The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Bought three tickets to the US Open Final through Viagogo and strongly recommend that you don't us this site. They stated on there site was these were not cheapest ticket available which is not true, a day later I found ticket in the same section row for almost 600 less. They added a hidden fee of more then 1000 dollars on top of shipping and marking up tickets a few hundred each (for what I have no idea). After they rip you off there is no way to talk with them, and you learn all sales are final (not previously mentioned on the app in any kind of visible way)! They can fight with my credit card company, they are totally a predatory site. If you looking for US OPEN tennis tickets recommend using other sites that don't do huge mark up and hidden fee's (stub hub, Ticket Liquidator, etc). I be reporting this site to the BBB and a life long negative promoter while there still in business.
Bought tickets for Peter Kay charity event thinking it was his show. Paid far more than face value this isn't to bad if money goes to charity but they then charged a booking fee of £ 60+ for tickets that should cost 28.00
Gobsmacked to be hit with a sizable 'booking fee'
Anxiety filled when I couldn't contact until the email the very day of the concert
Jaw dropping to discover that I had been manipulated by the "only 6 tickets left" strategy when I booked over a month out and then to go on line again the day before the concert and find their were 16...
Disgusted to see that the poor woman who wanted to shout her embattled family to an ed sheeran concert will not be reimbursed the several hundred percent over ticket price overcharge viagogo lambasted her with. Have a look at what ed's agency thinks of you!
Free market sociopathy or dumb arsed indifference?
Hmm. No brainer.
Never, ever again.

Ripped of, never use this agency. Total disgusted at their shifty seating allocation scam. To pay $129.00 a ticket then get tickets costed at $89.00 is a disgrace. That means I was charged a
Over $ 200 booking fee. I will never purchase from you again and will advise every man and his dog to avoid you like a plague
Bought 3 tickets that were 65£ each. Bill was for £325. No way to complain. No refunds. Just ripped off
I clicked on what I thought was a link to take me to the actual ticket sales of an event, didn't think anything of it and then checked out and realised after I had been charged $71.40 per ticket as a "booking fee" complete and utter rip off and I am absolutely disgusted that this is allowed to happen. So where I should have paid $400 for tickets I have now paid $700 for tickets thinking that was my only option. I am so disappointed in myself for not being smarter, but this should be shut down.
I got suckered by the high pressure tactics of ticking down clocks and tickets disappearing, supposedly purchased. I paid $120 more for 2 tickets than the face value, thinking I was on the event's offical ticket sales site. There are still plenty of tickets available for the event. Fro the "real
Official website. Leaves you feeling ripped off and stupid.
I have just realised that I have been charged £39.50 booking fee plus vat and shipping (it's an E ticket) which equates to nearly £50 on top of the already overpriced tickets. I have tried to contact the company however no response. I appreciate I have paid more for the ticket price as the show is nearly sold out but this is daylight robbery with all the additional charges. I am unsure who to make my complaint too as they won't respond. Has anyone else had joy getting their booking fees back?
Disgraceful paid 4x ticket value says my tickets are in Russian and 3days before event ill receive them, doubt ill get them stay well clear needs to be shut down absolute joke of a site
Snidey website that is so unbelievabley sneaky and quick to take your money, booking and seeing fees are a joke and borderline theft. DO NOT BUY RE-SALE TICKETS OFF THIS WEBSITE.
Appalled by the way we have been treated. I recieved tickets to go see Drake in Amsterdam for my 21st, a week before I was due to fly over from England I get an email from viagogo saying that he has rescheduled for the weekend after and that we won't get our money back but they would 'help' us re sell the tickets. The tickets were purchased at £120 each (not including booking and handling fee which came to £330 in total) and at this point they were only selling for £50 each so we had lost out on not only the concert but £230. To make matters worse drake decided to reschedule the concert again and our sale got cancelled and we were charged £50 by viagogo for reasons we still do not understand. We have now been left with nothing, absolutely furious! When you ring them all you get is an automated voice. NEVER purchase from viagogo they have no customer service what so ever wish we would have stayed well away!
I purchased 1 + 1 ticket for a cricket match coming up in June in UK, (I am from Canada), I accidentally purchased the 2nd ticket for the same game instead of another one. I told them via their contact system for the order and they said they can't refund it, I listed to sell it, the price I am putting is only 225 GBP but when I try to see how much its selling for, its way over 350+, so how come my ticket is not selling? I tried to contact them via their contact order system and they havent replied back. I am not sure how I will get my 1st ticket too? Does anyone know their customer service number or proper email address please
Please do not but tickets from this site. It is a rip off.do not waste your money. They will over charge you
Many people, including my 17 year old sister have been completely ripped off by their unclear and misleading ticket booking process. Instead of paying £277 for two Ed Sheeran tickets, my sister was charged £554! Which she only realised AFTER payment. This has happened to so many people, which i think is absolutely disgusting. Undoubtedly viagogo are aware of this issue and the website is purposefully designed to be confusing.
Terrible, criminal company! DO NOT USE. We are reporting them to Trading Standards.
Avoid avoid Avoid Avoid
We have just been really ripped off, we had the same opinion about this looking like a good deal to get tickets ahead of ticket master release and after hitting proceed they have added another £110 booking and handling charge which is outrageous and they also do not recognise the booking reference they have sent through when we tried to contact them. Bad news!
Sold my ticket, viagogo took my ticket then cancelled the order; keeping my ticket, taking £22 from my bank...
How can a major company be such a con?
Ordered some tickets for a concert in october for this weekend (feb 11th) and been told by viagogo that i have no tickets! They were a christmas present for my son who has been looking forward to this concert. No phone number to ring, and not much of an apology either. Will NEVER use them again
My daughter bought two tickets in mid December for Strictly Come Dancing Live Show as a Xmas present for my wife and I. The email she received from them showed a Ticket Price of £68.99 each, plus a Booking Fee of £40.11, Delivery Fee of £14.22, plus Vat of £8.02, TOTAL £200.33. The tickets arrived today showing a price of £45.00 + £1.50 ( VAT included).
Viagogo are a money making outfit who should be avoided at all cost.
Feel conned by this site, will never ever use it again, state one price, give you limited time to complete, process sale - add loads of extras on top, £450 + turns into £600 +.
What a bunch of cheating sharks and con artists.
My advice, stay well away.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
