Unfortunately, the policy for Mandalay Bay is extremely inconvenient. My brother and I are taking a trip out in May. My brother has to make the reservation because he has the ability to get a discount. I am going to be flying in a day earlier and they will not allow me to check in without him there. Not even if he adds me to the reservation. Fortunately, there are several other resorts that were willing to accommodate no problem!
Marsha did an outstanding job getting my wife and I a senior rate for the suite we will be using in August with our kids and grandkids. Extreme friendly and efficient.

I asked for one room for two people. He sold king as only option. Sold protection as if included in nightly quote. Agreed to quote totally unaware of up charge or most expensive room available. Typical salesman.

I have had trouble booking a room at this hotel. First attempt was a bogus confirmation number and I was told there were no rooms left. When I called back to try again, Emmanuel was extremely patient with me while I looked for information. He even stayed on the phone with me until my co formation came through the fire wall so I could be absolutely certain I had a reservation the 2nd time around.

This person misrepresented himself, led me to believe I was booking directly with LaQuinta. Overcharged me by $54 dollars. I asked why he was charging me $150 for a $96 room, he said prices vary. He said I had to pay immediately because I was booking for today, then had me key in my credit card number and expiration date. He asked me not to key in my CVS code on the back of the card, but instead read it to him. Now I've got to cancel this card because I don't know if it's compromised. I thought I was talking to a LaQuinta representative. Worse yet, when I got to the hotel I had difficulty checking in because they wanted me to pay them for a "prepaid room ". That was only when I learned I booked through a third party. Totally misled!
Humberto helped me book my stay and he was very personable and kind and helpful. He had clear communication and always asked if I had any further questions. I hope all customer service agents can strive to be as good as him.

Destiny was able to get me a reservation close to. Salem (final destination for night) and I was very glad to get off the highway after a 10 hour drive! Polite, spoke English and explained whole process. Never been to Albany so had difficulty trying to get into motel and then computer not working. If no reservation in advance, might not have been able to stay (10:30 pm).

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
