Blink 182 - Prague
We have received emails that the concert has been postponed and wait for update. My friend who bought their tickets outside of viagogo received no such information. I called the venue and they said everything is going according to schedule. What probably has happened is that they sold duplicate tickets and were hoping that some people may not show up thinking the show is off. We still got our tickets but we will have to be there early to go in before someone else scans the same ticket.
Don't buy from this lot. Its a complete rip off. The amount you pay isn't fully displayed until you purchase. You are pressured into buying by getting messages saying only so many tickets left. I ended up going to the official vendor afterwards and their was still tickets left. The only way of getting a refund is through reselling your ticket and they take a percentage of that as well. Will never use this site again. Save yourself the grief and don't use them.
This website is scum. They use hacking software to clean out legitimate ticket websites of tickets. Then they sell them at 3-4 times the original price, or more. If this isn't bad enough they then sell the same tickets to multiple people, so many people get refused at the gates. This company is pure scum, anyone who works for the company is doing the devils work, and should be ashamed to the core. Evil owners are sitting in a fat mansion, living the high life off decent peoples hard earned cashed, shame on them. They would rob they're own grandmothers. One day karma will catch up with them.
Bought a ticket for Neil Young at O2 for twice the ticket's face value. The gig was then cancelled by the band. I only found out the night before when I was researching parking on the O2 website. I immediately contacted Viagogo (no telephone number given on their website) by email. No response. I emailed them again and was told that my ticket was not returned to them in time and there would be no refund. I have lost £110. Don't use this site. They are registered in Switzerland so not regulated by Trading Standards. There are literally dozens of people posting on message sites who have lost hundreds of pounds with them.
Bad form Viagogo you should be ashamed. I have yet to rate their conduct but to date they have supplied a rip off service whilst knowingly and deliberately selling adult tickets for an event then supplying child tickets instead. Luckily for Kiwi's we have great service and our local companies put right what Viagogo do wrong. I say ban their servers accessing NZ domains.
Absolute rip off
No tickets and refund came after the concert
Cost me £200 in call charges as I did not know they were international calls to speak to them
I just got through to the ticket purchase stage, twice, said my tickets were held for 5 mins. Went through it all, agreed to pay then told tickets no longer available! Now they've all jumped up in price! Robbing bastards!
Surely their way of selling is illegal. Pressure loaded all the way!
I shall seek advice on this. Buying online has a cancellation option within a few days.
Awful seller I will never use again. I feel completely ripped off!
Bought tickets for Marc Almond concert recently and paid £38 booking fee plus nearly 10 quid for postage. Complete rip off and would warn anyone against purchasing tickets from a company who have such a cavalier attitude to customer service.
If you want tp pay quadruple the price of your ticket and still not get what you wanted then Viagogo is for you.
Paid $130 for restricted view $35 tickets to an AFL game. Will certainly spread the word about this unethical corrupt and dodgy company. What a rip!
My husband bought me Rod Stewart tickets for my birthday. He phoned to book the tickets the minute they went on sale. He bought 2 tickets at nearly £100 each, plus booking fees plus delivery costs. He was pleased to have got me good seats. However, when the tickets arrived they were face value £55. So disappointed. Right up in the back of the arena.
My husband tried contacting them but no one returned his call. He emailed them and just got a standard reply.
We would never use them again and would advise anyone else not to.
My mum bought tickets to see Adele in Melbourne tonight, Sat 18/3/17. We were turned away at the gates as, surprise, surprise... they are fake tickets, bought from Viagogo! Ticketmaster told us they are scammers and the federal government of Australia are looking into banning them from their operations. There is no ticket guarantee, there isn't even an active phone number to call them on, all lines are disconnected!
1. Viagogo will never pay you after you sold your tickets and you can never get back your money.
2. Based on the attached photo, you can see there's bundle of rubbish replying you with scripts.
3. Viagogo will keep saying they already paid you but they will never show you the proof of payment.
4. Even after I provide my bank statement to them and their customer service agreed that I do not receive payment, they will still not taking any action. This is SCAM!
Don't buy tickets from Viagogo. They are a scam website and they will take your money and not deliver on the tickets. Their customer service is outsourced to India and they will delay and deflect requests for a refund. Viagogo has several legal actions being taken against them. Stay away.
Just 5 minutes after the purchase i understood that their tickets are 3 times more expensive than everywhere else.
And i saw that the date of the match on their site is also mistaken.
So i tried to call them, sent a plenty of emails - no answer for many days.
After some days they respond: we will not cancel your order.
Their site is an absolute scam! Stay away!
I'm really embarrassed to have fallen for these scammers. The site looks professional and tricks you in to thinking that tickets are selling out fast. When you eventually commit to paying a 'high' fee, you are then hit with a hidden additional large booking fee. I tried cancelling my order immediately, but they have so far refused. I can't believe sites like this are allowed to exist. I hope the authorities eventually catch up on these crooks.
Do not use Viagogo. Tickets did not arrive when stated. Numerous calls to customer services. Changed tickets to e-tickets in the hope that they would be sent out immediately and reduce the risk of further delay. That didn't happen! After reading the reviews I was sceptical about whether I would receive the tickets at all and what should have been an enjoyable trip away created a lot of unnecessary stress. We received our tickets on the morning of the evening event. If I could have scored Viagogo no stars in this review I would have! In addition to this Viagogo charge considerably more than the face value of the tickets. Use another provider. I won't be using Viagogo ever again. Lesson learned!
A show was listed as a concert by The Who, (which it was not) along with a picture of the band. There was absolutely no mention that this show is actually local musicians doing covers of The Who's music. I have screenshots to prove this.
The show in question Is now about two weeks away, and the Viagogo has admitted this misrepresentation was their fault do to a. "mapping issue", they have stonewalled me on a refund. Soon I'll have no choice but to put the tickets up for resale and get whatever compensation I can in return. Avoid this site if you can. They are not accountable for their mistakes!
Please never use this company, you will pay on average 3 times the face value for your tickets and extortionate booking fees.
Customer services are of no use when dealing with them and only ever give you bog standard reply and options to sell tickets you don't even have!
It cause so much agree and upset to people, please see Victims of Viagogo Facebook page. They will also give you invaluable advice in your case against Viagogo which sadly you will most likely have
Purchased 4 Garth Brooks tickets at $275.00 which was emailed to me and took to concert to find out they were fake tickets. Real tickets were only $80.00. We went to 2 different lines and pretty much got the run around then sent to Customer Service to find out that we were duped. How disappointing after driving 4 hrs., reservations for a motel, etc. Along with our fake tickets I brought my printed receipt for proof and I think? That is why they printed us real tickets and left us in, or I had an angel with me. What a rip off! Currently they are being sued. First time buying tickets on line. I will do my research next time.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
