I have been trying to organize bridesmaid dress for my husband to be's daughter who lives 200 miles away and thankfully with their quick dispatch and returns, the task was not so daunting as I first imagined. We finally have a dress now that she is very happy with. Thank you very much!

Don't buy from Venus

Ordered jacket in mid October and still waiting!

Tracking says shipped but always says location unknown/unavailable.

Sent 5 or 6 emails to Venus. Haven't had a reply to any.

No customer service. Slow delivery, perhaps even no delivery, I am still hoping my item will arrive.

Do not buy from Venus. Try BooHoo - great customer service and super fast shipping!

Bait and switch

Placed order for several items for my wife. Stated all was in stock. Order shipped but after it arrives they inform me the matching bikini bottom was sold out. Attitude of person dealing with me was so what. I will not be giving my business to them any more.

As for your pitiful response... your apologetic that my experience with you was less than exceptional? Are you serious? I have asked the postal service about tracking and it seems that you're about the only people in the world who can't get their act together - in this day and age of being able track just about anything, anywhere - who can't manage to continuity of tracking through various delivery services. Your apology is worth about as much as the virtual paper I'm typing on. Not only did I not get the items I paid for, I had to wait for my refund. Talk is cheap. How about you shut up shop if you're not prepared to be reputable traders? Obviously I'm not the only one who has fallen foul of your sub-standard morals and ethics (and clothing, from the reviews I've read). Thanks for nothing!

I ordered two items in what I thought was plenty of time to receive them before a very special occasion, i. E. 36 years as a couple with my (now) husband. No tracking details were provided so I had to ask for said details. I wasn't given one, nor was I given the details about the postal service used for delivery so that I could contact them, directly, in an attempt to locate my goods. I was stalled a couple of times after that, including promising a refund (since there was no point in re-ordering my purchases... the time for it to be of use had passed!). Despite a promise that my money would be refunded immediately, I had to contact them some time later to ask for my money, again. Is this part of a scam where people's purchases mysteriously disappear only to re-appear as items sold on eBay by unscrupulous thieves? If so, YOU NEED TO RE-SEND ME MY ORDER, FREE OF CHARGE! Never again will I be sucked in by what I thought was a reputable company with awesome clothing for sale at reasonable prices

Happy!

Ordered two bathing suit tops, one bottom, and a romper. Came before the expected shipping date! Everything fit wonderfully. I personally did not like one top once it was on my body but that was my own opinion, the top itself was beautiful. I will be returning it. Venus made it super easy by placing directions and a slip to send back. I will order again! I do wish they had cheeky bathing suit bottoms seeing as they only have moderate coverage.

Been a customer for years and just received an order in today's mail. #1 they sent me something I didn't order. #2 their size Large apparently is now for a woman weighing about 90 pounds. I've always ordered size large from them in the past. The sweaters I got won't even fit my kid! So disappointed. Everything is going back. Such a disappointment!

I returned a $22 item because it did not fit and use their prepaid $6.95 return label. They deducted that plus an additional $12.95 for shipping! So now I was refunded just over $2 for a $22 item. I will never order from them again. There are so many other options out there. Plus the bathing suits are nice but the clothing is total crap quality

Below Average Stuff

Ordered from them several times for many occasions. The clothes are below average quality. A lot of times something looks good and I get it and it looks like pure polyester. They will let you return for a fee or if you put the money on a gift card kind of deal they will do it for free otherwise it is between $7.95 - $8.95. The sizes are all over the place I'll order the same size and it will either be HUGE or to small there is no in between. Models look stunning but I certainly do not. I did get a really pretty dress for a rehearsal dinner that I am pleased with everything else has gone back or just isn't worn. I probably have spent enough with them and learned my lesson and will not buy from them again.

I'm honestly shocked to read all the negative reviews. I ordered 3 items with the overnight shipping (had a promo code). When i promptly received the package, i noticed 1 item was left out. I emailed customer service and within 5 minutes I received a polite response. They apologized and had my dress shipped out using overnight shipping again (no charge for that). My outfits fit perfectly. I'm 5'5, weighing 142 and got everything in a medium size. Even the sizing for the bikini was spot on. I will definitely be ordering from VENUS again!

