The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Their system does not work they do not return calls and they are billing me twice for the same tickets
This is non american site and their technology is terrible
I went to the Coldplay concert in Miami to my disbelief I could get in because someone else used my ticket... I paid almost $400 for a ticket and traveled from another country just to watch my favorite band play... I tried to contact them for a refund but there is no way to do it...
Viagogo shame on you ripping innocent people off. I paid $1139 and $37 booking fee for tickets that were meant to cost a lot less. I still have no tickets! You respond to my emails with vague responses. You sent me two tickets with a different name on them and in a different seating area than chosen. I chose front stage you put me in bleaches. The tickets I was sent cost $203 mmmmm bit of difference. When I complained you took tickets down from my profile. I have no tickets now and I will do everything I can to let the world know how disgusting you. Everyone needs to avoid Viagogo like the plague... SCAMMERS to the MAX
We believed Viagogo to be an official site to sell tickets for The Royal Military Tattoo. After being rushed with false advertising claiming high demand tickets, 3 left etc... we purchased them online for an exorbitant price and fees, three times face value (we found out later). Our receipt read level 5, when we went to pick up our tickets, they were in level 13 and the people at the viagogo pick up location could do nothing about it. We arrived at the venue and were told our tickets were invalid and already used, that these tickets were illegally sold by someone other than an authorised seller of The Tattoo tickets.
I have been contacting Viagogo with all my back up and they refuse to reimburse me for two invalid tickets at a cost of $500.
These people make themselves uncontactable, I lost £60 in a matter of minutes. They charge exorbitant booking fees and after giving you the option to opt out, they still put your purchase through. When you can finally get an email through to them because they don't provide a phone number, they say "too bad, we don't do refunds, but you can sell your ticket to us and lose another £50 in the process". They should be closed down.
Avoid Viagogo. They'll present you with a price and then at the very last step they sneakily add an enormous surcharge on. On the bill I was presented this surcharge made the ticket almost 50% more expensive than the price presented up until that point (they'd been making a big deal of a £63 cost vs £70 others were paying for similar tickets, then charged over £90).
The sale of tickets is deceptive. It was not until the end of a long ordering process online that it was revealed that the tickets I was buying were for standing room, and I did not see that information when I entered "purchase." There was no service when I learned of the situation. There is no way to telephone Viagogo. By email, they advised me that there is nothing they could do to change my tickets. They offered to resell the tickets but that never happened.
Website makes false claims about ticket availability. Tickets are ridiculously over-priced and company refuses to comply with statutory distance selling regulations which are designed to protect consumers from the practices adopted by this company. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Learn from the mistakes of others, including myself, stay away from Viagogo. I initially purchased tickets thinking I was going to save some money because the initial price for the Spanish Supercopa was going to be cheaper than other commonly used websites. I purchased two tickets for around $200 each and then all of a sudden when the purchase was finalized, it showed I paid $800 because of their hidden fees. I tried to get a refund and they said I could only sell it. This was frustrating because we were going out of the country to Spain to watch it. I tried to call and I couldn't get through because it wasn't three days before the event. I had to email them and a lot of the time they would reply with a standard, non-personalized email that gave generic information. Eventually we received e-tickets two days before the event because the actual tickets didn't get sent in time. It was nice they sent us these e-tickets but we honestly didn't get our hopes up until the tickets were finally scanned because of past reviews saying that tickets have been fraudulent. The price of the tickets were well below what we paid so I would say no-no to Viagogo. Poor company that only cares about transactional sales instead of building relationships. I'd be surprised if they were in business in 10-15 years. I will never purchase from Viagogo again.
Site keeps changing prices to fake prices to maximize their profits. Most of the tickets sold are not even real, I'd really suggest to avoid this site.
Selling your ticket on this site isn't a good idea either, it takes days before your ticket gets verified and most of the times it doesn't get sold because they manipulate the prices and no one wants to pay for them.
It is official that Viagogo are often selling both fraudulent and invalid tickets to ill-informed customers.
Customer service is non existent, and its pretty evident (e. G Ed Sheeran tickets) that Viagogo are in cahoots with well known ticket tout cartels and underworld figures.
They're quite an informal setup, which seem to cower behind an FAQ page and unknown place of business (i'm guessing its a small room above nail salon with a constantly ringing telephone).
Overall, they give you that feeling that the person on the other side of the transaction is sitting on a deck chair in Accra, Ghana.
Feel very sorry for all the people out there who were conned out of money by these cyber bandits.
Piad for tickets months in advance and they still failed to deliver them on time for the event (even though the event was not sold out) - the most frustrating and disappointing experience! Don't use this platform.
If you want to make them pay just search for ticket sales, ed sheeran presale and even "got to love you" and click on the ads. Approx $3-14 per click! Don't bother clicking more than once per keyphrase as it will only charge them once.
I purchased tickets for Ed Sheeran in San Antonio the screen said section F3 advised they would arrive 3 days prior to the venue and the two tickets would be together. I received 2 parking tickets for 10.00 each and had paid 127.65. The description said concert tickets and F3 came up highlighted on the screen where it shows you where you would be seated. Parking was not mentioned anywhere. The invoice came and said lot 3 not section F3 and they will not refund my money or do anything. They only respond via email and have no customer service department. Do not get burned, go to another supplier and make sure you can download your own tickets.
AVOID AT ALL COST
AVOID AT ALL COST - Awful company and customer services.
I purched 2 tickets@ £365 start to get worried as it was the week before the event and still no tickets or an email.
Spoke to viagogo every day from then on, for them to tell me seller had not been in contact I then had to wait until 2pm the day before the event for him to maybe get in contact.
They then confirmed they had to cancel them and find alternative tickets.
Exactly the same things happened.
It is now the day of the event I am £365 down and still no tickets, I have now had to request for them to be cancelled and request a refund even though it was them who told me they cannot find me alternative tickets. I then have to wait for this to be approved and I am now trying to purchase a set of tickets for the event elsewhere!
We arrived early to the Tattoo with tickets we had bought online from Viagogo. We were admitted and took our seats. However, people arrived with Tattoo issued tickets for the same seats and the ushers told us that our tickets were fraudulent. We payed more that $300 for two tickets.
I have not received a response to several inquiries regarding my lack of receipt of payment.
I have not been paid yet. Customer SupportSalesOrder ID: *******
Please respond.
Complete fraud. I bought tickets in belief I was buying premium seats at the Royal Albert Hall, to receive them showing the original ticket price was less than half what I had been charged. Fee if £74, plus numerous others fees and additions, for what exactly. They give you false impression tickets will sell out there and then. Complete con, no stars let alone 1
Used Viagogo for the first time, what makes it worse is that it was also my first time buying a ticket for an event. They put so much pressure on you to buy the tickets. They give you an unreasonable time limit, they show you an unrealistic amount of people that are viewing the same event as you, you don't even have time to read the information properly. There are so many hidden costs and terms and conditions, its actually just a scam. I feel like This website practices unethical procedures and it does not insure its customers of any safety when buying or selling their tickets.
DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!
They charged me 240 euro for 3 tickets with a face value of 40 euro each. They stated that there would be uninterrupted views-there wern't. They used unethical methods in their marketing, telling me there were many people waiting to buy tickets, only so many tickets left, only so many minutes to complete the purchase. This is pressure-selling, and deceptive. I will tell everyone I know about what they did and will never ever use them EVER again, It's actually painful for me to have to give them even 1 star before I can post my review.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
