If you want a 3rd world shopping experience and the same quality of product, then walmart is the place for you.
Other than the basics you can not mess up on (medical supplies, food, detergent, toiletpaper), you get what you pay for,
This is seal of trust and trademark for best and reliable products! I just love wallmart and wish them huge success
Sort of weird. The have so many things so much variety. However, the service is like non-existant. Nobody wants to help.
I recently made a purchase of a 32" flat screen tv, also a wall mount to hang the tv. I changed my mind about hanging the tv. When i tried to return the mount, which by the way is still in walmart original packaging, I was told I needed a printed out piece of paper in order to return it. I advised 2 separate managers that I make purchases online with my phone and I do not own a printer. They advised me that was not there problem and without a printed out piece of paper there was nothing they could do for me. I advised them that when I picked the tv and the mount up from the store I didn't have to show a piece of printed out paper in order to pick it up. They advised me once again that there is nothing they could do for me letting me know that walmart and walmart.com are 2 separate companies. This leads me to believe that a customer will lose out on any purchase made on walmat.com if any paperwork is lost in this process. This is unacceptable to me and I will make it my personal business to advise as many people through as many avenues as I possibly can about the way people are treated when trying to return a product under walmarts so called easy return policy! I have now cancelled my credit cards through walmart and personally refuse to make any more purchases through walmart or walmart.com! I consider myself to be a good customer and always make payments in a timely manner and if walmart and walmart.com are willing to treat me this way imagine how any other customer will be treated. All this occurred in a walmart store o. A Sunday and please keep in mind that I spoke with 2 separate managers one being a female and the other a male. I also spoke with a walmart.com customer service representative who also was unable to help. None of the three individuals even seemed like they cared to lose a customer or five as I do have a family. My suggestion to any other families is to stay away and support your local businesses, because as we all know times are hard these days without having to worry about getting burned by corporate giants. I will be posting this exact email word for word on as many review sites as I possibly can in order to help any other individuals or families make the same mistake I did! Items
It's really our own fault that Walmart and Walmart.com have grown so big so fast yet offer unacceptable service. Once again we have fallen for the "all American" advertising brainwash. Proven and genius, it works every time when delivered with a powerful marketing punch. Ray Crok's Mcdonalds Corporation is a perfect example.
It is truly amazing that corporations (people) are allowed to continue to steal mom and pop's American dream even after being exposed as the ruthless vultures they really are. The corporate strategy is to make you believe you are getting more for less, in reality it is the opposite. We buy into the advertising that Walmart's products are better even when we are looking directly at the low quality merchandise, which in reality is overpriced for what it is, especially given Walmart's huge buying power.
We don't care that the stores are dirty, unorganized, and improperly stocked. We don't mind that we are treated like suspected shoplifters on the way in and out. We don't care about a minimum amount of cahiers, lack of qualified English speaking floor assistance personel, and a terrible return experience. Walmart.com is a completely separate corporation specializing in online commerce that has a handshake with Walmart based on sharing it's Brand and advertising. Walmart.com cares even less about it's faceless customers, all we are is bankcard numbers to be processed, once that happens the rest is up to chance. We are fooled by the notion that Walmart is "passing along savings" to it's customers. Corporations do not pass along their precious profit to anyone, ever! Especially to the consumers from which they made it. Even though Walmart and Walmart.com are outnumbered by competitor quality, price and consistency, the average consumer stays committed because the advertising boasts that all other Americans are, and so it goes.
Had the tires replaced on the Wife's car this morning and did make it a point to get there early as did not want to hang around all morn. The store was called yesterday afternoon and brand, size and price was determined.
The charge sheet invoice cost (including labor) was almost double the price of the tires alone! I made the mistake of not establishing exact price with service writer at the time of purchase/install. There were charges of $10.00 each for balancing the new tire(s) which were removed from vehicle as part of the replacement process. That's $40.00. Then another $12.00 + $56.00 charge for servicing the TPMS system (which is a device mounted on each wheel to notify driver (light in instrument panel) if tire pressure falls below certain value.) The light was on when taken to Walmart, and it was still on when I drove out. There are several possibilities here. 1.- new tires not inflated properly. 2-no work performed but charges made. I strongly suspect it to be the latter. That's another $68.00.
