I found a holiday rate for 500 dollars on Travelocity. Hours later it was 700. Okay, booked it, rates go up unexpectedly. But that same night, the rate went back down to 500 using a different computer. I submitted four times the price match guarantee. Keep in mind, Same airline, Same times and dates, same flight within 6 hours. They would not honor the price match. Created lies like it's not the same flight or could not find the lower price even though I had a screenshot. I canceled and booked directly with another airline. Unfortunately, with upgrades, I paid almost the same. But I'd rather spend my money with a company that honors their promises. I'm staying away from the conglomerate Expedia Group which owns tons of sites and will now deal directly.
Their return policy is a total scam. I booked a flight 2 weeks away and needed to cancel and they won't return my money or give me credit back. Worst travel company I've ever used. They will take your money and not return it once you book with them.
I researched my floght for several days and finally decided to book on Travelocity.It was a bit more than I wanted to pay but my travel dates were fairly soon. I booked and next day found exact same route for $500 cheaper. Travelocity only offereed cancelation with in 3 days, then I could re book. Unacceptable. The fares would change by then. They could do this if they were really intereasted in their customers. ( SABRE allows cancellations depning on the flight rules and regardless I was within the 24 hour cancellation period) I was not going to tie up my credit card with more fees PLUS the flights would have been considered double booked and cancelled by the airlines. Just be wary. I will not use travelocity ever again.
I need to cancel my ticket and unfortunately, they don't have online cancellation. Only way to cancel your ticket is by calling them. I have been trying to call them since 2 hours. I have been holding phone for more than half an hour each time and yet I couldn't reach their customer care. I have tried all possible numbers. Every time I hear pre recorded message of high call volume. In my life, I have never seen call volume where you can't reach customer care even after holding your phone for half an hour.
Booked Fox Car rental through Travelocity. Our flight was scheduled to arrive at 11 pm in Ft Myers so I called Travelocity to check if we could pick our car up late if the flight was delayed. Their rep put us on hold for every question then came back with a scripted answer which was of no help then then directed us to call Fox. Fox said "no problem if your flight is delayed", then took our flight information and said they would wait for up to 6 hours after our scheduled arrival time. We arrived at Foxes pick up site at 11:30 pm (1/2 hour before their regular closing time of midnight) and no shuttle ever showed up. When I called Fox, they said they could only message the office, not even reach them by phone. Their office was closed and said it wouldn't reopen until 5 am. Fortunately, Sixt car rental company had people on site and were extremely helpful and professional and didn't gouge us on the price. A lot of wasted time, delays and unsatisfactory dealing with Travelocity and Fox, will never use either one again.
This is my go to booking site. They usually have such amazing deals and I've stayed in some really amazing places because of it. I have a family of 4 so finding these very unique hotels that accommodate to families is a big win for me. I am very satisfied with this site and will keep using them in the future.
I have used travelicity for years but my most recent reservation went badly and I will never use again. The room that I booked was not the room given to me when I complained they put me in the correct roomfir 1 nt as it was reserved by some1 else for the next nt. Fine I canceled the 2nd nt before 24 hrs but travelocity will not give me a credit even tho the hotel invoice still shows a credit. Travelocity said they would get a credit but then came back with well there is staffing shortages and we cannot get ahold of the hotel. I will never use and you should be careful also. Have used for years... never again. I will now dispute w my credit card company. I have a statement from the hotel with a credit balance!
Compared a couple Restaurants and decided to Order from the menu of the Waterfront, location St James City on the Island in Florida. Their 20 wings said $15.75 and steak and cheese sub for $9.75 on there posted menu (Totaling 25.50)
I was given my dinner and was told I owed them $44.09. Was speechless but I than told the cashier The price on the internet. A waitress than stepped in and told me I shouldn't believe what I see. HUN!
I than told her I could have gone to Texas Road House and gotten a Prime Rib Dinner with all the fix-ins for $35. I paid it because I was very hungry and it's hard for me to get around missing a leg but I did assure them that they wound never see another dollar from me.

We purchased 6 tickets from Travelocity to travel from New York JFK to Barcelona Airport and check in with Iberia. When we reached JFK the airplane was late by one hour and a half (1 1/2 hours) without any advertisement. While we were waiting they said that the airplane was on the piste and we will leave in 20 minutes. And when I looked thru the window I saw LEVEL I didn't say anything, I was thinking in my mind the airplane just landed with Covid how much cleaning did they do? Because Jet Blue always SANITIZE their airplanes way before COVID-19. OMG LEVEL looked to me like a bird cage, the Hallways were 10" not even the seats were very close with their 8" tables folded in 2 parts when I sat down, I know measurements very well they measured 10" THAT"S ALL YOU HAVE FOR FEET, and the air conditioner was 30 degree it was so cold I feel like I was inside of a FREEZER. I traveled in a wooden winter sweater plus a scarf on my hair just to show you how cold it was. The best part was when I pushed my chair backward the guy who sat behind me told me that I spelled his coffee on his lap, I told him that's because the seats were too close and the flight attendant kept dropping coffee on my feet and purse each time she walked in the hallway you see how tightly it was. We purchased food she dared give me half cup of coffee and when I asked her for milk, with a nasty tone she replied that" WE DON'T SERVE MIKL EVER IN THIS FLIGHT" EVEN THOUGHT YOU PAID you are not entitled to ask for anything, flight attendants were men and woman, the skinny woman looked like she had a hard life with a froggy voice and very nasty.
Level packed us like a box of Sardine. Thank God nothing happens to us while we were in the air, imagine that your bones got broken before you fall down. We reached Barcelona we all have our feet swollen and it took days to get to normal.
My ticket was a GIFT with Iberia not to travel your LEVEL 0. I demand a full refund.

