Booked flight with them. Got 1 ticket instead of
2. Never seen booking number of second ticket.
They claim they booked it and airline canceled.
But I checked just after 5 mins after they say tickets issued. Spend 5 hours with support and 2 days. No resolution. You better pay a bit more and use other service. Not recommend to anyone, don't waste your time. Support is highly trained though

Had an experience where due to site mulfunction requested flight date was converted to a wrong date. Purchase was canceled from my side - what else one should do, but as the ticket was non refundable, company does not take any responsibility in this case and had refunded out of total purchase amount only 0.80. Lack of professionalism, customer care, responsibility and what else not. Torture for months… Trip.com - avoid in large scope.

They have the worst customer service, rude, misleading, inexperience and the system is so inaccurate.
Have been trying to get a flight cancellation refund for more than a month and as of today they haven't submitted and I don't even know if they will refund the money at some point.

I booked a 4-night trip to Las Vegas and found their rates are really the cheapest on the internet! Well, I had to sign in and get the rates as it was a sale for multiple days and offer to returning customers. Then I realized that I needed to stay for another night. I asked the customer service whether I may enjoyed the same daily rate. They responded quickly to me explaining why I couldn't but also offered me with what they have as the greatest value for the 5th night. Well, it's not their hotel, they are just an agent. Sounded reasonable to me. Checked in, stayed, and checked out. No problem at all. Love ya,Trip. Com

Lame service especially out of your country

We get excited for the cheap prices at first. But if you make the mistake of buying from them, and something goes wrong with your bookong, then the customer service is really bad.
My case, I booked a flight. My reservation included two different airlines.
The first plane was late, so I lost the other 2 from a different carrier.
I was stucked in a another country because they DID NOT HELP ME. They said they will refund that money, and they did not.
I had to buy a new ticket to continue my trip.

1 star is gained here for ease of website use, making it quick to process and take my money upon booking, but as soon as the flight got cancelled they have made it virtually impossible to get my money back as promised at the time of the flight being cancelled.
The reply emails are nonsensical and extremely frustrating, evidently written using google translate as the writer seems to have no knowledge of English language which is not the writers fault but it is almost impossible to make sense of/ relay a message through. I would strongly advise you avoid booking anything though trip.com unless you enjoy throwing money in the bin. Side note,(This was NOT cancelled due to covid19)

Overall a good app, gave me better hotel room rate than others including what direct booking with hotel can offer.

They offer price match if we can find cheaper prices online. They could be even better if they have contents of more travel attractions.

Fraud company

I booked my roundtrip with trip.com and for some reason airline cancelled my booking after week so, I contacted trip.com and ask them for refund. After few days I got email from them saying airline is only offering vouchers and not cash refund so, I contacted airline directly and they told for given booking number we process the refund and it's cash refund. I was in total shock that how can someone do this short of scam and try to take money from there customer. I asked trip.com's customer service agent multiple time that it's not possible that airline will give vouchers if they cancel the flight but they're keep repeating one thing that we can't do anything it's airline who is liable for refund and it's airline policy.

I just want to say one thing please don't use trip.com for any kind of booking else you will pay double amount at the end.

This company is a horrible, beware

Trip.com is the worst company you will ever encounter in your life. You will regret big time if you book anything with them.
Most irresponsible, illogical people. No professionalism, make you feel like you are taking to a wall.
Booked flights with them, had to cancel my plan for some reason. They refused to cancel so I contacted the airline directly. Airline immidiately cancell3d as per my request and issued the travel credit for full amount to trip.com as I booked through them.
But this company kept on refusing the travel credit to me.
Spent hours on calls with them, every time new representative torturing for same illogical reasons when they can see clearly on united website that credit has been issued.
Sick people here sitting and torturing the customers.
This company is a scam.

More than useless

Worst travel agency ever, useless doesn't begin to describe how useless you are. 4 change request and always different excuses. A 16hs flight turns into 32 and I am supposed to accept it. Typical company policy of expeting client to give up on their request because they are tired of wasting time.