As 3 of the takeoff tires were still usable, asked service writer to save old tires as they are used for many things around the farm. Sure "nuff" they were all piled on top of the spare which had not been placed in the doughnut area designed.
There is an old saying- get me once, shame on you. Get me twice, shame on me. I think I will get torque wrench out and see if "80Ft-LB" stated values are accurate.
Whoops- Wife has already flown the coop in 'newly tired' vehicle and will have to check torque later. It has been my experience that tire shops will over-tighten with an impact wrench which will then require long tire wrench with a cheater bar to loosen. Been there, done that.
All them thangs like to do is cancel orders without explaning why and that is so stupid and this mean they suck, and making all that BIG Money they all so happen to suck &dumb ok.
On October 24th I ordered a bike for my daughters birthday.
At time of order the time of pick up was the same day by 8pm. This is why I completed the order, so I would have it in time for her birthday party.
That evening, Ready for pick up was changed to October 28.
I called the store for three days straight. When you select option 3, for order pick up, the phone will disconnect the call.
When you hit zero for associate, it will ring until you hang up. 3 days of calls while driving to and from work 20 mins. Not answer.
I wanted to confirm the bike would be assembled for pick up, and if not, how would I arrange that prior to pick up. This information was no where to be found on website.
I was able to log into my walmart account and find a chat option, was given another number to call, they informed me the Bike would not be assembled, that that location does not assemble bikes.
However, This same bike along with several others on their bike racks were assembled and ready to go when I was in a few days prior. I ordered this online because it had sold when I returned to purchase it. Due to the large amount of bikes assembled at this store with two isles stacked two bikes high, I figured it could be assembled there.
Now I am told I need to pick u the bike from the Walmart it was delivered to and take it to a walmart 20 mins away and they will assemble the bike there.
However they do not know the days of when someone will be there to assemble the bike. But take it there and see.
I will be driving tomorrow 40 mins from one walmart to another and back and may have to make the trip again, because no one answers the phones and most likely no one will be there to assemble the bike.
I understand is very clear Walmart is no longer customer service focused, however, if Walmart.com could add on the website for bikes and any other items that come shipped the stores not assembled, but if you purchase from the store, it comes assembled, Please add the option to have this item shipped to a store location that can assemble it, and add the option to have it assembled prior to pick up.
Furnace went out the day before -30 temps were forecast (we hit -31), ordered a space heater for in-store pickup today, showed they had 5 left in stock. Nobody pulled my order and it went out of stock. The only "assistance" they would provide is "Would you like me to cancel the order?" There was a skid of them at another store a few miles away. They didn't check for me, just canceled the order and wished me luck with the record low temps. Had to purchase one from the other store and wait 5 days for the hold on my funds to be released. Also lost my online purchase rebate I would have got on the original order. Next I ordered a battery charger/air compressor for a road trip I was planning. They had an offer of $39.99, but when I clicked it the price showed as $49.13. I redid the search, and the $39.99 offer showed again. I took screenshots of this, then clicked again to see $49.13 again. Ordered it for delivery to the store for 2 day pick up, so I would have it before my trip, never arrived. Now they're saying it will be there 5 days later. When I contacted "customer service" I got nothing but pre-scripted replies with no effort to resolve the issue. After reading 3 pages of the reviews here I see that the only reason they have 3 stars is due to a bunch of obviously shilled 4-5 star reviews. And never get a pre-paid Visa debit card from them, it is impossible to contact a live person if there is an issue. If you go online they only have "suggestions" as to how you're probably doing something wrong, and if you call the number on the back of the card you get into an endless automated system that has no option to speak to a live person, and hangs up on you when you try to. I only got a reply when I complained on their Facebook page about it, and they never followed through after that. Going to start using Amazon for my online shopping and Meijer for my local. Tired of suoporting this horrible company.
