Viagogo Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

TERRIBLE
March 4, 2017

We purchased 2 tickets to a concert in New Zealand the website said $164 NZ dollars so we proceeded. Got a confirmation email with the inflated price of $416 NZ dollars in a weird Currancy, I have tried mamy time to email them without any reply. We contacted ticketek in NZ as this was where the tickets were issued from. The ticket has some random name so hopefully we will get into the concert. The face value on the ticket is $81 so totally ripped off.
What a digusting company they should be taken down.

Scary
March 4, 2017

This site is very very dodgy and I will never use it again and dont recommend anyone use it. While we got into the venue we know of 5 people that night who were refused entry because the tickets had already been scanned. Pre-warned we turned up before the gates opened to be sure of getting in but even then we were anxious the whole time. Tbe booking fee was outrageous too. I reported them to the ACC who responded that they are already under investigation. Avoid!

Panicked when I didn't get tickets via main ticket outlet and ended up buying tickets from Viagogo. Paid twice the price of the tickets and then nearly the same again in "fees". Now prices on their site for same tickets are reduced significantly. Really hoping that they are valid tickets after some of the other comments I have read. Never again!

Why dont you lot try working an honest days work, oh thats right its way easier this way. Well you know we are coming to terms with the loss and recognize it is no where near as big a loss as for some. Well i hope you enjoy your comfy pillows because it wont be long before you are caught up with. We will quiety celebrate that day.

They give a count down time when you are booking a ticket making you think you will loose chance of getting a ticket, then when you book and see the booking fee it doubles cost of ticket

Bought a ticket through Viagogo, it was refused by the venue as the original ticket (the 'person' I had bought it from via their site) had used stolen credit card details to purchase the ticket originally, meaning Viagogo are effectively money laundering. Appalling (zero) customer support, and had to purchase another ticket at the venue. Avoid these crooks like the plague: parasitic, gutless worms.

Why? Why me?
March 2, 2017

I hate you guys. I hate you guys so much. I bought these to see the ONLY people i run to. My ONLY escape. A day away. But months of eagerness and happiness that I would finally see them face to face, then that eagerness turned into pure rage. You KILLED apart of me. I haven't been that happy since the last time I thought I was going to their concert a year ago. Didn't happen. This was my only chance. Why couldn't you guys just SPARE ME. And for ONCE just ONCE not have to be such evil people. Just stop. Live your life off your own earnings. Just know this, whether or not we know who you are, you've broken so many hearts, created so many tears, and attained so much hate unto yourselves. I hope you can never live with that.

We were led to believe that tickets to see Cirque du soleil at the Genting Arena were in tight supply. Arena was half empty. So why were tickets twice face value? No customer service either.

My father paid AU$2,000 for a once in a lifetime ticket to a Real Madrid V's Barcelona game in Spain next Month. Due to ill health dad can no longer travel. Have been trying to relist the ticket for 3 months but with no luck and no help at all from Viagogo who just hide behind a website and do not respond. Just today we have heard from Real Madrid FC that the ticket is fraudulent as the category of ticket that dad purchased is non existant and Viagogo have no authority to sell Real Madrid FC tickets. How low can you go to rip off a 72 year pensioner. Do not ever, ever buy anything from Viagogo.

Viagogo: FRAUD
February 27, 2017

This has been my worst customer experiences ever. This company is a hub of fraudsters. I was ready to sell my tickets. Their customer service department didn't let me sell them and kept re-iterating that the time was too less. I was ready with a 24-hour courier service which could be tracked but they didn't allow me to process my order. One week later, I discovered that they had deducted 90 pounds from my account without even telling me or writing to me. Their fault and I pay! I kept calling and writing to them but they don't bother to care. Without an iota of doubt, this is my worst customer experience ever. Absolutely disgusted. I will make sure I spread the word about their reality everywhere.

Final price charged was almost 3x that which was given immediately prior to submitting payment. And Viagogo conveniently doesn't do refunds. Avoid this company at all costs!

Old and ripped off
February 27, 2017

Just bought 2x tickets for Leftfield for £62 each (so I thought) ended up being charged £179, how's that work. Ok so I'm knocking on a bit - 54, but what happened to the price advertised being the price you pay? Why aren't these people being pulled up for sharp practise by the authorities. Don't buy from them, there laughing at at us all the way to the bank!

I was looking for tickets to a festival. Viagogo pressures you into buying tickets by making you think that there is a digital line for the tickets and that the demand is huge. In reality they just put up a deliberately slow loading screen. After a few minutes of research, it turns out that the festival tickets are not sold out from the event organiser and that Viagogo sells the tickets for 3 times the original price! I can understand that sold out tickets can cost that much, if not more. But it is outrageous that Viagogol sels the tickets which are not sold out for much more. BEWARE! SCAMMERS! NEVER DEAL WITH!

This company has probably the worst and most un-transparent customer service ever.

There should be a way of making this company accountable.

They have almost 450$ that they owe me and they have completely disappeared on me and do not reply to any of my emails!

Day light robbery
February 24, 2017

Rip off merchants. I will never go near this bunch of thieving, immoral b******ds again.
To add insult to injury my tickets were (eventually) sent to a pick up point 90 miles from my home. Service doesn't get much worse than this.
