Why do your coatings wear off starting after a year. My glasses are now 2 years old with hardly a scratch but I can barely see out of them!

Why did the anti-glare coating become so fuzzy that I can barely see through my 2 year old lenses? Can I decline this coating in the future?

The closest store to me is in NYC which is 75 miles away and a 2hr train ride so not an option.. what info would you need to make sure they are made correctly?
