The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Some weeks ago bought tickets for a concert in Amsterdam for this Saturday 4th June. At that time there were a number of tickets available of different types and from different agents. The concert is now less than 72 hours away. I am extremely concerned that they are duplicates because Viagogo are again listing pair of tickets in the same section and row, as the ones I bought and the concert is sold out. Its highly, highly unlikely that these arent duplicates. Lord knows how many times they have been resold. So, as they ask all buyers, I emailed them my concerns immediately I recognised there might be a problem, no reply. A day later and the tickets are still up for sale. Their guarantee says they will get me into the concert. So far, I have had no indication that this will happen even though they have tickets available on their website for the concert - as they havent replied. I will let you know how this turns out! My trust in their much vaunted guarantee rests on whether they can resolve this. So far they havent even responded to me. I have booked flights a hotel as I am from London. I stand to lose £1000 or 1300 Euro but have heard nothing!
RIP OFF! TOTAL CROOKS! DO NOT USE THEM!
I purchased tickets from viagogo for an event in Mexico, unfortunately, my schedule changed and I could not attend. I, therefore, listed the tickets back on Viagogo in an attempt to cover my costs.
My tickets were purchased and I was instructed to send them to the buyer - which I did. Viagogo confirmed the buyer had received the tickets, viagogo confirmed that payment would be made to me following the event. I waited, and waited, and waited... then I received an email confirming that payment had been made... I WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED TO RECEIVE THE PAYMENT... GUESS WHAT? "PAYMENT FAILED"... no reason given, no details, no one to contact. Template message replies from my various emails to them - my viagogo account shows I am owed $600... but there is no way for me to get that money. WHAT A BUNCH ON DISHONEST CROOKS - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. I WANT THE MONEY I AM OWED. THE TICKETS WERE PURCHASED FROM YOU, SO THEY HAVE TO BE REAL, THEY WERE SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE BY YOU, YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE MONEY FOR THE TICKETS... WHERE IS MY MONEY?
Purchased tickets from Viagogo. Ran a check after receiving ticket order confirmation and ticket ID number.
Email address and ticket ID not recognised by Viagogo.
Tickets bought on 13th May. Contacted company who promised to reply within 48 hours.
No contact.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE OPERATING A TICKET FRAUD.
The tickets I received by email were over 3 times as expensive and just a copy of someone's ticket! At the venue I still got through by going in last in case the person with the real ticket showed up. PLEASE DONT USE VIAGOGO
Viagogo, dont refer me to your customer service - it does not exist! I need a direct line and physical address.
Viagogo wont transfer my money to my paypal account. Multiple requests made
The company needs to be legally persecuted!
I paid nearly 1500 for 2 orchestra stalls seats at the London Opera house. They sent me tickets for the upper amphitheatre, the face value of these seats are £37! I have contacted them 5 times through their website asking them to fix the problem before the performance and they haven't even replied. Absolute scam. Its thievery. Scumbags.
Absolute bunch of thieves. Sent me an invalid ticket and refused a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DISHONEST AND CROOKED
I was sent tickets for an event on the incorrect date. I was then instructed to mail the tickets back and guaranteed new tickets, I did and now... nothing!
I wish I had done my research on this scam of a company before purchasing.
We ordered 8 tickets for the Benfica match. Three days before the match we would receive the tickets by mail. We went to Lisbon and still promised us the tickets to be send to our Lisbon address. A day before the match they cancelled the tickets. Can you believe it. Still in shock! This company should be banned. In Holland me and my mates put bad reviews in on the website Trustpilot and straight after these reviews they put anonymous positive reviews. Please be warned!

My kid is doing 15 this year. As a gift for him, I registered for tickets in FIFA Champions League 2015/2016 final. Of course, I was not luck enough to receive a ticket in their fantastic process of giving tickets to they want. So, I decided to buy the ticket in Viagogo. I bought in advance and asked to deliver in France, where a friend of mine would take them and find us in Milan. I live in Brazil and decided to do this, since the tickets that were from Germany would arrive earlier in Europe than in Brazil. I received the email saying the tickets were shipped in May 9th. And would be delivered by May 11th. In May 11th, the date got change to May 12th and after that it got changed to "no more information". The tickets got lost. UPS that I thought was a reliable company(my mistake), could not allow me to raise a complain, saying that I was not the sender. Who is the sender? Viagogo? No they say that it is a problem to be managed with the seller. Now, I am 6 days from the game and I have no news. Viagogo told me I should contact UPS (really?) and UPS is not giving a damn that it will take a month to find this package, The tickets were very expensive and I have the overseas airline tickets and hotels as well, that are going to be missed. Besides that, there is no customer care in Viagogo. They only say that you should send an email, that is never answered. UPS does the same. You, as a customer, needs to slam their door and find a way to contact them, like you were a thief. I need help and they never contact me. I feel completely betrayed. What should have been a celebration is changing into a nightmare.