Ordered online for free delivery items. Price as good as Amaz^&. Got them. Boring as needed to be. Will use again for the right stuff.
Never make an online purchase with Walmart, they delayed my order for a month and then canceled on me... worst place to place an order
Since COVID, the Middlesboro, Kentucky location has been barely stocking the shelves. They cannot use COVID as an excuse because the Jonesville, VA location and other locations around the area do not have this problem. Whenever I go there to stock up on supplies, I cannot because they are always missing on at least two essentials that I have come to rely on.
Also, their food selection has been even poorer than usual, and everything from their meat to their produce has been rotten. I had gotten the very best of what they had to offer on lettuce, and it didn't even last three days until the heads turned rotten. I literally had to throw out bagged, chopped lettuce after a day or two, and their romaine lettuce had rotted through two-thirds of the heads by day two. Not fresh at all! The bagged stuff made my son ill for a night. Nowadays, we go there, and all the fruits and vegetables are really old and rotting, and they expect us to be happy about what they're offering us to buy from them... at full price!
Moreover, we have gotten sick on a lot of the meats. I am on day four of diarrhea from eating their medium-sized shrimp. This is after an incident last year where I bought chicken legs on sale from there, and they were so rotten when we opened up the package that very night, they made us all sick. They refunded that, but with the most recent illness I have had to endure with the shrimp being rotten, the store now has a reputation to us for being a place where they regularly sell rotten meat. Twice and three times indicates a pattern. Anyone who gets rotten food and experiences harm from this store should report them to the health department, like I did.
Avoid this store like COVID. We are going to shop locally from now after on and stop wasting our time and money from going there.
It was Saturday December 18 2021 and I was doing some Christmas shopping around 9pm. As I was getting into the line I had 3 items that were different prices ON THE WALMART APP so candied tells me he can only do 3 price changes which was perfect he calls the night manager to over ride it, she then tells me I cannot get 2 of the same things for there ONLINE PRICE. I then said fine my husband handed me another card to get in line to do a separate transaction, she then tells me she cannot do that for me cause we are IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD. I was in shock 6 months pregnant tired exhausted I just wanted the price and she said that was the policy she couldn't give me the price. I was so upset I started crying. I ended up leaving with only one of the gifts I had plan on getting she was so unprofessional the words coming out her mouth I could t believe. So I go the next morning and the manager patty says she will take care of it which I hope she does enforce something because I would hate for her to do this to anyone else during the holidays.
I love moderno kid, live ride laugh seller. The seller was great and i bouht $500 jeeps. Thanks to walmart.
I wanted to start ordering my dry goods / staples online. I tried walmart.com twice. The first order was damaged because they didn't pack it properly. So I complained and a week later received a replacement order. It took forever because they use Fedex Smartpost where Fedex delivers the package to the post office, and they the post office delivers it to your home. It takes twice as long because it is being delivered twice. So my second order I upgraded the shipping to a paid shipping method instead of the free shipping, but they still shipped it Fedex Smartpost. So my delivery is still going to take 7 days. I called to complain, and they said they didn't know why it happened, but would refund my shipping cost. So not only will my order take way too long, I had to waste of bunch of time calling, talking to people in Guatemala. The idea of shopping online to avoid the hassle of shopping at walmart stores really didn't work out. Walmart employees are the same low quality people whether in the store or online.
Update: I called again and asked the guy in Guatemala to transfer me to someone in the US. I asked the lady if she could reroute the package at Fedex to have them deliver it directly to me as I paid for instead of doing the smartpost thing. Instead she sent me a duplicate order via Fedex. So I ended up getting both. The funny thing is, the Smartpost order arrived a day after the replacement order and had damaged goods in it! So, they still can't pack, but if you call and complain they will send you a whole new order. I joined Amazon Prime, going to try them for dry goods. I don't know why it is so hard for walmart to do it right. They use heavy boxes and good packing material, but their employee does a poor job packing. Then you call and get an off shore operator that can do nothing to help. Again, I think from top to bottom the company just has poor employees.
