I purchased a number of items (not cheap) and the package was never received. I inquired multiple times and they refused to do anything. They just said it was sent and whatever happened after that wasn't their fault. I was unable to get anywhere with fedex who they used and the customer service still wouldn't help. They wouldn't answer any emails after I had spoken with fedex. Will never order from them again. Never received my items and still got charged.
I bought a red and pocka dot one. I am 5' 9 1/2. Im a 3 8D breast size, small waist long legs, long torso. The waist comes 2 inches from my boobs. Cant wear it. Doesnt fit. So i gave to my daughter... Big frown... Clothes are always made for short girls... Cookie cutter...
My package was marked as delivered by FedEx the day they picked it up. After FedEx assured me it was on its way and would be delivered on time, it didn't come. I called again and they said it would be investigated.
I emailed UV customer service and notified them of the situation. I was messaged back and told me that FedEx had scanned it as delivered when it was picked up and because of it, had been delayed. They let me know that it was now on it's way. I recieved the package later that day. (FedEx never sent me anything or let me know what had happened.)
I will definitely do business with UV again. Customer service treated me well and the dress I received was lovely.
I'm not sure where to start. I ordered three items and paid for expidited shipping. 5 days later I had to contact them because my order hadn't even been shipped. The told me, "so sorry, one of the items isn't available right now" and refunded just that item and shipping fees (btw, I looked online and that item says it is still available). The other two items still haven't shipped and I've had to contact them again to give me the rest of my refund. I would not trust this company in any way, and I will not be doing any business with them in the future.

The bust of the swimsuit was too large--so big that I had to wear a shirt to cover the gaping hole. Also, the bottom rides miserably up the butt. Couldn't wait till the 2nd day when I could use a different swimsuit.
I couldn't be more thrilled with the customer service at UV. I made ordered the dream dress I've wanted for months. I somehow entered my email address incorrect when I placed my order. I contacted customer service and Maura helped me fixed the mistake. When I got the dress it was too small. Again customer service to the rescue! Maura again took care of helping me get the return label to the correct email and helped make the exchange seamlessly. KUDOS to you Maura and UV all together! The girl gets her dream dress <3
Ordered 2 dresses for my wife. They are in split orders because... dom, dom, dom, I ordered the wrong size. The first dress has came in and it is stunning. It was the Care Bear Party Swing dress. I couldn't be more happy with the dress. Good quality and wife loved it. I had to contact customer support to change size of other dress and was met with such kindness. I will definitely be ordering from them in the near future. Over all my experience with them was some of the best I have ever had.
They charge 7 dollars for shipping under 150 dollars for clothing--which is among the lighter/cheaper to pack parcels, yet they ship FedEx SmartPost from California... SmartPost is one of the slowest if not the slowest economy shipping one can use. CA is one of the worst places if not THE worst place to order from in terms of shipping times. So--enough said. I'm not impressed by that and I've lowered my star-rating in accordance to it. I understand a small-scale ebay seller doing this to save money but I find it greedy from a larger-scale website.
I've been a retrophile for some time. I love the selection that UV offers, and with a wide variety of price points. UV is my go-to for special event dresses and accessories. They always have just the outfit I need to stand out and make a lasting impression. I've started buying UV for my work attire too. Every now and then they have flash sales (like a $25 dress sale that totally emptied my bank account). The more expensive dresses tend to have sturdier construction compared to the $25 dresses, but the quality of the cheaper dresses is still pretty decent. I don't expect to get a $125 dress for $25. I must admit that the sizing of the brands they carry is extremely inconsistent. I'm so grateful that they always provide sizing charts so I can pick the right size. I'm a huge fan of UV and always get tons of compliments on my outfits. Thanks, UV! XOXO.
Penny, my customer service specialist, went above and beyond in my opinion. I was so frustrated I threatened to shop elsewhere, and some (nowadays most) support specialists would gladly say good riddance; the fact she instead went the extra mile to make me smile means everything - plus the clothing styles are AMAZING.
Just got an email from Unique Vintage which goes:
We are writing to you because of an incident at Unique Vintage. On September 14,2013 we discovered a data security incident that involved some of your pesonal information. Unique Vintage is Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council ("PCI") compliant and implements the latest measures reasonably possible to protect its customers' sensitive information. However, the very sophisticated data breach concerning this incident involved malicious malware that was siphoning customer information from Unique Vintage's website from approximately January 2012 until September 14,2013. The information breached contained customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers and credit card numbers. No other information was compromised.
Will never ever use them again!
Beautiful dresses that feel like they are tailor made to my shape! Hard to find when my measurements are 46/42/55 hip. Very pricey as 2 dresses came to $187 with taxes and shipping costs but when I tried them on I almost cried bc I found items that FIT and made me feel beautiful! I am 256lbs and these dresses served me well in that they disguised my FUPA!
I ordered a dress over a week ago. Called when I had no notification of shipping. Was told my item was backordered and won't be available for 30 days. This was a Halloween themed dress so that won't work for me. I was not notified in any way that it was backordered. I was told it is on the website. It definitely is not listed as such on the mobile site as I just checked it. I suggested they do better with customer service and email customers this info. I was retold that they list this on the website. Not the best service. I was charged the full amount plus shipping. Am now waiting for my refund. Plus I now receive daily ads from them through e-mail!
I bought the eggplant flirty cotton swing dress for a wedding. Although I do like the dress, I don't think it's worth the price. The material feels cheap. The description claims that the bodice has "boning" but it does not. The zipper in the back is cheap, and really hard to zip up, even when it's not on you.
The dress was also much longer than pictured. And even though I got a slip that's two inches longer than the slip they show in the picture, it was not long enough to show through on the bottom (like it does in the picture).
I tried posting my review on the website, but it was never approved. Apparently they'll only allow a review if it's a good one.
Shipping was very fast. I like that they have unique dresses on here, I just wish it was better quality for the price.