They have kept us on hold for weeks with tepid offers to find new flights if we wanted (they should be doing this automatically), or otherwise offered us a $2k refund ($2k?) that would not post to our account for 8-weeks (8-weeks!).
Oh my gosh I wish we saw all these horrible reviews before we booked this. I'm so scared to tell my partner who is deployed if I can't get this resolved soon. It's so sad. Booked round trip flights and then it charges my card three times for the same flight and then in addition told me the cost had gone up another $500 and asked me to book a new flight! Customer service gives no explanation and simply stated I will have the finds returning to me within 7-10 business days! This place should be shut down!
I booked a flight from Taipei to Cape Town a couple of weeks ago through this website. Everything was swell until Singapore Airlines changed my itinerary on me. I contacted Travelocity by phone as soon as I found out. The first customer service operator found a flight for me that suited my needs, but she said she couldn't book it at the moment because she couldn't reach Singapore Airlines. She said she would contact me within 72 hours to provide an updated itinerary by email and call me to make sure that I am satisfied with the updated information. 4 days later, she still hadn't emailed or called. So I phoned in to see what was going on. I expected to be transferred to her when I called, but the second operator took over. I just assumed that he would start from where the first operator and I left off, but he started from the very beginning. After two hours, he told me that all flights were fully booked. I was forced to cancel my flight. This second operator said he would fully refund the money. Hopefully I get it.

They do not stand by the companies they offer on their website. I rented a car. The company does not exist. Travelocity blames it on staffing shortages. Not true. No one at the orlando airport ever heard of them. They will not answer their phone so i was unable to cancel my car in the appropriate time frame. They won't even answer Travelocitys calls. Travelocity will scam you. Do not use them.
Travelocity is the worst service I have ever used. They misprinted my name on a international flight and refused to correct it. After weeks of emails and 3 hour phone calls with them and both airlines, they were still unable to correct the issue. Then they refused to refund over $2000 in costs. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Booked a condo, flight for 4 and a car rental at Orlando Airport. We arrive at 3:49 and I put down we needed a car at 4:00 pm and three weeks after that booking I get notice that "my car" won't be available until 9 p.m. So chatted with Travelocity and oh there's nothing they can do…I always used Hotels.com before this and I'll go back to them.
Unbelievably bad experience with Travelocity. DO NOT USE their site, you will regret it! Customer Service is terrible and they do not care about loyalty! I needed to change my flights due to circumstances outside of my control and they would not refund my flights, or change/reschedule my flights, or give me a credit for the future... Robbery! They gave my zero options. Don't lose your money to Travelocity. Book flights directly on the airline websites.
I booked through Travelocity on 10-10-21 upon arrival at our resort on 2-1-22 we were told we did not have a reservation! I have conformation #! Travelocity said... sorry that should not have happened! And that is all! So they literally screwed up our vacation and just said SORRY!

Travelocity falsely used my airline credits for a two way flight, leaving the return leg null and void. Zero customer support. Had to rebook directly with the airline for a 100% out of pocket expense. Zero refund from Travelocity's screw up. Will never use this company again, just absolute trash.
Answer: They tell you that you can use the credit within 12 months. When you try to book the flight, there is no way to apply the credit yourself, so you have to speak with a rep to do it. They place you on hold for hours! When you finally do speak with someone who can help you, you are told there is a re-booking fee added to be able to use the credit, making it cost more than if you just purchase a new ticket without adding the "credit"! Bottom line is that they say there is no penalty and that you get the credit, but you do not. They are liars and unethical, at best.
Answer: Bridgett, It is simply because this company has terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE customer service! It seems like the people who gave positive reviews have not had to make any changes in their arrangements--if they needed to change something, I believe their experience would have been negative. Who wants to do business with a company that is only a fair weather friend? Not me! This was by far the WORST experience I have had in dealing with a company. I will never use them again and I tell everyone I can to avoid them.

Answer: I totally disagree, you will never understand if you don't like to understand. If you try tonipen your ears and listen carefully without so much objections in mind, i bet you will understand. If you are a frequent flyer, you will know that these travel agencies has no control of the policies of the tickets, as they are implemented by airlines. And when you book a trip online, either from travel agencies or airlines websites, you will be informed of the policies. I bet you know how to read and understands simple english word, like non refundable right?
