I've been using Travelocity for perhaps 20 years or more with no problem. I just booked some nearly last-minute flights for an out-of-town funeral via Travelocity. It seems my old account had been lost so I created a new one and input my email and a password. But then I received no communications from Travelocity even though the airlines and Travelocity billed my credit card.
A chat cust. Service rep couldn't find any record of any flights for me even though I provided them the full credit card transactions. I then thought I'd try to check into one of the airlines using my credit card and lo and behold, there was the reservation that Travelocity had no record of. I was able to check-in this way.

I didn't even receive a receipt from Travelocity.

I simply can't use Travelocity again, the risk is too high that they will lose my records and could leave me high and dry when I most need it. I'll be using other service providers in the future.

They tell you they cant do a name change til 72 hrs before the flight without checking out circumstances then when you call for the name change in the 3 day period they tell you too they say the airlines wont allow it. Well if you check with the airline first i would have had time to cancel the flight and rebuy the tickets without the last minute nightmare that will be customs due to travelocitys terrible customer service. Not to mention the huge language barrier when trying to explain this to customer service agents that barely speak english.

Cancelled flights

I had been using them for YEARS- then I had and still have a problematic leg which has been cancelled- the airline will not let you talk to them directly on anything. I have spent hrs and hrs trying to get my flights fixed and it's been ridiculous. I fear with airlines canceling more and more flights it's going to be a nightmare - use them to find and compare then book directly with the airlines!

SCAM

Asked for a refund, they gave it to me, but then said I had to CALL them to redeem the refund. Called them and they said my tickets were going to be $900, when I go ON the site, I can get the same tickets for $250. These clowns are TOTAL scams! Next time I will just deal with the airlines directly.

Booked rental through Travelocity, paid $50 deposit. Alamo had no record of the $50 deposit. After trip contacted Travelocity and was told the $50.00 was for collision insurance and not a deposit. I had waived collision with Alamo and Travelocity refuses to refund the $50.00.

Don't Go To La Hacienda Midtown

I am a visitor from Chicago, brought guest here - party of four. Service was horrendous. We waited 3 hrs.' before receiving our meal. So we took it to go. Supposedly manager/owner apologized/ he showed no remorse and walked away. I will never visit this place again. Our bill was 185.00. The waiter was unapologetically remorseful concerning our situation. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Because we were short one chair. I don't understand how any one can treat tourist so horrible. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. The one star is for the drinks and appetizers. La Hacienda you suck.

NEVER AGAIN!

I booked a rental car through Travelocity (prepaid) and when I arrived I was told I could not use a debit card as the major credit card requirement. I didn't have a major credit card because my husband had his to use while on vacation. We were advised to create a NEW reservation with my husbands name and then ask Travelocity for a refund. GUESS WHAT... Travelocity will not give us a refund even though the rental company approved it. I ended up paying double ($600) for a Nissan Altima for 5 days. NEVER AGAIN!

I have had a horrible experience booking a simple domestic trip on Travelocity. Their website is not working. Either it changes the return date to being the same as the departure date or it does the reverse. I tried at least 15 times to get that site to take in the correct dates. When it looked like it had accepted the correct dates and I booked the flight I found that it had changed the dates again. I have done very little traveling since Covid. Before Covid Travelocity was my go to place for booking. Now I do not trust that website and will never book with Travelocity again.

I just spent 2 hours with virtual agents trying to get a trip booked and absolutely no one was of any help. They can't give me a number to call (I know I've called before), my conversation was ended 4 times so I went through 4 agents and had to repeat information - that they have - MULTIPLE times. All I was trying to do was use my credits and I even searched the flights and found ones I wanted to book using my credits but the booking won't apply them (the reason I started the Support chate to begin with). The absolutely most ridiculous company I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend NOT using Travelocity unless you know you're booking will happen without any glitches or issues.

I booked a package that included flights and hotel with Travelocity. Check in to the hotel was for Feb 10th -2023... when I arrived the hotel was closed since January 9th 2023. I got in touch with Travelocity on Feb 11th and till today I requested a refund for the hotel since they advertised it and I paid for it on their site and they have been giving me the run around. They claim they are waiting on the hotel to respond to confirm closure and no one has responded... duh! The hotel is closed! I told them I paid them and did not book directly for the hotel. They refuse to take responsibility and told me the hotel needs to refund them in order for me to receive a refund. SCAM is the proper word. I will never use them again and I hope people do the research before considering them as a booking option. Terrible service...

A nightmare
February 18, 2023

I am planning a trip through Travelocity. It is a nightmare! I had to change my flight due to a family illness. I am traveling with my mom with a disability. Today when we looked at our bank statement and were shocked with the charges from them. I was online and on the phone for almost two hours with them and didn't get anywhere. Unfortunately, it has been an expensive and frustrating learning experience, but we will not make the same mistake again.

Bottom feeder company that is a scam with zero customer support my ticket $913 I get back $670 in 12 weeks maybe because their website does not work absolutely no customer support not possible to correct my first name they are so inconfidant useless service for nothing. Straight up loser company that steals.

Stranded with no warning

Our flight was scheduled for 24 Dec 22, booked using Travelocity. Day of check-in, notified flight had been cancelled on 15 Dec. No notification from Travelocity. Airline notified Travelocity on 15 Dec. Now they don't want to help saying "not our fault". They are the worst.

Don't trust these people, this business and the businesses they deal with are untrust worthy, full of hidden fees devious business practices, will not honor they'er contracts don't give up no money, do not give Travelocity your Credit crd info or Debit crd info once they get your money you will not get the service you are looking for.especially if you give them money

Pet friendly?

Thier web site said the hotel we stayed in was pet friendly? Conch Key Fishing lodge & Marina. We paid in advance, when we checked we had to pay a non refundable pet fee of $25.00 a night. The Travelocity web site said nothing about paying a pet fee. I called them (Travelocity) to get assistance on getting my pet fee back. Spoke with PAU (poor English) she said take it up with the hotel? I told them I book it through Travelocity, it was thier problem, they should get my money back. $53.75 for 2 night and tax. Travelocity was no HEalP! Book somewhere else.

I booked a car rental with Travelocity for my trip to Disneyland.I noticed that the time of pick up and drop off I had put in was incorrect. I tried to change the time with no luck. I contacted Travelocity to change the times for pick up and drop off. They said they could not do that and I would need to canel the reservation and rebook. I told them their was a $50 charge to cancel any bookings. They told me that it would be waved. When I got my credit card statement they actually charge me $79 to cancel my reservation. This is a very dishonest company

HORRIBLE SERVICE

They charged me for a reservation and did not pay the hotel for it when I arrived at 1:00 a.m. there was no reservation under my name. I called customer service and their response was you're on your own
