I ordered a Wayfair gift card - print at home - as a Christmas gift for my daughter Dec 17. When she went to use the gift card sometime early Feb it would not work - instructed to contact customer service. When she contacted customer service was told person purchasing gift card needed to call.
Short version is the card was flagged and frozen because I - Tony - purchased it using my wife's credit card. But Wayfair kept the money. Wayfair did not refund the money and did not contact me - via the same email they sent the card to - that there was a security concern and I needed to contact customer service/security.
So Wayfair kept the $$ and waited to see if someone called - that someone being my daughter who now couldn't use her Christmas gift card - even though Wayfair HAD THE MONEY. Adding further insult I had to buy another card and wait on a refund for the first card.
It's damn near attempted theft on Wayfair's part. Wayfair's security/fraud team should have either refunded the purchase of the card OR contacted the purchaser (me). But what Wayfair did was keep the money and sit and wait to see what happened.
Never again. My daughter will get an Amazon card next year.
Taught I was buying a bbq grill, they send me a shelf. All the pictures showed a bbq grill now to return item I have to pay $40. Would be doing my online shopping with Ebay. Good riddance $#*!s

Wayfair- I ordered tile from them. The order said the tile- which I needed within 2 weeks would arrive. Days later I check back, still no tracking info. I called they said it would not show a date of delivery and because of the weight of the item they could not give me a tracking number- totally bogus answer. 2-3 more days go by I call again and by now it's getting closer to the installation date for the tile- the still can give me no tracking information just that it's on a freight. The next day I ask to cancel, I am not told that the item will have a charge, $25, immediately upon hanging up it says I was charged $200 of the $350. I call and try to reason with them based on their inability to schedule a time I have to cancel, they refuse. I disputed the charge with BOA, finding in Wayfair's legal contract that charges are only to be incurred UPON RECEIPT of an item, I never received it! I canceled well within the time and yet they made $200 off of my purchase and non-receipt of any item. This is some racket they have going on. No updates and when customer's get tired of waiting for an item, as we usually order with an end date in mind, they charge for cancellation. I will never spend another dollar on this company again, they are completely unprofessional in their policies, deliveries, and explanations.
Don't order anything time sensitive from this company!
I ordered a bedframe on june 12 as i had family visiting starting the 27th. They said delivery would be the 25th.
On the 25th it didn't show up so i called. They apologized and said it would be there by friday the 27th. Here i am on the 30th and still no frame.
I called a second time and now they say it won't be here until the 7th. My family has since come and gone.

I should have read all of the reviews online before I ever ordered from Wayfair. This has been, without any doubt or exception, the worst online purchase company that I have ever dealt with and I have been purchasing online for well over 20 years.
I placed an order with Wayfair on 4/27/21 and they said to expect delivery before 5/7/21. It arrived 5/8/21, in a box that was completely mangled with parts falling out of it all over the ground. Inside the box, parts were missing and some parts were bent, warped, twisted, scratched and completely unusable.
I took pictures and contacted the company immediately. They said that they would send out replacement parts right away and I would have them shortly.
WRONG! I just received them today, 6/2/21,25 days later. The boxes I received were completely mangled and open, again. The parts inside were mottled, rusted, bent, and most were unusable.
This company does not care about its customers once they get your money. They could care less if you ordered something for a birthday present, mother's day present or for any date whatsoever. They will not expedite replacement part shipping for ANY reason.
Most of their crap comes from China and you would be better off buying from anywhere but Wafair.com.
I urge you to save a lot of stress, anxiety, anger, time and money by NOT EVER purchasing from this company. If you do, please do not say that you were not warned. Many, many people have left negative reviews and you should take heed and listen.
I will NEVER EVER use this company again.

