First, tells me that my insurance qualifies.
Then, doesn't let me input insurance information.
Then, goes through a minimum of 7 names of customer service people who ask me questions like, what is your email address? What is your phone number? What is your order number? I didn't see a response (they didn't look when I gave them the info they asked for) so is everyting okay?, again what is your email address? Did you check if your insurance is covered? Sorry, sorry, sorry! Can you give us your email address again? What is your insurance? Oh, sorry, your insurance doesn't cover us! (Totally regular insurance - Eyecare). Do you have a Flexible Spending Account? This occurred over the course of 2 weeks. I never worked with a single person on their side.
I paid over $300.00 for a pair of glasses, and in less than one year the glasses are all scratched up. When I called the customer service they told me they are guarenteed for 6 months. I find that unacceptable. I will now take my business somewhere else.
The process takes way too long, I still have to go to my eye doctor to get them adjusted because you can't speak to anyone at a store, and they are more expensive than the average glasses. I will never ever do this again!
The frames and lenses are good quality. However, the lense focal point is incorrect and reading becomes difficult unless I tip my frames into odd angles.
I took the glasses in to Warby Parker and they heated up and adjusted the frames to work better. What happens, though, is that the frames, within a week or so, creep back to their original status.
I think I needed a REAL optometrist to measure where my focal point should land within the frames I had chosen. I have double vision, so I require specialized prisms in my lenses. I don't think those can be placed correctly in an online order without a human optometrist's input.
Purchasing something as touchy as eyeglasses online when one has a specialized prescription was a costly mistake.for me.
Horrible customer service and uneducated ophthalmologists! Their equipment is old and not working properly, and their glasses are expensive comparing to other shops. The company only cares about money.
I loved the frames but got my 1st pair and seeing was off. Went back and they adjusted fit of glasses. Went back again and discovered the "dot" was off in both lenses. They re-did the dot when I got them back vision still seemed off. Waited for my eyes to adjust. Got them fitted again. Finally went to my eye doctor and the "dot" was off in the left lens and they had added a prism in the right lens. They were great about giving back my money but not being able to see well for a few months was awful. I spent almost 3 times more at Invision but I CAN SEE!
Ordering glasses from Warby Parker has been an absolute nightmare. I have called them around 5 times for various concerns. First off, they said they would reach out to my optometrist to receive my prescription and they never did and I got an automated email later that day that said they wouldn't do it and I needed to. I called my optometrist and they said Warby Parker never even attempted to get the prescription. Later they got my prescription mixed up with another pair of glasses in my order. I finally received my order and the glasses were SO BLURRY. My optometrist states it's because Warby Parker doesn't even take the sufficient measurements in the store. Now I have to take them in to get them fixed. No wonder these glasses were so cheap.
A new prescription, I purchased two pairs. I went to one of their shops and met with their 'optometrist' for my progressive lenses. That was three months ago. Since then, I have received THREE remakes of the glasses: They can't seem to get them right.
The first time, the lenses were placed in the frames at a tilt… the second time the progressive began too high on the lense, and the third time they omitted it all together.
I won't put myself through this ever again.
I purchased 2 set of eye glasses. I was told they were going to be delivered before the expected delivery date. I didn't get them on the delivery date nor did I get them 4 days later to the changed delivery date. I did get a message that there was a problem with the delivery address. I have lived at the same address for 30 years and never had a delivery issue. Still haven't gotten my glasses and I will most likely never order glasses for Warby Parker again
These jackasses don't want to take the prescription from your optometrist. They want you to use an app to try and get measurements for your eyes. How $#*!ing stupid are these millennials?!? Waiting for my money back? It has been weeks.
If possible I would leave 0 stars. Company sent incorrect script. After phoning them they refused to send glasses with the appropriate script. HORRIBLE customer service. Order Rx glasses anywhere but here.
