Lies on top of Lies

UPS will take address change requests and wait until the day of the delivery date to process them causing delays. Once they do this they will lie multiple times as to why the package is delayed. Lied on the sender and said they submitted the address change on the day of (Sender's office is closed due to Rosh Hashanah), lied about a delivery attempt (arrived 3 hours after the alleged attempt), and finally lied about the receiver's name being incorrect(my name never once changed). Multiple lies continued after these major three but they finally gave a partial truth and said the address change was finally processed. Something that they are responsible for.

How this major company is still functioning and they are constantly lying about simple info, along with not delivering packages is absurd. Can't even blame the pandemic for this poorly operating organization.

Can you trust ups?
To lay it down as it is no you be better off give parcel to a chimp from a zoo a a-z and bus fare it will get there quicker and in one pice

Untrustworthy

This will be the third time, this month, that I have had a package scheduled to deliver and out for delivery. Only for it to be scheduled for another day, because UPS can't figure out how to deliver packages when they say they are going to deliver them. Businesses that use UPS over FedEx will get less of my business.

This is the worst courier service with a lying customer service centre and the worst tracking details. The delivery people do not even attempt to deliver at people's residence and they want all couriers to be collected at the depot. Luckily i saw the ups truck standing close to my residence, i knocked on the door and asked the delivery person to give my package which i was in follow up with them for above 14 days. If i had not done the needful, the deliver person would have escaped with the package. I am not sure but this can be further investigated if they have a true intent of delivering people's packages or they have an intent of keeping the packages for themselves.

I had horrible experience with UPS and I'm still having it... Avoid them, there is no service from them given. THEY NEVER DELIVER THE PARCELS.

I bough some clothing online the the parcel was sent trough UPS. They say was delivering on friday between 11:15 - 15:15... At 12 more or less it was a message on the taking details saying no access to the premises due to a missing code, like I'm living in private area... there is a bus stop just in front of my door, just one day before I've got an argos delivery, I'm getting deliveries from different delivery companies and no problem. Also there are passing luton vans and lorries passing by all day long... But the are not able to complete the delivery. At the end after one week calling them and making complaints I had to go from Acton to Kentish town to pick it up myself to the depot...

Now second round coming and seams the same problem... I had to get it delivery on friday last week and again same problem. But now I'm not able to go an pick it up myself and as is a heavy parcel, and I do not have car to go and pick it up myself. I don't know what do I'm going to do, as call them it does not change anything, is just a big waste of time and nerves.

If you don't get your mental health down trying to get your parcel delivered, avoid this company under any circumstances. I couldn't as was the seller who was choosing the delivery company, but I defenetly will contact those two sellers they sent me the parcel through UPS to let them know how is the no service they are not providing.

Where Do You Think You Are?

Prompted to review due to what I can only imagine is incompetence on UPS part. How does a company repeatedly inform you that you have a package arriving by a certain time (so you arrange to be home to foil the ubiquitous porch pirates) and then inform you at the 11th hour that your delivery is suddenly delayed THREE MORE DAYS? I call BS. It only took three days from the point of sale.
That said, my real beef is with the stupid, apparently Illiterate drivers who ignore a simple instruction (which I always put on the first line of "address") as to where to leave a package so it isn't advertised as being available to anybody who wants it; e.g.: "SIDE PORCH BEHIND CHAIR," to the majority of their rocket scientist drivers reads: "PROP UP AGAINST WELL-LIT FRONT DOOR". I live just outside a major city, within the city limits, in an area that is about as far a cry from a gated community as possible. I call it The Less Murdery Part Of Murderville." How do these geniuses miss that?

