I will try to make this as direct only to the company vivid seats as the further complications that arised from vivid seat was more complicated. I had purchased vivid seats market place tickets for a concert. This detail is important since apperantly this makes your ticket a resold ticket and the original purchaser has all the rights to the tickets. The venue changed and I was not informed since the email or notification was sent to the original purchaser for change of venue. When I found out about it, I had contacted vivid seat via virtual chat and they confirmed that the ticket is still valid and proceeded to send me an email about the he changed venue after I informed them Roughly 3 hours before the concert. Upon arrival to the new venue I was told to pick up my new venue tickets at the box office. I was asked ID and I was told that my name was not on the ticket transfers list. I tried to present my purchased ticket and they have told me that they could not scan it and I would have to be on the transfer ticket list. When I opened a case with vivid seats and after many hours of going back and forth on multiple occasions they have refused a refund telling me that all I had to do anything was show my ticket and I would be given entry. Which clearly the new venue would not honor. Every ticket transfers from the old venue was issued new tickets since the new venue for not have the same seating plan and vivid seats confirmed in chat that all 3rd party ticket sales invalidated since I was not in the original purchaser and my name would not be on transfer ticket list and vivid seats still refused to refund my ticket. The official reason was that all I had to do was scan the ticket in which the new venue did not allow

I bought and paid for two very expensive theatre tickets. DIdn't receive them, although I was informed that I had! When I contacted AI, I was first connected with useless AI. I asked to consult a HUMAN and was contacted with some one in India who didn't have a clue but tole me the - he want to assure you that you will receive your tickets before the event! " THERE IS NO RECOURSE

I will never use Vivid Seats again. I received the tickets ONE day before the show. However, they were in a different section. Ticket prices in that section were HALF what I paid 9 months ago. Vivid Seats refused to give me the tickets I paid for. They also refused to give me a discount for the cheaper seats. The customer service rep refused to forward me to a supervisor. Don't buy from Vivid Seats. Bait and Switch.

I had a very bad experience with Vivid Seats. I tried to purchase two tickets for a Beyoncé concert. During checkout, I kept getting error messages saying the transaction failed. I never received a confirmation email or any app notification — not even in my spam folder. Assuming the purchase didn't go through, I bought tickets elsewhere. Two days later, I saw a charge of over €600 on my bank account. I immediately contacted Vivid Seats by email — twice — and never received a reply. After leaving a public review on Trustpilot, Vivid Seats falsely claimed I had received a confirmation email. That is simply not true. I also tried their AI chatbot, which gave no useful help and only referred me to generic policies and ticket resale options. This wasn't buyer's remorse — it was a technical issue during the transaction. Still, Vivid Seats refuses to take responsibility, offer a refund, or even respond to direct communication. I strongly advise others to stay away from this platform. There's no real customer service when things go wrong.

I will ONLY USE SEAT GEEK or STUB HUB in the future. Never a problem or fraud
These were obstructed view tickets that were NOT labeled as such. They were available at the box office at the same time I bought from Vivid Seats for literally half the price and I did not pick them on purpose and paid the extra hundred dollars to Vivid Seats to we could have a clear view. The problem is that it did not tell me the exact seat assignement until day before performance which turned out to be the obstructed view tickest in that section vs the regular view seats in the same section. I did report this to Vivid Seats as a violation - not asking for money back but just alerting them to this tickets purchase issue-lesson learned-on me. They decided to send my complaint to the dead letter office instead of simply acknowledging, apoligizing and promising to address for future potentional customers. It tells me they know exactlly what they did to cheat customers and bloat the coroporate revenue budget line.

Been purchasing tickets from Vivid Seats since 2009; but no more. Tried for 40 minutes to get through to speak with an actual Human Being. Only had but one question that would have taken all of 30 seconds to answer. I shouldn't be surprised; though. Customer Service in 2025 America is all but dead. I'll look some place else to buy Tickets to different events.

I purchased tickets based on best seat availability. I choose my seats and paid what seemed top dollar for them.Tickets were not released until two days before show. Navigating the process to even get tix was confusing. The seats I ended up with were the worst in venue- very last row and tight with no leg room. We could barely see the actors on the stage. I never would have picked these seats. I was so angry and felt completely taken advantage of. Obviously our tix were traded for cheaper seats and resold!

If you are in Canada:

Do NOT under any circumstances use Vivid Seats! They advertise as Canadian dollars and then go ahead and charge it as American and then refuse to refund for them misadvertising!

I was quoted an amount all the way across the board until I went to buy something for my kid nd didn't have the money to do so because the USD conversion was almost double what I agreed to.

I called customer service and showed them the proof and they sad too bad so sad. Our policy is we are an American company and charge American dollars, even if it says CAD, you should know it's USD. That's an estimate, not your charged price.

Because the website does not confirm that an order was placed, it looks as if the purchase did not go through. If you click again, you have just purchased another ticket. No refund will be given even if you call immediately. The website needs immediate redesign to confirm an order was placed and then direct you to check email. I can't think of any website I have used that doesn't do it that way.

Warning - DO NOT USE!

