In case of cancelled event they send you 1 email that you can request refund and if you don't respond in 24 hrs they will send you voucher so you can buy different event at different time. I bought tickets for Oktoberfest 2021 in Munich. The event organizer announced the event cancellation on May 3rd, 2021 It is now May 13, I have called and emailed 8 times asking for a refund and provided proof from the event organizer that Oktoberfest 2021 is canceled. They are refusing to refund me. I also never received tickets since the event is canceled btw. Viagogo does not follow their posted refund policy and does everything possible to keep your money. Horrible Customer Service! I bought tickets for an In This Moment concert which was set for may 2020 and it has been MONTHS before they processed a refund, apparently they do not have the technology to do this like the rest of the technological world. And now to get a refund I have to either have PayPal - which i don't - or save my banking information on their site? If they can't process a refund why on EARTH would I give them my banking information to SAVE? I tried calling and can't reach a human - my order ID is no longer valid and they just hung up when I put it in. I will never be using their services again and encourage others to do the same as they just want to keep your money and not help you at all.
I paid for tickets and they sent tickets from the last year. They said the tickets were still good and refused to send me tickets with the correct date. I was driving 8 hours and get a hotel to go to a concert that had the incorrect date and year! This company is a scam! Do not get screwed like I did.

I bought tickets for a festival due to take place in 2021 from Viagogo. I have just realised I have been charged double the face value (when you take all the "extra charges" into account) which is a grossly unfair and unreasonable premium. I requested a refund and they are refusing to refund me. They really shouldn't be allowed to do this to consumers. I would not recommend that anyone deal with this company.
Here a lot of random places and dates, but the tl; dr is that they have been somewhat efficient and very committed to getting me my money back.
I live in Hong Kong, and I -VERY RELUCTANTLY- bought tickets in July 2019 for a concert that was going to be in Japan in March 2020 (Note: I bought them from the page, not from a random user). Because of COVID, it got cancelled. Knowing that they were second-hand tickets I had little to no faith in getting the money back. However, they sent me an email immediately asking for the tickets back and saying they'd send me the money. They gave me an address in Taiwan, but because of COVID and bureaucracy, I needed the name and ID number of the person who was gonna receive them. I didn't have it and it was the last day of their deadline to return them, so I gave up again (in my head, it was money spent almost a year ago and it was gone forever).
A week later they called me and told me they were curious about what had happened. I explained the situation and actually thought the tickets were lost. They told me to look for them and gave me a new address to send them to, now in Japan.
I was finally able to do it and they offered me either credit or the money back in my account. I couldn't believe they were gonna refund the whole thing, no service or transaction charge whatsoever.
Admittedly, I did have to navigate through a somewhat confusing webpage at times, but I am happy to inform you that 13 months after getting the tickets I got all my money back!
I honestly rarely write reviews, but they made such a good job, and they actually made the effort to pay me back and called me, so I thought I would return the favour. Also, every person that contacted me either through the phone or email was super kind and nice!
Do not buy tickets through this company. My event was moved from Las Vegas NV to Arlington TX due to covid. They have refused to refund my $$ for the venue in Las Vegas. Whatever you do do not buy tickets through this company. The tickets are overpriced and they do not have permission to resell tickets for lots of the venues. This means that even if you are lucky to actually get your tickets, you may be refused admittance to the venue. I spent nearly 700 pound on tickets for this year, the event has been cancelled but the tickets are still available for NEXT YEAR! I requested for a refund and they told me i could not have one as the event as been postponed till NEXT YEAR! Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