As another Warby Parker experiencer described, "the most uncomfortable glasses which receives the most compliments." This person ended up returning the glasses from Warby Parker for another more expensive brand. The discomfort was just not worth it. I have two of their glasses but I think that's it for me. The overall cost at Warby Parker may initially seem less, but don't be fooled. With multiple adjustments needed, because somehow the staff never seems to get it right in one go, or even having to send back the glasses for an exchange, the time and effort adds up. My time is precious. Also, NEVER order their progressive lenses online. Just does not work. My two cents: look elsewhere.
Ok - so perhaps cheaper than the eye dr? Not actually sure. Their measuring system is useless, I even used a tape measure and that failed, use a human you fools! Just send me what I wanted vs. trying to be so technical, it is a horrible experience and I am glad I cancelled my order... so frustrated.
I am new to wearing eye glasses and had seen the commercials showing how bendable and durable theor glasses were. Well, only a few short months after getting a pair of their Crane style glasses I went to fold them up and the right arm just snapped off.
Went into the store, they looked me up, and they said they were definitely still under warranty. They said I should email the help at warby email and they can help me out.
After all this I was told I'd have to pay for a new pair! Why on earth would I pay well over a hundred dollars AGAIN for another pair of these cheap, easily broken glasses?
DONT WASTE TOUR TIME OR MONEY ON WARBY PARKER!
Paid $95 for a pair of glasses that hurt my eyes. I'm almost certain they're the wrong prescription. On top of it seems they forgot to fit the left lens into the actual frames... just looks like they tried to forcefully push it in rather than shaping it which has bent the left side of the frame. Quality control?
RUN away from this horrible company! Ordered product on 4/10/2024 - (3) pairs of glasses for over $1,000. Guaranteed delivery within 7 business days. Day 7 today. Had to call the company to find out there was manufacturing defect in (2) pairs. They have no idea when they will deliver these (2) pairs now even though they are holding my money. Asked them why they would not expedite the manufacturing and put my defective glasses ahead of other orders? The Customer Service Manager to me: "Because you should be GLAD we held your order and didn't ship defective glasses. YOUR order is just one of thousands. We make 98% of glasses correctly. YOUR order is just a 'perfect storm' so just be glad we didn't ship them." Seriously? WTF, Warby Parker?! Cancelled my order and returned all the the products. HORRRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The only pair of the right shade of soft pink delicate rimmed European glasses broke. I found the closest match online & at the uncrowded Florida WP store. Polite well trained staff. They had onsite eye testing. Free shipping to NewYork
Warby Parker plz. Make lightweight pouches for your glasses. Your glass boxes are unreasonably heavy. Im guessing for shipment. End cost for a fresh custom pair$145
The wrong lenses arrive. I returned them when I was in their NYC store. Lots of apologies and promises for expedited order. Text says it will arrive on X date, didn't show! Texted customer service. Can't find them. These folks are lost!
Got a pair of subscription sunglasses for slightly under $500. In under 2 years, the coating on my sunglass lenses (both) are bubbling/cracking, as shown in photo. Warranty is only 1 year. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. The salesperson would not even look at my glasses and was also very rude. Tried calling another store for assistance. Best they'd offer is $30 off a replacement lens. That would cost me another $400. No thanks. Will never shop at Warby Parker again.
I bought progressives, light responsive, polycarbonate coating. $485
They DO NOT respond to transition in lighting AT ALL.
I don't know if it's their coating, but both lenses have a fading going on from the bottom of them. It looks like a sunset or sunrise, whichever you want to call it, coming up. It's ridiculous. When attempting to clean them you get strange"rainbow oil slick" looking circles.
One of the very flimsy and cheap plastic nose guards fell off the third month.
DO not fall for the "gimmick" of ordering glasses from home. This is definitely one item a person needs to buy "LIVE".
Answer: $95-$145 for single vision depending on the frame material.
Answer: Save the heartache and go to a better provider. I ordered progressives and could not see out of them. I went back 5 times and they wouldn't correct the lenses. After the first 3 visits, they made me go back to the Optometrist to check the prescription. I did that, and they still said the problem was the prescription, so I went to another optometrist who also said the prescription was good. When I took that info back to Warby Parker, the said they can't make glasses for me. I asked for my money back and am still waiting.
