I do absolutely all of my shopping at Walmart for everything I don't go anywhere else and Walmart is awesome in the way they do price match
On june 22 2016 I purchased a pre owned video game from the walmart
In the fayetteville Pavilion in Fayetteville Georgia. Last night on July 13th I was play that same game when on chapter 6 the game froze!
Just stuck still right there.
Had to restart the system in oder to continue to play.
But the game would freeze in the same place.
So I took the game back to the same walmart I purchased it at. The young man at the return desk told me before I ever spoke to him. Before he even made his way back up to the counter that there are no returns only exchanges.
I said ok & proceeded to the entertainment Department to locate the game in question. I looked & looked but there was no other copy's. So I returned to return desk with no game in hand.The young man tells me there is nothing he can do for me. So I say ( bit you sold me a defective game) he proceeds to tell me about regulation and piracy laws. He then passed me to the department manager he proceeded to tell me the exact same thing. I asked him how do you test your used games to make sure your customers aren't buying defective products?
THIS IS A QUOTE: Blurays don't show scratches like regular dvds so it is harder to detect damage. And as you said the defect occurred at chapter 6 correct?
I replied yes.
He said We don't have the time to sit and play the games all the way through to make sure that there isn't that type of problem!
So I asked.
ARE YOU SAYING THAT A CONSUMER PURCHASES AT THERE OWN RISK?

At that time I told him thank you turned and walked out of the store. I will never purchase anything from walmart ever again. BUYER BEWARE!
3 out of 3 orders from Walmart.com were bad experiences when I went to the store to pick up the item. The first one I went to the back of the store to the pick up area and had my receipt on the box and went through the checkouts to pay for some other items and was stopped on the way out the door and treated like a criminal as if I was trying to steal something. They were totally unfamiliar and had no process in place for someone that has to walk from their pick up area in the back of the store then to the front to leave. The next time I ordered something it was too large to keep in their pick up area and when I went to pick it up no one knew where it was. It took a long time for them to locate where they had stored it and when they finally did the employees were frustrated and the whole process was poor. The next and the last item that I ordered from Walmart.com was something I waited for over a month to receive and when I went to get it they had marked the box wrong and they gave me someone else's order. I talked several times on the phone to an assistant manager and he said he would be there the mext day to help me return it. I went back to the store again and had to wait in line at the service desk. I told them which manager I had talked to and they ignored me and ended up getting three other managers instead. I had to tell the story three different times plus what I had told the previous manager on the phone. Very dysfunctional at the store level if you have your item sent to the store. They are not set up to provide customer service that would make me ever want to use them again or maybe it's their way of trying to not have the item shipped to the store.
I LOVE Walmart, and especially shopping online. The customer service through online services are wonderful, and they are always eager to help.
Stores are filthy! Employees are terrrible! Returns are lost! How they stay in business is a mystery to me!

Quick availability of products of a wide selection. Many things aren't in stores and it has become more of a amazon like experience.
I am from the Caribbean so it is not very often that I get the opportunity to shop at Walmart but whenever I get a chance to do so it is usually a great experience for me. Whenever I visit the United States Walmart is usually the place to shop for me. The Walmart where I usually shop is a few miles away, but, I travel that distance because my first experience was great so I always go back to shop at Walmart.
What I like about shopping at Walmart is the fact that you can layaway, this is what I usually do. I work a few months, take my time to pay for the products and whenever my stay is up I pay the balance and take my products. This is great service because people do not always have the money to pay for goods and service all at one time. I hope they still have that service. I haven't been to the US for a while now so I hope nothing changes when I return.
Another service that I love is the very friendly customer service. I am from the Caribbean so I love great customer service and a family like atmosphere, this is what I notice about the employees at Walmart. They are very friendly and helpful and they give great customer service. They are family-like and they treat the customers the same. After a few visits, I was known by a few employees who are always looking out to assist me with my purchases and someone is always available and willing to assist me whenever I ask for assistance. They treat every customer equally as far as I noticed.
What I did not like though was the long line of people returning goods that they previously purchased. Maybe because that does not exist in my country, I am not used to that kind of service. I do know it is not as a result of buying inferior goods because I think they have great quality products. I just think it is the culture of the American people. They buy something and they do not like it anymore so they return it.
Overall I rate Walmart as the number one place to shop whether you live in the States or you are just visiting. I will give up shopping at Walmart for nothing, in fact, I am dying to go to the United States just to shop at Walmart. I shop almost nowhere else for items to take back to my country when I visit the US. Walmart is the place to shop.