First timer using Vivid Seats (VS). I made an error, I had deleted and trashed the email that display confirming the transfer of seats. I was very patient, I made a total 7 calls to VS, gave them alternative emails, talked to Ticketmaster and MLB Ballpark since VS had requested that they would help me. Both Ticketmaster and MLB told me that i needed VS to resubmit the email of transfer seats so tickets can be displayed on there end. Every time i call VS i had nice people to talk to, but got no solution. Just a complete runaround. Do not use, PLEASE do not use Vivid Seats. I was told even by the other vendors, don't use.

I do not realize vividseat was a ticket reseller and was not the concert venue. The tickets I purchased was double the price of the venue. Within an hour of purchasing the tickets I tried to contact vivid seats but it was Sunday and they were closed. When the opened on Monday I called and ask for a refund but stated the tickets had already been transferred. They are not following their own policy stating that their tickets are "comparable". "We guarantee that the tickets you receive are identical, comparable, or even better than the ones you ordered or your money back." https://www.vividseats.com/guarantee

I tried to sell tickets on this site a few weeks ago. There was a problem with the upload of my tickets, so I called Customer Service immediately after I received an email telling me my transaction had been canceled. They said they could not help me because they could not verify my account after I gave them every piece of personal information I had. I just received a charge for $360 dollars on my credit card. I called their customer service again to have them reverse the charge and was told again they could not verify my account and I would need to dispute the charge with my credit card company because they could not help me. This is a fraudulent company. Do not buy or sell your tickets on this site!

I ordered tickets in Jan 2024, and I could not access my tickets on the day of my event. I called vividseats.com for assistance, and they told me to find the email. The original email was sent on Feb 19th at 03:42 am, apparently, and I did not know that I even had the email. Once I clicked on the link per customer service instructions, I was still unable to access tickets. Long story short, I was on the phone 4 hours before the event numerous times and on the live chat site, and still no help. They told me I just needed to go down to the event and ask the ticketmaster to show my ID. I did do just that. And I was laughed at while leaving the event with no tickets or refund. I was battling back and forth on the phone with vivid seats telling me I got the tickets, and I couldn't get a refund even though I had asked during the numerous calls before the event, and they said I should have tickets. I can't leave messages for managers to call back, the one-vivid seat rep said. Then they said they investigated and found I received an email where tickets were sent, and I clicked on the link to accept. I was on the phone with them when I did it, and since I clicked accept, it's my fault my tickets aren't there; I must have sent them to the wrong email address. Frustrated and beyond mad. They should not be able to sponsor basketball finals or anything if they have a motto of 100% buyer guarantee.

I do not often attend concerts and rarely offer reviews. This is important to me, however. Vivid Seats website was the first to poplulate on my search for tickets for an event. It is clearly listed on the site that tickets are higher because it is a re-sale site. Thier ticket prices for**** in **** Florida were listed at $62 ea. Box office price was $44.50. I assumed, incorrectly, that the higher price WAS the re-sale price; but learned the hard way there are totally hidden fees. Optional insurance is NOT included in Vivid's final total nor listed as a line item leading you to believe that the higher checkout price includes insurance. But, insurance fees show up later on credit card as totally separate charges. A very large service fee also does not show up anywhere in the billing process. It comes as a total surprise and only upon inquiry. Final fee I was charge is $88.38 / ticket times six tickets. They refuse all refund even mere hours prior to purchase and weeks prior to delivery. If you phone Vivid to complain they will hang up. If you chat with them they will provide you with a song and dance, but no refund. They suggested I use insurance to obtain a refund. Remember that the insurance is NOT for this purpose, but only applicable if the event is cancelled. Copy your chat details or you will not be able to access them later. Document date, time, phone calls, everything with hard evidence. They will respond to every communication, including reviews, with sweet worthless words. They will challenge credit card disputes. Only because I keep meticulous documentation including evidence, and fought back diligently was I able to win the dispute with my credit card company for a full refund. I cancelled the insurance separately long BEFORE the event. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I ordered same-day tickets three hours before a show but they were never delivered.

When it got to an hour before the show, I chatted with an agent to ask where my tickets were. I spent the entire car ride there chatting while being assured my tickets would be delivered on time. We sat outside the venue a while, then got checked in through security, still no tickets, still chatting and spending my evening on begging customer service to get me the tickets I spent $300, while I saw other attendees enjoying pre-show drinks and relaxing.

About 5 minutes to showtime --- an hour of customer service chatting --- the agent finally offered me some alternative tickets, five rows back, for the same price. That was my only option, other than just leaving disappointed, so I took it.

The tickets were delivered at 7:28 for a 7:30 show. It was not physically possible to reach our seats in TWO minutes, considering we had to get tickets scanned in, walk up stairs, see an usher, and walk down to our seats.

I spent the first 20 minutes of the show watching on a monitor in the lobby.

After the show, I reached out to Vivid to get them to honor their guarantee that the tickets would be delivered on time for the show. I chatted with multiple agents and was sent through the investigation team and no refunds were offered. I offered to send photos of my watch showing 7:40 while I watched from a lobby monitor, unable to see the show on time because of the late delivery. Nothing mattered.

Apparently, accepting tickets two minutes before the show was "on time" and that means no refunds. I'll never order from Vivid Seats again, as this was an awful experience for me and they did not even come close to honoring the on-time guarantee. I'm filing a chargeback because I didn't spend $300 on tickets to beg to get in and miss a quarter of the show.

I have no product to sell because I never received the product. I called several times to try to resolve and they would not do anything. I am reporting them to the BBB as soon as possible.
