The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Never ever buy from this site, they pressured me into buying me tickets, giving me 10 minutes to put all my details in. It advertised them to be $347 for two tickets, after putting my credit card details in, it said $882 has been charged from my account, after reading reviews I realised I had been scammed considering they go for $110, I immediately tried to get in contact with viagogo and there was no real phone number or any real contact details provided, besides an address that is in Switzerland. After ringing all the phone numbers, one tracked to U. K. Never ever buy from here
I was trying to secure J Cole concert tickets for my daughter and ended up on this site as it was the top of my Google search. I had no idea it was a reseller and it wasn't clear what the final charges would be until after the transaction was completed. Based on previous reviews I don't have any hope of getting the tickets or stopping the payment but will be much wiser in future - stick to ticket sellers that are official or at least reputable.
Please everyone. Wright to your state comptroller and report this company. They are based out of California. International laws may apply in cases of overcharging and withholding of fees..
It's all a scam had to go to my bank to get the money back. I would never use this website again. Worst place ever to get these tickets
My experience using Viagogo in Australia has been very stressful and I'll NEVER use them again. I bought two Bruce Springsteen tix in October for his February 2 Melbourne show on Viagogo, stupidly thinking it was an authorized selling site. Big mistake. The booking fee alone was $199.95 and the seat numbers weren't provided so God knows where I would have been sitting. (Now I realize that's because Viagogo didn't actually have my tickets - they were waiting for someone else to offer them on the site.) The tickets were only going to be 'provided' just before the event. I ended up buying tix to the same show from the authorised seller so immediately offered mine for resale on Viagogo thinking it would be an easy process. I didn't want to rip anyone else off like I'd been but in order to get my money back (and make an $11 loss overall), I had to sell them way over their face value. What made me so stressed was that one, their policy is to pay the seller a week after the event (ie FOUR MONTHS later) ONLY if the purchaser claimed they'd been able to use them successfully; and two, I never got a confirmation I'd uploaded the tickets correctly for resale. When I tried phoning the numbers listed for urgent Viagogo enquiries on the day of the concert (to confirm they'd been uploaded successfully), one rung out and the other diverted to the UK (where it was the middle of the night) and said their offices were currently closed. So, if you want to be ripped off buying exorbitantly priced tickets for unknown seats, selling them without any confirmation, and living in stressful hope of being paid only after the actual event several months later, use Viagogo. I can only go on my own experience with them, but it was appalling and made me feel quite sick I might have lost over $1,000. Never again.
Absolutely disgusted by this web site. Apparently they had a 'glitch' and have robbed myself and many other people of our hard earned money by NOT declaring additional cost and fees! Purchase price: £170 for 3 tickets... actual price £701.71!
No customer service skills, ignorant to emails and tweets and when they do finally reply, they send robotic unhelpful messages. Stay clear of this website!
I am so pissed off that my reduced tickets (£74 down to £60) have actually cost me £173.79. Booking fee £20.90 x2. I booked these in 1 transaction so why x2. Secure postage £4.95 x2 I am sure they will come in the same envelope not 2 separate ones. None of these extra costs are mentioned at all until it is too late to cancel or turn back. I am fuming. Never again will u book through this disgusting company.
Dont use. Use stubhub or someone else. I used stubhub for two tickets and they were easy to use, cheaper and just far more pleasant. VAIGOGO ARE A TOTAL RIPOFF. And stressful booking. DONT USE!
Two tickets were £77 each. When downloaded they were face value of £45 each. But what really pisses me off is that they added £45.68 for booking fee and £6 shipping (there was no shipping). An undisclosed cost. The total came to over £200. Withholding extra charges is illegal un the UK. International action against them MUST happen. Or what is the point of having laws?.
Several things were mixed up in the process of buying and needing to resell and all they did was continuously charge me for things that were in their control and out of my control. I was on the phone with customer service and they just kept telling me that there was nothing they could do
Do not buy from these Criminals, they mislead you into force buying tickets. I bought 2 tickets for ed Sheeran thinking they were costing me £197.32 only after purchasing did they reveal the actual price £547.98! You can't speak to them on the phone, and get blanket emails in reply for refund. Disgusting behaviour, will NEVER use again.
I bought 2 tickets and that was the worst thing ever!
Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!

Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
We bought 2 tickets for Adele. The price quoted did not include tax and then an additional booking charge was added. So what appeared to be a $500 purchase ended up being $800 - no honesty here!
To make matters worse I entered the wrong e mail address and now I cannot get hold of anyone to sort out and to see where and if my tickets will arrive.
The most frustrating experience all round. I would not use this company again.
Next step contact credit card company - but now we will miss out on Adele!
Paid $400 per tickets for adele and when i received them they were only worth$103.95 how does this company get away with this and then also charges $80 booking fee per ticket! Would never recommend this company to anyone. Complete disgrace!
Bought from Viagogo 2 tickets to Jose Carreras. They charged me 120 dollars fee! I bought tickets for Gold area and received tickets in Silver area. Never buy from them again!
DISGRACE, SCAM, THIEVES NEVER USE THIS COMPANY this company want closing down, fraudulent SCAM! No way of contacting them, they are thieves, took x3 the amount of money they were supposed to from me, sent me the wrong tickets are not answering the phone, and ignoring me. Worst company I have ever dealt with I am shocked and amazed that they are still trading.
Total rip off merchants. Paid 3 times price of ticket including the ridiculous booking fee of $ 50 per ticket. NEVER NEVER NEVER again
viagogo do not supply tickets, they just take your money and their hidden charges are about 45 pounds.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY VIAGOGO
STEER CLEAR OF THEM.
Utterly disgusted by what has just happened! Charging ridiculous postage fees AFTER you have purchased the ticket, telling you one price then raking it up at the END of Purchase! Lessons learnt, NEVER again!
They are fraudsters and and they should not be allowed to do business anywhere in the world. I am actually amazed that they have not been shut down. Never, ever purchase anything through them.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
