Changing pharmacy
February 9, 2022

It is absolutely crazy what it takes to get your prescriptions filled. May take days and many trips to the local Walgreens to get it filled. Then you wait in lines because everyone else that did not get theirs filled during the day are in a line. Im done!

I was very leery about ordering from VisionDirect after reading some of the posts. The prices were so good, that I decided to take a chance and I am glad I did. I ordered on a Sunday, received an email Monday morning that there was a problem with my prescription (doctor wrote the wrong year), they contacted the his office and had them send them a correct script. I had my order by the end of the week. I will definitely order from them again.

WORST EVER
November 15, 2021

The WORST. I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes for an appointment that I had made to receive a Covid booster. My husband went to Rite Aide and spent 10 minutes total for the same. Awful. Terrible. Total disorganization, customer service fail, time management fail. Why did I make an appointment when they waited on all coming in for prescriptions before me? NEVER will I step inside a Walgreens again. AVOID this chain as they fail miserably.

Don't bother!

They took my order a week and a half ago, then today cancel. If it wasn't in stock you should have stated that when I ordered. I miss the sale price. It's like that's what you had in mind. I will never order from you again.

I have a lifetime membership with Team National and since Drugstore.com is one of their affiliates, I get a percentage back on everything I purchase from them. I have used them regularly now for several years for many of my household and personal use needs. I like the previous purchased history they provide that allows me to select items that I buy regularly without searching for them again. They also offer additional discounts and coupons on many items that makes this site a no-brainer for me. Although there are some instances where I pay slightly more for some items, I consider myself still ahead since I can shop, place my order and receive it without ever leaving my home.
With all they have to offer, I have found their site pretty easy to navigate and searches are accurate and fast.

I'm always amazed when a website has a "contact us" and then you get a form email asking you to call the 800# that was also listed on the website. Some of us don't have time to sit on hold and wait for a representative. I asked a very simple question about one of their lines of No7 skincare figuring it could have been answered with a simple email. I rather liked their products, but I'll have to find a new one.

I ordered glasses from this 'company' checked the delivery progress and notice that glasses are on backorder (yet they continue to be available for sale) request a refund in writing as per policy - they email saying will refund - 1 week later still no refund - now emails saying they will forward proof of refund - I don't want proof - I want it refunded!
This company is a scam and no one should purchase from them and lose money as I have.

I ordered some merchandise from Drugstore.com. The order was 100% wrong. Not a single item was what I ordered. I repackaged the items and returned them using a return label I had to print out and tock the package to the post office to return it ( they do not use UPS. After a few weeks I received a new package. Again it was 100% wrong. They must have monkeys filling randomly boxes and shipping them.

Worst service I have ever had at a Drug Store. Went through drive through and sat at the window for 20 minutes, no one said a word, Then they said that they could not see us. We rang the bell, they said it did not work. I asked why they did not have a simple sign up to notify or close the window, they had no response. Will not be going back and will transfer to CVS! My friend was just checked out of hospital and needed to be in bed and did not need this!

Last Century Slow

Unbelievable how bad their website was developed, slower than a snail to load any pages. If they're tricking people to download the app, it's as bad as the website and worst because it runs in the background despite turning it off in settings.

This company doesn't let consumer knows when back order will be delivered.
Consumer doesn't know what is going on a back order. Most of the product able to order at Amazon.

I normally order my contacts from a competing website, but visiondirect was HALF the price. So I ordered from them... and then read all these horrible reviews so needless to say - I was nervous. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones because I received my order in 3 DAYS and there are no issues whatsoever. I'll be back.

Medicine shipped

Bin waiting for 3 weeks to get my medicine shipped called Walgreens.com they are very rude and put you on hold and do nothing for you I guess they are also working at home, Don't ever have your medicine shipped!

I really like shopping@ Walgreen stores! Never had a problem! Prices are fairly decent and not too bad, Be careful when you buy electronics there, Kind of expensive, I really like there store's Also one just opened up near my house and i really love that store! Nice neat and organized.

Started using Walgreens site for the Order Online, In-Store Pickup last year and have had no problems. Have always gotten items I ordered and usually at a good price. Did have a problem with getting coupons to work but the customer service rep helped me... seems I had two accts and one was pretty old. After merging the accounts I have had no trouble with coupons or anything else. Customer service was friendly and very helpful.

I check all Sunday ads from pharmacies looking for makeup, vitamin, supplement deals and Walgreens wins hands down. Even when it's BOGO (buy one, get one free), Walgreen's generally hasn't the lowest base price. There are exceptions, but they are few. Often their Sunday food ads show real savings to be had, too. Worth a peek.

Stealing money

I used the online site to do a drive thru pickup order. They never sent me a email with my receipt nor called me to pick up the order and according to their customer service they have no order at all. However they removed the money from my account and have refused to give it back because they can't "find" the order.

With the pandemic I have enjoyed the convenience of online ordering. I understand that I cannot expect quick turnaround times from all sites. I do alot of shopping at our local Walgreens and had forty dollars in points to spend so I ordered items on their online store. Needless to say, I'm not impressed! Ordered on a Wednesday, after 3 days I shot an email to inquire on the order since there was no update. On day 4 Received an email with an invalid tracking #. Day 5 called customer service, after being on hold twice only to be disconnected twice I finally spoke with a person who was unable to give me ANY information. No tracking # nothing. Basically said just wait and don't call them back until Thursday (8days) if I do not see an update. Ugh... now I know...

I am writing about the Walgreens pharmacy at 95th and Cicero in Oak Lawn, IL. If you want to get a heart attack from unnecessary stress, that would be the place to go. I had to call 3 times within an hour to check on a prescription refill, holding for over 40 minutes on the 3rd call, simply because they had faxed the prescription to the wrong number. Went back and forth between them and the doctor, because obviously somebody dropped the ball, and of course no one takes responsibility. Also, those text messages they send telling you to press RENEW - don't bother. That is totally bogus. I did it twice last week, and called in last night, but what is the point? I am moving over to CVS or Costco.

I've found Vision Direct to be slightly cheaper than 1800contacts and the other major competitors when it comes to ordering Acuvue Contacts - make sure you always get at least 15% off and free shipping (there are coupon codes they email out if there isn't an offer on the site itself). Much cheaper than getting them from your optometrist. Only downside is they send you a lot of annoying emails, but I have otherwise found them to be reliable and cheap.