I purchased tickets in April 2016 for a consert in Japan in September 2016. At the time I was NOT informed that they would be shipped 3 days before the concert. I am in the United States military and will be stationed at a Japanese military facility during September. I cannot receive the tickets three days before the concert because I do not have an address at that time that they can be shipped to. Any reasonable person would be under the same impression that I was, thinking that the tickets would be shipped within a reasonable time frame after purchase to my current USA address. WHY CANT THE SELLER SEND THEM TO ME NOW? OBVIOUSLY THEY DONT HAVE THEM! There goes $400 in wasted money.
I'm also sharing my personal experience of viagogo as I bought 4 tickets at a jawdropping price of 800eur. Price paid is of course much more than what they re really worth but fine, you decide to pay up if you re really keen to go.
As of today and one month away from the concert, I havent received any tickets despite them telling me that they have been delivered. Their website help is useless, 'copy paste', they keep on asking me for confirmation of my details despite me providing them with everything. I am now taking legal action. STAY AWAT FROM THEM!
I bought to tickets for adele in cologne. The price i payed turned out almost 2 and a half time as much as what was on the ticket. First i was worried about what i read about viagogo. But we went last night (14th of may) to cologne and it was absolutly amazing. We had a great nignt. But i not know if i will do it again like this. Thank you viagogo
Tickets to Australian AFL tickets were totally misrepresented. Wrong section delivered and viagogo refused to step in. They are based in Europe so no phone number to call. Written responses in broken English and I am afraid unprofessional. Viagogo supports scam artists in Australia
I purchased 2 tickets for Rod Stewart in Ireland. Concert date June 2016, I purchased tickets November 2015, I wanted great seats in a covered area, and was charged 826 euros for the tickets. Expensive? Yes but a special treat for my wife. The tickets arrived, face value 96 euros each, and the position in the farthest away part of the stadium from the stage. I revisited their site recently to find that I can now buy 2 tickets in the same covered area for 290 euros in total. Viagogo state that the prices have gone down for this concert,
First off I never write bad reviews. I purchased tickets thinking they were from the main source for desert trip and somehow these guys put a link to them for secondary market sales on the same page at the on sale! Then they duplicate charged me for 8 seats total and over 35K! Ripped off and they won't help me out at all! I'm going legal! I'm so pissed off and they can care less. Mistake!
Can anyone advise if Stephen Roest is still on the board of viagogo, maybe he can enlighten me on why his company refuses to solve my issue?
I paid $2475.38 for sec 100, front and center, but when the payment went through they say row HZ. There is NO ROW HZ! After several emails asking them what does HZ mean they finally told me it would be somewhere between ROW H TO Z.. so Vague! My guess is the tickets are promised by the venue from a pool of tickets that are comps for musicians and promoters.
After research here I learned that Viagogo has a reputation for delivering less than what is promised. Sometimes they may come through. But it is very risky for sold out events. And their policies are tricky. They aim to keep your money and don't care about the suffering they cause others. My suggestion is for people who got ripped off by these shady ticket jerks is to go to your bank or call your credit card company and sign a dispute to the charge and have the bank investigate them and try to get your money back . Credit cards are easier to get your money back. If they are giving you a fraudulent deal then they will get them. I don't trrust this weekend 2 of Desert Trip tickets. The stars are not good for me on that weekend. As an astologer, my prediction is that many people will get screwed by them. And there will be a whole lot of selfishness and aggression at the weekend's events. Aries full moon.
I am sorry I did not research the site before I bought tickets. I am the same as other reviewers I bought tickets for specific seats for $248 and was charged a total of $335. I got the tickets with a face value of $79 each in a totally different area. This site should be investigated by the ombudsman. I keep getting computer generated responses in reply to my emails. It is not clear when you are booking the tickets at all. Stay away from this site and I advise everyone who has been scamed by this site to contact the ombudsman to try and stop this horrible site from operations.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
