The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

They are thieves! I went through a purchase process until they finally displayed the price total (which was more with 60% than the initial price). Obviously I hit cancel. Guess what, they still charged my debit card and now they refuse to give me back my money.
SOLD ME TICKETS PROVIDED ME WITH TRACKING NUMBER KEPT ON SAYING YES SENT YES SENT. I WRANG THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER *******2109,
GUESS WHAT NO TICKETS THEY DID NOT HAVE THEM THEY THEN SAID THEY WILL TRY TO FIND TICKETS FOR ME TO COLLECT ( THIS IS FOR A EVENT WHICH IS 20 HOURS AWAY AND ORDERED THE TICKETS 3 DAYS AGO.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND THE PEOPLE ARE IN THE CALL CENTRE ARE NOT EVEN IN THE UK.
Told me they will redirect tickets to my buyer from the seller, but didnt and I ended up with unsold tickets before the concert and had to pay extra "seller charge"... meaning an extra fee, and my tickets being unsold...
It charged me £148.80 for tickets that I bought £49 from Gigantic.
The ticket price was more than double and then there were added costs such as VAT, Booking fee, handling fee.
We're so devastated by this horrible experience. Went all the way to the arena. Stood in the long line in the cold. Only to find out at the security gate that someone had already used our Chris Rock tickets. I hope that a**hole dies a horrible death. It's just not right to put innocent people through this kind of devastating scam. We paid $440 for those tickets which was more than the actual ticket prices. But all sold out so we bought from viagogo without knowing our horrible fate. The worst website ever. I hope viagogo gets hacked and wiped off the face of the cyber planet.
I paid way over the ticket price for 'Category A' tickets and when we got to the venue found that they were in fact 'Category D - restricted view' tickets - they don't answer phones or emails they just duck for cover under their great impenetrable hi-tech system of ripping everybody off. Don't be a sucker like me, make sure you go to the other ticket guys.
If i could rate them negative i would. Bought tickets for Adele's final concert but could not go. Tried to resale through the site weeks before the event just for my tix to arrive at my house a week before the event? Mind you i live in california and was wondering why did they even send them. Found out i paid 4 times the face value! Still, was sent an email a day later saying i could send them back no charge and i could relist on the site. I hit the link to start the process just to see that the date is too near to resale the tix. I bought 2. I'm down nearly $1000 after this whole experience. NO ONE to talk to live. It's all down through preselected email q and a which never really address your issue. HORRIBLE SITE! HORRIBLE COMPANY! I wish i had done more research on them before i spent money.
My Hubby ordered Race course tickets from them 6 weeks before the event, 3 days before we were due to go, they sent an Email cancelling the purchase and just put the money back in the bank! No Explanation and we had family coming for the day from far away, time booked off, hotel rooms booked, disgusting.
We bought rugby tickets for the South Africa vs France game at Emmirates Park on the 24th June 2017 when we arrived at the stadium we were not allowed to enter the gates as the tickets we purchased from Viagogo were FAKE!
Made a buy for tickets to Arroyo Seco event at the Rose Bowl on April 24th, 2017
The week before the event - no tickets.
Began emailing them, no phone # on their website, got same bull_-_- answer all week about vendor was sending tickets.
No tickets ever arrived & they have stopped responding.
Based on reviews here & other sites - a TOTAL SCAM!
Searching for tickets nearly always brings you to Viagogo when a big even sells out quickly. Somehow they always have tickets available but you will pay up to 4 times the face value e.g. £200 for £50 ticket. It should illegal to do this to the artist and the punters. STAY AWAY!
Vastly inflated prices then no chance of a refund if the day is changed for your gig.
The sites and others like them should be shut down by the government.
Will never use them again and warn others not to use them either! Thought this site was reputable but it was only the day of the event (after I had left to travel to the event) that I got an email saying the seller had uploaded the wrong tickets. Received new ticket link too late. Arrived at arena only to be told my ticket was not valid. Filled out ticketmaster.nd form to validate this but there is no way to submit a complaint to viagogo - just a help center that is no help at all as contact link is not a link!
Total rip off! Tickets cost $650 instead of $200 thru other sites! Save your money and use a reputable ticket agent - not these scammers. :(
Charge me DOUBLE what the tickets were worth, charged me $90 in fees for 3 tickets, for a half empty game that they said tickets were selling for "so fast," Also, getting the tickets was highly inconvenient, and they would not let me resell because their system is foolproof for not actually letting you resell your tickets since they don't provide you with any sort of tickets until about 2 hours before the game. Also, the time on the tickets was wrong by 3 and a half HOURS. Horrible site, do not buy from here ever.
This is a scam! You cannot take GoodWood tickets because they cannot be resold!
Not only you do it but incentivate buyers - who have been scammed - to do it to others.
I have an email from "Paul" and it will be taken to the ECC.
This is a total scam! Avoid at all cost! I sold tix through Viagogo. Got an email AFTER the event that the sale was cancelled. I'm out both money and ticket!
Now they have sent me SOMEONE else's tickets to U2! I can't get through to anyone! I will go early to the show to get in and feel really bad for the poor guy whose tickets they sent to me! NEVER AGAIN!
Just received a casual email from Chloe of Viagogo telling me that the tickets they sold me are not actually available. Yes they say they'll give me a refund. Great. What they won't refund is the flights and hotels I've also booked.
So they took my money for 2 months for tickets they had no right to sell, then 2 weeks before the gig, way too late to make other arrangements, they finally come clean and admit they never had any tickets to sell.
Please stay well away from this company. Don't make an expensive mistake like I did.
Don't buy from this site. They charge inflated which are not reflected in the tickets. It's a rort. I bought 4 tickets to Hans Zimmer's European concert and got whacked with an extra 24 euro per ticket.
I am utterly disappointed. I bought 3 tickets to see the Stone Roses for my mum and her friends. After countless weeks of me reassuring my mum that these were from a legit website I had to wait until the day before to relieve my e-tickets which were promised no later than 3 days before the event.
I phoned the number on Google which is listed as a Swiss hq. Turns out it's actually a London number.
The woman I spoke to was very helpful in telling me that my seller couldn't upload the tickets on time so they were searching for some replacements. This was my first time hearing this news, 24 hours before the event, and considering I received my new replacements (which were in the exact location of the oldies) shortly after, it's just seemed like an excuse.
The email stated that I now had to pick my tickets up from the venue with no information about how to go about this exactly. So I wrote back with some questions which NEVER GOT A RESPONSE and printed off my email with my listing I'd and order number and gave it to my mum to pick up her tickets. In doing this my mum was informed that the tickets were INVALID and they COULD NOT ACCEPT THEM.
Again I phoned customer service to a very helpful woman who informed me that there is a different order number with the replacement tickets and that's why they were invalid. However there was absolutly no evidence of a new order number on any of my email receipts. They woman was incredibly apologetic about the fact that no one answered my email which would have resolved the issue before it had become and even offered to look for some last minute replacements so my mum could still enjoy her present. Her attitude and service was absolutely great regardless of my disappointing experience.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