I rest my case…

Worst delivery service
September 16, 2022

Literally the worst delivery service. UPS person came to my house to deliver the package at 2:00 but it needed a signature. Why would an adult be at home at 2:00 on a weekday? Of course no one was home so they kept the package. They are not going to try and deliver it again until FOUR DAYS LATER. I've already been waiting for a week and now the package is just sitting around somewhere at a UPS warehouse a few miles away. I was thinking that I could just go pick it up myself so that I didn't have to wait. Not only does it literally cost 12+ dollars to pick it up MYSELF I wouldn't even be able to pick it up until FOUR DAYS LATER. I know that my package is literally just sitting around somewhere so why can't I get it. I could just go find the truck thats driving around with it jesus christ. This is so complicated for no reason it should be that difficult. UPS sucks

I ordered expensive electronics from Costco and after being delayed 5 days already, they lost (most likely stolen) my package. Then when Costco replaced the item, it says it's been out for delivery all day and its currently 8:30pm. I've checked again and now it's gone back to "on the way". They don't even have a real person you can talk to when you call their customer service number, they tell me different things through email and instagram DM. I need this package for my small business and they've already cost me 2 weeks worth of sales. I've never had an issue like this with Canada Post, this has been the most frustrating experience, I'll never work with them again if I can help it. They are a SCAM of a company. I never write reviews like this, but I can't even begin to explain how much distress they've caused me!

Stupid ups

I don't want to give even 1 star. People want to live peaceful please avoid ups.
I received package. I received the email pay import fee. So I tried to pay import fee through online what link they provide. But it didn't going through. So sep 8 th Thursday 2022 8.32 am I called customer service I paid what amount showed in the link. It shows in my visa. But I didn't receive any package delivery. The next day Friday also I didn't receive. So again I called customer service. They spoke sweetly and said today you will receive. Friday also I didn't receive. Saturday and Sunday holiday. Again Monday I called customer service. Again they spoke sweetly but nothing in action. They said today you will receive. But Monday and Tuesday no delivery none.in my house around security Camera shows nothing like delivery attempt. Again again i m getting repeated email pay import fee. Again again customer service I confirmed I paid import fee. I don't know what is going on. What they expect me to deliver the package. 4 timed I called customer service No one telling anything simply speak sweetly today you will receive. But I didn't receive any. May be they are expecting any bribe to delivery the package. I paid import fees and delivery fees. What else they need I don't know. People working in ups are all brainless people. In my life time I never face this type of problem. This is my first time involving with ups.
Because of this I undergone.
How much pressure. Still I didn't receive package. I wonder may be they send again to sender. I m tired of calling customer service.

If I won't receive my package my only prayer God has to eradicate this whole ups from the world.

This is my real experience. You ups guys never improve anything. This simple thing 4 times I called no result none. Why guys asking others what we have to improve.

Let down repeatedly by a completely unreliable UPS (who used to be good?)
As a business customer shipping regular stock to Amazon FBA I have paid and arranged for UPS to collect and deliver several separate shipments over the past few months.
The collections were all paid for and confirmed by UPS but then UPS failed to collect each of three separate shipments on the arranged day with no notification given. I had to call their customer services the day after the shipment should have been collected and UPS then arranged to collect them the day after that. All were collected 2 days late.
Then the final straw - My last shipment was not collected at all despite calling UPS on three consecutive days! It remains uncollected and is now a week late! I raised it as formal complaint with UPS two days ago. UPS then promised that someone would call from the local depot to rectify the issue and collect the shipment. Nobody called and the shipment remains uncollected.
I have now given up.
UPS are 'partnered' with Amazon and I'm sure Amazon and more importantly the many other businesses that sell on Amazon and use UPS through Amazon are also not happy with the way they appear to be letting business customers down.
UPS have cost me time and money and are negatively affecting my business.
There are others complaining of similar issues so I am not alone.

I filed a UPS damage package claim resulting in discussions with 5 different UPS representatives resulting in no closure or reimbursement. The UPS process doesn't allow and/or has blocked the receipt of documents (photos, receipts, invoices, and etc.) via the online damage claim dashboard, email, USPS mail, and Fax even though I have a claim number and paperwork in hand from UPS. Two of the representatives confirmed the claim was approved but no closure, reimbursement, and/or return phone calls from the UPS Claims Department as promised. Remarkably, I even received a email as if the claim was completed or processed from a Joe Farrell, VP Customer Experience UPS, asking for completion of a survey on how my claims experience went. There is no silver lining in the UPS Claims process. It is nothing but smoke and mirrors. DO NOT SHIP WITH UPS.

Package was sent to the wrong state and took 3 days at least for them to correct it. 2nd time this has happened in the last week with a UPS shipment. Very hard to recommend using them... surely won't again.