I have reviewed this place before, it was a much better review than this one. Talk about a rip off. The delivery guy this time brought some stuff between 9-10am and then I noticed quite a few things were missing. As I'm putting things away about an hour or so later, he knocks at my door and brings some more stuff but again, short on a few items. To make sure, I went on my computer and tools look at the order. $25 worth the products I'd already paid for were missing but accounted for on the receipt. They charged me for those items. So then I started looking at the receipt more and noticed they pulled all of the money from my primary bank card! I was shocked and angry because it was supposed to be taken from my ebt/food stamps account. I have been out of work since the pandemic and living meagerly. I'm behind on bills, rent, and my family is currently below the poverty line. When I called Walmart they knew about the $25 and fixed it right away. It's strange they knew but waited until I called to fix it. Then when I asked them to fix it and put the bill on my ebt card they said they wouldn't do it. When I ordered the order I used EBT and it went worked on their screen and everything, but since the transaction was complete they won't fix it. I have an over due notice on my gas bill and I cannot pay that now. I just hope they don't shut it off because I don't think they are a part of the utilities that are being helpful during the pandemic. If I end up with cold showers and no heater because of this, I'll post another review, but needless to say, Walmart lost my business for good today. You don't take the last money out of a struggling families account To pay a bill that supposed to be taken care of from food stamps, they had my number they could have corrected the situation by calling it, there was more than enough food stamp money in my EBT to cover it. Bad company.
BAD OVER AND OVER... I would select less than one star if it was possible. I had ONE interaction with a rep who seemed to fix the order problem and then to fix the payment problem. So I did a good survery. Then 2 hours later - it all fells thru... order was canceled claiming security issues. But payment company did receive the order - so NO security issue. Issue is with Walmart.com IT issue. Payment company stated they got the order (so no security issue) - but that Walmart did not give payment instructions. Of course I called, they tried to claim 'security issues' but could not explain then how the order went to payment company. Payment company stated they had no issues - problem is with Walmart.com. I called 3 times, tried to place order again and again over 5 hours. Then Walmart.com said wait '24-48 hours and try again. Does that sound like an internet online merchant intending to compete with Amazon? OR keep online customers? With all the 3 hours of followup calls to Walmart.com CS - told finally it would take 'management review' and 24-48 hours. In other words - no one there knew what to do or how to proceed (for one single ecard purchase with a nationwide payment company) ALL ENDED BADLY - NEVER ONCE DID I GET AN EMAIL ASKING FOR REVIEW OF SERVICE. SO HERE IT IS...
When you go to Walmart and this virus the Cronus 19 year is expected to clean your own carts where Meijer clean their carts and you should not be expected to clean your own carts you walk in to Walmart they have spray bottles sitting there and paper toweling and wipes to wipe down your own cart you're just asking for trouble right there you touch that spray bottle and other people are touching that spray bottle that's just asking for trouble you can catch the virus by touching that spray bottle all people are touching that spray bottle and wiping down their own carts by touching the carts you can get the virus because other people's already touched the carts they should have them carts clean and sanitary and ready to go so no other people would have to worry about wiping them down that's just how the viruses spread are you touching dirty cards and spraying the and touching a bottle that you have to spray and wipe down the dirty cards yourself that other people is handled all day long that's their job to make sure the cards are clean not ours Walmart is not doing their job I think they should get on the ball and start doing their job by making sure the cards are sanitary and clean for people what are they getting paid for

Be careful ordering from LVNV Toys. They are a whole seller through WalMart. And while they are located in Temple City, CA, the email I received about an item I want to return is strangely in broken English (like the Chinese scam sites), and they aren't paying for shipping (much like the Chinese scam sites), AND they are charging me a restocking fee of 20% (very much like the Chinese scam sites). So is it worth it to send back a 18.99 backpack when I have to pay the shipping and they are taking money too? I think not. The last two weeks dealing with Walmart has been a nightmare I ordered a intex 22 x 52 pool that was severely delayed with all the parts coming separately, no one updated me on anything and supervisors were actually lying to me. No one knew where my items were. They told me 2 boxes were in route, when I get to the store it's only 1 box. Called Walmart again and now they tell me the freight company inventoried it but somehow forgot to put it on the truck, 5 days later I get the last box. Now Guess what the filter is broken. So I call Walmart again and I'm told to basically return all items because they can't replace the filter because it's a bundle set. No no no. So next Supervisor tells me to re-order the same filter and when it comes put the broken one in the box and tell them it was damaged and that would take two days to come so I ordered this on Monday, June 3 it says two day Shipping and will arrive Thursday, June 6, so Thursday comes no filter and my pool is sitting filled with 13,000 gallons of water that's just sitting there and it's gonna start to change colors I have no pool filter contact Walmart and there's apparently nothing they can do, they gave me a 25 $ gift card, and re-order me another filter that won't arrive until Tuesday that's not sufficient enough they told me that UPS lost the item they can't find the item but this is the second time that Walmart has disappointed me every time I call customer service someone is lying to me telling me a different story of where my items are. Theres no consistency with Walmart especially with the amount of money I that I spend in the store you would think that I was a valued customer but obviously not. So disappointed now my children are sitting with a pool filled that they can't use. Shame on you Walmart