I had a booking that from 2020 and I requested them since June 2022, to change the open ticket to a flight on August2022. They said there was a problem issuing the tickets but then they are not doing anything to resolve the problem. Every problem has a solution, if it can be solved, there is an alternate resolution. You just dont drag an issue for so long! I already gave this company too much of my patience! They are treating the customer very poorly! Please resolve my issue and dont ignore my emails!

This is a scam people get the word out! Site needs to be shut down! Have called many times and now block my phone call. When the call goes to Q they pick up realize its me and hang up! Have called many times over 1.5 years no answers! No solutions! They are click bait!

Paypal did not work twice which sometimes happens so I entered valid credit card info. Site seemed to accept it, then immediately canceled. No phone help available. Site chat is fake. There is no chat. I spits written statements for you to accept that may have nothing to do with issue. Then it just told me that I had a problem with my bank. Immediately called CC company to make sure no charge actually went through but I gave them all the valid information needed to use the card. Now I wonder if card is compromised.

An unclear, misleading, mistranslated refund policy. Cancellation inquiry takes forever, too. There goes a good sum of money right into the waste bin.

Regardless of the exact nature of each victim, it all revolves around trapping you out of refund eligibility, incompetent customer service, and simply ignoring you.

This is the worse experience I have had in my entire life. I have been trying to get an answer for 2 days now. I am trying to get a refund because of a national disaster in Yosemite. They had a massive fire and we did not know about because we were in Michigan. I was a day late to cancel. They just kept telling us they would call us back and never would. I have a brain tumor and get upset easily. I just want an answer. I looked up the company and found out they are in China, which explains a lot. I will contact Jane Sun, but I do not think it will do any good. This is a business practice of theirs. Just horrible.

I made two bookings for in total 5 return tickets on trip.com and they swapped names and surnames for the 5 passengers.
I contacted them to get it fixed asap and the customer service I received was very personal. I felt they did care about my problem and tried to help as much as they could.
I tried to change it on the airline website and the changes were really expensive, however, they got it fixed for free. Thanks!

Horrible Experience!

They have been cheating about a refund issued by Ryanair on their account. The flight was cancelled cause a strike and they said the airline had not processed the money. Today I called Ryanair and the refund was sent on 21 October 2022. This is fraud!

Don't use trip.com. They are attractive because prices are cheaper but it's because they will never refund or give you any money back if anything goes wrong. They will keep blaming a "third party vendor" saying that they refuse to help you and won't tell you who this "third vendor" is. Anything goes wrong, they have in small print for no refunds and no changes so you are basically screwed out of your money. This is a Chinese Company that does not have to comply to American rules so they'll just keep your money and not reimburse you anything. Please! Buyer beware! You have been warned! It is a really really bad idea to use this website!

I booked a round trip from Delhi to Paris(AirIndia) via Trip.com for 690€.
They swapped my last name and first name in the ticket. Then neither the airline is refunding my money or fixing the names nor trip.com is refunding. There are many other examples that can be found on the internet that it happens very often with Trip.com yet they want to take the responsibility and I am losing my 700€ for nothing. I also shared clear screenshots that I didn't make the mistake on my end but they don't take any responsbility.

I would never use Trip.com and would never recommend to anyone

Very dissatisfied

I booked a round trip flight for 3 people. When I got to the airport to check-in for my initial flight the airport staff said that my flight does not exist. Trip.com did not honor it's guarantee to put me on a new flight. They also would not reimburse me for my return flight or my airbnb. That meant that I needed to purchase last minute tickets on my own, which ended up costing over double the amount per ticket. Trip.com refuses to reimburse me for them. As can be expected, I was very concerned about the validity of my return flight and when I asked Trip.com for proof that it exists they were not able to. When I arrived at the airport I was pleasantly surprised that I was actually on the flight but I had a lot of unnecessary worry.