Disappointing!
March 21, 2019

I placed an order for five dresses according to their size chart. Two of the dresses fit several sizes larger than the size they state they are. Two are cut so badly the neck line is off center on one and the other fits a 2 on the bottom and a 6 on top instead of form fitting as the photo suggests on the site. I live in Canada so custom fees cost me $60. Returning items is out of the question as they only contribute up to $10 on return postage. I did receive my order in 10 days and am happy with 1 of the dresses. $260 later and I'm not at all impressed.

Love my orders!

I read a lot of bad reviews and hesitated before ordering. However, my sister got the most beautiful dress from them for my birthday and I absolutely loved it. I decided to place my own order and everything came very quickly. It looks exactly like the picture and fits perfectly. I ordered couple of dresses, a skirt and a bathing suit and all worked out well. The only thing I was not to pleased about is that you have to pay custom fees for every item. What seems like a cheap deal, after calculating the dollar exchange and custom fees, its not so cheap anymore.

Purchased a bathing suit which was on back order for about 5 months. Every time I checked it was back ordered to a further date and I was not ever notified. When I finally received it I had to pay another $30 for duties to Canada. Hated the bathing suit. Felt cheap and didn't fit as expected (or based on reviews). Returned it and have been going through quite the hassle to get duty money back. On top of that, Venus charged me shipping to return it even though I paid for it myself and I still have no received a reply where my shipping money refund is (months later still inquiring). Would never buy from them again.

Beware with this company. Their design and pictures look great in their catalog, but in reality, the quality of the overwhelming majority of the items I purchase was well below expectations. I purchased 5 tops and 3 dresses. I returned all but one dress. Unfortunately, my refund was much less than what I paid since they deduct shipping when you use their return label.
I will never buy from Venus again.

Never had a problem

I can't believe the bad reviews for Venus. I've been ordering from Venus for years and have never had a problem. I did return something once and the customer service person was helpful. I always read the description twice so I know what I'm ordering. I've recommended Venus to a few of my friends and they've been happy as well. Unfortunately, they don't have free shipping. Please remember this about shipping - when weather is bad, the length of shipping time is usually longer than normal depending on where you live.

"I absolutely do recommend them" I have ordered a total of seven times and 15 dresses. My packages have always been delivered before or on time. The dresses fit me Perfect. If I could say one thing about the dresses they are so comfortable...

I loved almost all the pieces I bought. A few I didn't like in but that is what you get from ordering on online. I would have I orally given a 4-5 star review, but within the past 6 months 3 items have fallen apart! I sweaters whole side just opened, 2 different tops the straps just came off. They are not well made and didn't not hold up over time.

I had not ordered from Venus and was very skeptical, especially after reading some of the terrible reviews. My order arrived in a very timely manner, I was more than pleased with the 5 dresses!. They fit my figure perfect, true to size. The colors, vivid bright. For The style, price and a trendy look you can't beat it!

Horrific
July 25, 2017

Venus were once good but are now totally hopeless. Not sure what has changed in the last 12 months but now any orders I place either never arrive or end up arriving months later at a local courier and not at the post office.
I have sent back orders and they don't credit my account properly and when I send an email to query they say they have no record of the order.
Don't go there, this site has gone down hill at a rapid rate. Never again!

The quality is extremely low. Walmart has better quality. The 'shipping fees and returns' are a huge headache. They add a '$6.95 shipping label', but you end up being charges way more... The return system is tricky in order to milk more money out of you. Do not use that label, ship via USPS on your own---will be cheaper.

Almost all my clothes are from Venus. Through a little trial and error, I found I wear Medium in the dresses and blouses, and Large anything that is sweater material. Customer Service has been very accommodating and professional to me, when I made a mistake with ordering the wrong size, or found I didn't like the item. I even had the main office call me, and make sure the item was corrected. I have spent maybe close to a $1000 so far with this company. I don't understand these negative reviews, because I have been pleased and happy with my purchases. I get so many compliments every time I wear a dress or blouse from Venus. This is a legitimate clothes company based in Jacksonville, Florida, and have been around for many years. To each her own! I give the 5 stars! Love Venus!