I bought a gift card for my son and his wife for Christmas. Three days ago I got an email that indicated the code for the card had been changed, and it was now my responsibility to let my son know of the problem.
The only valid reason I can think of for doing this would be a massive data breach, but none of the 6 CSRs I spoke with would give me an answer (scary enough!), but a more sinister reason would be to cut down on the number of used cards! The subject line says "Updated Gift Card", which will NOT get a very high open rate. If they really were trying, they would have put an "Urgent" into the title! I know I barely decided to open it given the title. I know from my prior experience as a debit card/gift card fraud analyst is that the reason for gift card profitability is because of NON-USAGE,, which will go sky high if people never open the email!
Those are the only 2 reason I can think of for perpetrating this fiasco, and neither one of them absolves Wayfair of responsibility.
What a shoddy and untrustworthy organization. I will never do business with this company again.
I don't recommend wayfair because they're not good on deliver as my package arrived havf torn, hence I returned the item. Although inexpensive, I guess you get what you pay for.
I've ordered from wayfair on several different occasions. From beds, to dresser sets and even pillows for my couch. On two occasions I was sent entirely different items from what I purchased and another time wrong sizes. The problem is in all actuality, the incompetence of the warehouse workers who seemingly pack whatever they want to apparently, but the bigger problem is the customer service and the so called supervisors who handle your issues as if your the one who caused them. I waited over a month for a chest to be delivered and upon arrival turned out to be an entirely different style that I hadn't ordered. I called customer service and after an hour of back and fourth (and no compassion what so ever) my only options were keep the dresser (I didn't want and waited a month for) with a 20 percent discount OR house the dresser in my home for two weeks until THEY decided whether they wanted to come back and get it or would like me to "donate" it. They also told me they would do the "courtesy" of issuing me a refund as if that's not what they were suppose to do. Today I went to buy a nightstand that was listed at 389.00 yesterday on sale with an original price of 495.00 and today the same nightstand is 639.99. When I spoke with a representative about the price increase she informed me her managers only option was to give me 10 percent off. I am completely done with wayfair, they do not value their customers and I highly recommend for people to spend their money elsewhere, with companies that value and appreciate their customers, especially during a pandemic where money is scarce as it is.
Wayfair refused to ship my product. I have a professional account and placed this order on October 21st. My delivery date was changed now! 4! Times. I called and pleaded that construction was waiting on this shipment. Was told they weren't "backordered" there were actually 10 in my color and make- but that the warehouse was behind. One of my calls- CS sent in a ticket explaining that construction was waiting on this product. Bumped after that. Also called and spoke with a manager on my last call. The manager called and spoke with a manager in the warehouse. They both said my product would ship out on October 23rd. That they had a truck scheduled, and my item would be on the truck guarenteed October 23. (Please pull the call log Wayfair Management). Today my acct was updated and bumped AGAIN to December 11th. Wayfair does not support or care about their professional customers or any customer for that matter.
Wayfair - which i will call Way-Unfair postponed delivery 2 time, then they refused to cancel my order! Way-Unfair refused to refund my hard-earned money and they took more than a month to (According to them) deliver the products, (Which I never received) and Way-Unfair admits they were having "Problems" with FedEx during this time. Wayfair are Thugs and extortionists because they are now saying they will not refund because I put a dispute with my credit card company (This is because of principal, who would pay for something they did NOT receive! Wayfair CROOKS! Don't buy from Way-Unfair!
Enekole the customer service representative for Wayfair was the best in processing our refund. She was polite, friendly and professional. I give her 10 stars.
It's been 3 months and I have still not received my sofa from Wayfair! They kept e-mailing me giving me a later date on when the sofa would arrived and then close to the arrival date i called to double check on it and they told me "oh actually it's on back order" and when i ordered the sofa 3 months ago they said they had 10 in stock! DO NOT USE WAYFAIR unless you are ok with waiting 3 months.
Bought a desk that is literally made of cardboard. If I sit on it I know it will break in half. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A FRAUD. They wont refund my money and customer service knows they are fraudulent and wont deny it.
I usually go to Wayfair first because I have had such good service from them. Granted, I have never had to deal with returning items, so I do not know about that; but the reason that I have not dealt with returns is because I have been so satisfied. I have purchased no less than 20 times from them after stumbling on them by accident. Most of the items I have purchased have been from the daily sales or from clearance. I always check with other sites to see if I can get the item cheaper. If I can find it at Overstock, Target, Wal-Mart or where ever cheaper: I go to the cheapest place (but not to any Chinese outlets other than Light in the Box). 9 times out of 10, it is less expensive at Wayfair. The most expensive item I purchased was a $400 sofa. The least expensive was a 20-dollar pot hanger. Everything I purchased was value/price/quality appropriate. I highly recommend them after comparing their prices to other places. I am not sure why I have had such good luck while other have not. Sometimes I get items within 2 days! They have a broad selection, in almost every price and quality point. I love this company.

Bought the bed frame and headboard. First of all great looking product. Easy to assemble, precisely written instructions, great tools and hardware included, and high quality materials.
Ordered office chair, day later price went up and Wayfair put my order "on hold" because of payment problem. Thier was no problem just Wayfair being Wayfair.
I am tax exempt and i get no help or answers from Wayfair i have no problem with amazon. Overstock, Walmart. Lowes but i can't talk to anybody other than sales of current orders or old orders.

I ordered a Christmas tree 2 weeks before Christmas and was told it would shop with in a week. A week passed. I called. Was told item not shipped and the dates given are estimates.
