will be putting my story everywhere I can! Would of been alot better to credit me $155. Cant make this $#*! up!

Worst Online Store with deceptive products description
Wayfair is the worst online company I have ever dealt with. As a first time customer, I purchased some bedding including quilts from Wayfair. The product description and specification did not match the merchandise I received. The customer help desk person was extremely rude and arrogant. She told me that you should read the description and product shipped was correct to the description. Wayfair does not pay shipping for the returned goods because they know that customer will have to think twice before returning the goods. Customer will be out of pocket for shipping charges for returning the goods and end up with complete loss. A double whammy! I will never again purchase from Wayfair. Amazon, Walmart, and other businesses provide such a better customer service. Not sure how Wayfair can stay in business with such a bad policy and customer service, and selling extremely bad merchandise which does not even meet the description and specification provided on their website.

Delivery and customer service nightmare
February 20, 2023

Wayfair (and it's 3rd party delivery service Updike) will not bring your delivery inside or even TO THE FRONT DOOR (item was bought by dad who selected outside door drop off- however the item was dropped off in our driveway, blocking our vehicle, and NOT brought to the door at all), and will not come help you if you call, but WILL process a return and take the item back- EVEN IF you explain that you're 38 weeks pregnant

Wayfair have since contacted me and a very helpful manager has resolved the situation but without admitting liability which slightly sticks in the craw but at least I have a satisfactory conclusion

Beware of wayfair "clearance" items because I doubt that they actually exist, recently they accepted my payment for a so called clearance sofa then 4 days later simply cancelled the order and expect me to now pay full price for the same item that is still available to buy.
No apologies no explanation not even an email
Very poor customer service on the telephone when I called to complain from a operator that talked to me like it was them doing me a favour.
Stay clear this is sharp business practice