I had a mix up with my order, it somehow got placed as a pickup instead of shipping. This wouldn't be a problem if I lived in or near Burbank, however I live in Pennsylvania. I emailed customer service about the mix up, I received a prompt response WITH a tracking number! Wonderful customer service and I will be ordering again!
I'm a regular e-commerce shopper and I was hesitant to try a company I had never shopped with before. But I fell in love with a dress that was on sale. I couldn't find my tracking number for delivery so I emailed customer service. I wasn't expecting a response, but I was extremely surprised that within minutes I had a response from a real person and the link to my tracking. I'm a pretty thick girl. I ordered some clothes. 200 dollars worth of clothes and not a single thing fit. Not even close. The shoes were also 2 sizes to small to what it was suppose to be. All the clothes fit like it would be a 1x and I had ordered a 3x. For the price I would expect it to be closer in size but it was so far from the real deal that it was sad. Why can't chubby girls have cute things as well. Really sad.
I had a wonderful experience with this website! I ordered my grad dress on Monday and received it on Thursday in perfect condition. When I first looked into ordering from this website, I wasn't sure because there were a few reviews about the security of their website not being trusted, or their employees not being very helpful. To avoid these problems I called their number and ordered online through the phone, (telling them the code number of the dress etc...) They were extremely helpful when ordering and really quick!
I recommend ordering over the phone to reduce the possibility of the security breach.
Let me tell you, I got home so excited to see my goodies, after working what felt like a million years this season (retail) and I couldn't find it anywhere.
I checked tracking and it said chantilly Virginia (WHERE EVEN IS THAT) I live in Alabama (not so close). So I took a screen shot and sent an email with it (I honestly was so tired I barely remember doing it, reading back I could have been more pleasant, but I wasn't mean. Just confused lol.
These gals emailed me back in a great timely fashion and said i was given the wrong tracking information on accident, and provided me with my correct tracking. You ladies are wonderful all the time! And you made my confusion go away with your prompt response time. I can't wait to receive my items!

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