Very late package

My package should have been delivered yesterday (Friday). According to their website it was out for delivery yesterday. Then it was sent back to the processing center (in town) to be resorted. It was at the processing center at 8 am today. Their website says that it is now scheduled for delivery on TUESDAY. I called UPS and was told that someone from the processing center would call me. No one called. I called again. I was told that it was scheduled for Tuesday and nothing could be done about it. Even if I paid $7.99 to go to the processing center to pick it up myself, I could not pick it up until Tuesday. This is no way to run a delivery company.

Everything has been so wrong with my UPS experience that I don't even know where to start this review. My story begins when I decide to ship six packages with personal items from Colorado to Georgia. Five of them arrived with clear water damage, and the sixth was lost inside the UPS warehouse in Atlanta (!). Some UPS employees told me that several packages from different people went missing at the same warehouse and they suspected theft, others suggested that I should forget about recovering my items. One employee from Corporate even said, "I would never ship my own stuff through UPS" (I feel you, bro!).

I decided to try to recover my items, making more than 150 unsuccessful calls to different UPS departments. Beyond the fact that speaking with a human using UPS phone service is a challenge by itself, their support was completely useless. The Claims & Damages department kept telling me that a claim had been filed by UPS but that it was "slower than usual", and they asked me several times to describe one or two items of my package to see if they could find it in "lost & found" but didn't give me a chance to send them a list of items to e.g. an email address. I think they were just trying to cover their backs. I know from UPS employees that they do a warehouse cleaning twice per year, so they are certainly able to recover items in their facilities. They just don't want to do it: it's not a profitable activity.

My package was delivered from a UPS store in Boulder, Colorado (1630 30th St A, Boulder, CO *******), so they were the only ones able to see and interact with the online claim. I made 40 phone calls to the store over three days: they didn't pick up the phone in 30 of them, and in the other 10 they just picked up the phone and didn't say anything while I was clearly hearing the noise of the store in the background. I left several voice messages, but they never returned my calls. Finally, one morning someone picked up the phone and decided to help me: I sent him my invoices to at least recover my items. This was 2 weeks ago, and I haven't heard back from them yet. They owe me +200 USD, but let's be honest: this won't even be close to the personal value of my items, which in some cases have been with me for over 20 years.

I am part of an organization with thousands of employees and a budget of billions of dollars, and I've decided to move all my shipping operations away from UPS. This is the last time you fool me. I'm sorry: you had your chance to do things right, and you wasted it.

Driver said he delivered a package to our house lol bull$#*!, wife in living room with the front door open I was cutting the grass, no delivery, the driver said he hand delivered it to us in person! All lies! Will never use UPS again, don't have a phone number where you can reach a live person. UPS sucks

What a $#*! Show

One can see why the Share Price is tanking! The CEO should dust off her résumé.
She outsourced the entire customer service dept to a Third World Country/Call Centre where 10% of the staff, by their own admission, don't even know where Canada is.
As per their APP, you can change a delivery address if you're not gonna be home, however when you do this it doesn't actually take. You will get a notification that it took, and you can screenshot to confirm it took, you can even talk with a human to confirm the address it's supposed to go to, BUT don't expect it to go there.
And if the shipper wants your signature, don't worry the driver, will sign for it and just leave (allegedly) it at your doorstep.
When it's not there when you get home there's a document you have to download and fill out so they can try and find the package, it takes up to eight business days for them to try and locate it and then when they can't good luck getting your money back for the loss of product.

The worst shipping company ever! I've been waiting for my package for 3 days. Every time they send me a message " sorry we missed you " I'm at home and no one even comes next to my door. The last time I received a message "we missed you again" I was sitting in front of my door for 2 hours! Please, stay away from UPS.

Going forward when I purchase online I'm asking which shipper do they use and if it's UPS I will not place an order. I've never experienced such horrible customer service the reps are dismissive and don't care to problem solve. It's hard to get your package left. They send you through unnecessary hoops to receive your package. I've requested followed instructions to request the package be left and still ignored and to add insult to injury i now have to travel to another city just to retrieved it. NEVER AGAIN. I'm so pissed SMH.

Do not use them I live down a dirt road and they are to lazy to come down to the house, about a half a mile they left my perishable package on a large trash can by the road in the rain! More than one time