I ordered a Pilates Bar kit through Walmart.com on July 13th. It arrived last night at my home. It was too late for me to unbox it and inspect the contents. This morning I did open the box and was not pleased with what I found. The contents did not match with what I saw on Walmart.com. What I received in my shipment was the model Q26 WeluvFit Pilates Bar and what Walmart has on its website is the Q28 model WeluvFit Pilates Bar. There is a big difference between the two kits. The Q28 comes with more accessories than the base model Q26. In looking back at the webpage what should be the model number is described as manufacturers number Q26. They give no other information about the other models, so you think you are getting what is pictured on the site. When I tried to leave a review on the Walmart website about this being a bait and switch, I was not allowed. They gave me this message "The user trying to submit a review is opted out". So in other words I cannot submit a review. This is not the first time I have had a bait and switch through Walmart but this is definitely the first time they have blocked me. Most of my orders I have had no issues but when something seems like a scam I will call them on it. This is definitely a scam.
Buyers beware of IKEA products being sold on Walmart.com, ebay, and amazon. They are charging double or 3 times the item price on these sites. Walmart.com, ebay and Amazon are not authorized to sell Ikea items. For example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IKEA-cheese-grater-W-container-lid-food-storage-7x5x3-air-tight-seal-NEW-/*******657?hash=item*******dbe9:g:AL4AAOxyzfNRr8Q0
The IKEA CHEESE grater sells for $4.99 at Ikea. Ebay is selling it online for$11.99.
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/*******/?query=cheese+grater
Walmart is also selling Ikea items for twice to three time the amount of what the item sells for at an actual Ikea store. I work at ikea,. I know what these items sell for at Ikea. These folks are price gouging the public and trying to make bucks off of trademarked items that are they are not authorized to sell.
Before you buy an IKea product from one of these sites, PLEASE GO TO IKEA, COM, OR come into an Ikea store. I guarantee the Ikea product that you want to purchase, will be cheaper purchasing directly from Ikea

Don't buy from online Walmart. It will be canceled before it is delivered. No birthday gift will arrive! Every time!
I have never seen an order packed so carelessly! Two containers of Ajax powder cleanser were crushed, completely covering the entire order with the white cleanser powder. This order should have been packed in 2 boxes at the very least, instead of the one very large box. That box was, in fact, not only too large to contain all the items to allow them to fit snugly enough to avoid crushing the crush-able items during handling, but was entirely too heavy and unbalanced for anyone to handle without movement/rolling of the items inside. By the time it made it to my door, the movement of the items inside the box had pulled open on the bottom corners and a trail of Ajax cleanser made a path from the UPS driver's truck to my door. Train Your Packers, Walmart! The order was as follows...
2 Hartz Diet Small Bird Food, 4 lb bags (covered in Ajax powder)
2 V8 Pomegranate Blueberry, 46 oz. (covered in Ajax powder)
2 Ajax Ultra Triple Action Liquid Dish Soap, Orange - 90 fl oz (covered in Ajax powder)
2 Great Value Juice Cocktail, Cranberry Black Cherry, 64 Fl Oz, 1 Count (covered in Ajax powder)
2 V8 Splash Berry Blend, 64 oz. Bottle (covered in Ajax powder)
2 V8 Splash Island Strawberry, 64 oz. (covered in Ajax powder)
1 Great Value Traditional Pasta Sauce, 66 oz (covered in Ajax powder)
2 Salada Green Tea for Iced Tea Pure Green, 3.39 OZ (both boxes crushed and covered in Ajax powder)
2 Ajax Powder Cleanser with Bleach - 28 oz (crushed-opened)
1 Great Value Peach Slices In Water, 14.5 Oz (dented and covered in Ajax powder)

Answer: Contact to seller on moderno kids good reviews seller. Walmart feedback not working well
Walmart has a rating of 2.1 stars from 4,410 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Walmart most frequently mention customer service, credit card and next day. Walmart ranks 700th among Discount Shopping sites.
