I purchased 2 (expensive) tickets to a show and the link they sent multiple times didn't work. Got error after error message. Over a week and 4 tries with live chat and finally a resolution. Lost out huge as plans changed and had only a few days to resist tickets due to delivery delay. No accountability from Vivid and generally unhelpful and rude customer service. Clearly a company only in it for the fees and not their customer's satisfaction. Never again. Just buy from Ticketmaster and save yourself the headaches.
They've had my money for months, changed the delivery date to the day of the event that's hours away so I just have to hope I actually get them instead if having to turn around and come back. Don't even try them. The customer service is terrible, they offer nothing, one rep suggested I put them up for sale on ANOTHER website (not risking that without actual tickets and putting someone else through the stress I'm dealing with). Trust the terrible reviews. It's a scam.
This has been the worst experience of any company I have ever used for anything. At this point I have spent hours of my life trying to get a refund or credit for a concert they cancelled, as it says they will do in their agreement upon purchase. They continue to transfer and put on hold and then just hang up and do not respond to emails.
Stay away from this service! They charged a $140.00 service fee. When your service is horrible and cost more than your tickets that is bad! We didn't receive our tickets until two hours prior to the event and the location was a tow and a half hour drive for us so we were very concerned we were not getting our tickets. In the end you are better off buying from Ticket Masters or a shady dude with a trench coat in an alley.
I just bought 4 tickets at $282 each. With fees, the total came to $1662. I hit payment and I was invoiced $11,257! I tried a thousand times to recreate this scenario and find tickets at that price, even in the front section and nothing. Tickets in the same section I purchased are still selling in the 2-500 range. Vivid Seats says I knew what I was buying. Absolutely not! THERE IS NO WAY I CAN AFFORD THIS OUTRAGEOUS PRICE TAG. What a scam. Never buy from this site. I wish I had read the reviews. I would give negative stars if I could.
Game, parking was supposed to be taken care of for us as I am handicapped. As we got into the line we've realized we didn't have tickets and since they had a refund policy if we don't receive tickets in the time, they would refund. So I ordered the parking ticket. $54 yes you read that right. Again I am handicapped and I just needed to get into parking. 25 minutes went by and I still had not received confirmation and delivery of my ticket. We were kicked out of line but the only way we could stay in line is to pay cash. Mind you the place was packed. So I paid cash and plan to ask for a refund. They won't even listen to you and they definitely don't refund and their customer service people are rude.
Maybe they have something against handicapped people, I just don't know
Bought ticket to Tenacious D in October for a concert in December. 2 months later in December and I still have not received my ticket. Still says processing but money withdrawn from my account 2 months ago. And customer service won't help. They refuse to refund my money until 24 hours before the show, so I'm basically guaranteed to miss the show and they told me there is no guarantee that I will receive my ticket. Absolutely horrible!
I rec'd an email to get a 10% discount. Clicked through links on email and it would not apply. I ended up calling customer service and she mentioned a minimum however the email does not mention this anywhere that i could find. Clicking through email links I still didn't see it. I spend over $100 on 1 ticket and she claims there is a minimum. I do not see that anywhere either. And WHY would you send me an email w/discount that was not usable bc it was obvious what price point and buying only one ticket? False advertising...? YES i bought the ticket bc as you know, what choice do we have if we want to go to the show. Very frustrating, however, Arden L was very nice. I didn't try to question her more than once as she is just the middle person. :(
Calling back the number and following the prompts for help with an already placed order did not get me anywhere. I had to use the chat button, but I prefer talking to a person over the phone. The issue was resolved via the chat. Now, I am hoping the electronic tickets work without any problems on the night of our event. Richard who helped me buy the tickets over the phone did an excellent job.
Falsely advertised tickets for Red Rocks. Row 2. Used Vivid in the past, pretty straight forward. But now, I will never use again. They ignore, and they suggest they are waiting to hear from the seller, who is the one that that falsely labeled the tickets row 2. I want, and deserve a refund. Nobody responds. Bots through chat is the only customer service. Impossible to speak to a human. They "suggest" a customer service line, but it only takes you right to the the chat. This company does not care!
Typical online reseller, so the general bad stuff is expected as long as you're aware of it.
But we bought a parking pass for $108 (including fees) for a recent concert in L.A. It turned out the lot was over 2 miles from the venue! And the venue had plenty of parking for $60.
When we called Vivid to complain about misrepresenting the proximity of the parking, the customer service agent was a total [insert your favorite expletive here because site fascists dont allow free speech].
Needless to say, we won't ever be doing business with Vivid again.

I verified the first ticket over the phone the day before the event. Your representative said I will receive the event ticket soon. The day of the event no ticket was sent to me after I flew all the way to Germany to make the event. I chatted with your staff online you guys didn't have the ticket. So I canceled that one and ordered another one that said instant ticket which was false advertisement. I had to re-verify for this ticket even tho I did this for the other just one day ago. I'm outside of the event after it started trying to get another ticket and verify not caused I did something wrong. That whole process made me miss most of the event I traveled far just to see.
Looking for Yankees Tickets for my visiting brother and as usual the customer service was outstanding. Justin was Super helpful and fast. I have been with Vivid since 2012 and I have no desire to shop anywhere else. Thank you for always treating me First Class. Your Friend Brian E

I guess this is a mixed review: I received a generous Vivid Seats gift card recently and went online to use it. I chose my seats and got almost to the payment page... then completely hung up. The phone number was right on the same screen (not hidden like some sites) and I quickly got Pedro in customer service. He saw my predicament, locked down the seats I wanted, took my payment info and completely hooked things up. PEDRO is the man, thanks for great service!
Called customer service and spoke with their employee Abel. He solved my online predicament I was by having and calmly fixed my problem and I now have the tickets for tomorrow nights show. Everything was handled in a clear audible friendly voice and Made everything totally understandable and answered the questions I had and I feel much better and can go have a great time at the show tomorrow night. Thank you Abel so much. I won't hesitate to continue my business with vivid
Me and my girlfriend recently attended the Freestyle Explosion show in Tampa. We had 2 morbidly obese people in the seats next to us which forced us to stand almost the entire show. The enormous person directly next to us took up her entire seat and almost a third of one of our seats. Eventually, because of the very uncomfortable nature of this, me and my girlfriend had to leave our seats and go stand at the top of the section for the remainder of the show. Afterwards, i reached out to Vividseats and explained our situation and how it was totally unacceptable. They offered ZERO compensation or anything whatsoever. I basically got a "sorry, that's a venue issue!" Thanks for nothing. Will never use your service again & will advise everyone i know to do the same!
I called vividseats.com to confirm some info before my purchase and I was very quickly able to talk to Chris, who was a HUGE help! I haven't received the tickets b/c it's too early but hopefully there won't be any issues. Seems like a good place to buy tickets.

As soon as I hung up, I had the confirmation, receipt and instructions on how to send as a gift, sitting in my email box. Plus, Vividseats.com has the best prices available for the tickets I purchased, I shopped the competitors. I will definitely contact Vividseats first the next time I'm purchasing event tickets.
