I had some issues at the beginning with my flight booking but customer service helped to resolve the problem.
AVOID. Purchased Two-way trip from them for the New Year Eve. They cancelled my return flight without notification, explanation or refund. When I arrived to the airport for the check-in, the agents told me they could not find me in the system. The agents were not able to give any additional information, advised to call the agency. No one was available on the phone. I had to purchase a ticket again at a last-minute price. Few days later, still no one answer on the phone. If you want to save your time and money, do not deal with this agency.

This company does not respond to its mistakes in connections. Their customer service does not resolve anything. I had issues with a connection, and after 30 mins calling them, they were not able to reschedule a flight, I was the one that found and bought the new tickets.
The refund is a nightmare, I'm still trying to get my money back.
Update:
After more than 6 months, NO refund has been executed (even when I had 3 different email threads with the "agents/customer service"). I think my money is lost.

I bought two tickets and travel insurance in November for a trip in April through Travelgenio. My flight was cancelled. Travelgenio's website where I am supposed to apply for my 3100 back is a loop. I called British Airways they tell me to go through Travelgenio. There is no customer service through Travelgenio, just a loop of applying for a refund, which tells me to call British Airways. So I am left out of a flight and no refund. If you are looking for travel, avoid Travelgenio - there is no customer service - not bad customer service...NONE!

I gave one star just because there isn't a zero star option. I´m avoiding this company at all costs in the future. Communication is awful. They don´t answer to messages. I have 15 days writing to them regarding an invoice that I never received. They simply don't deliver. Save yourselves the trouble and just buy anywhere else!

I bought a ticket from this travel agency for Dubai in September 2022 for myself and partner. I had to cancel because of my partner's work schedule which would allow as the vacation days to travel. This agency has promised to get back to me on my refund which they never did.I tried call but theirs numbers won't go through and no email to contact them either I'm beginning to think it's a scammed company and will advise others not to purchase from them.
I'm not 100% sure how I booked with this travel agency (so I missed these reviews and would've skipped them), it was several months ago before our departure date. Searched many sites for booking everything. Boils down to between this agency and the airline (Air Portugal) customer service is absolutely horrendous! And both will take your money! Please stay away from both. I could go into detail to back up my review. But I don't think there's enough space here let alone space in my head to do it.

First, be careful that you don't accidentally use this company by booking through a site like Kayak.com. They may route you to these crooks. Booked through them and the airline cancelled my flight and refunded my money to THEM. They refuse to refund it to me and won't even communicate with me about it. My worst regret is the money they stole from me will help keep them in business longer. They deserve to go out of business.

Booked my flight return through Travelgenio. When I confirmed with the airlines they informed that changes were made to my ticket and I should contact the Agent. I Emailed Travelgenio who confirmed that the booking was cancelled (by the air line?) and that they would refund me my money. To date nothing received after several emails. I just feel that they have taken advantage of a 75 year old woman, hoping that I would let sleeping dogs lie. SHAME ON YOU

I tried to claim about refund but they haven't answered to me yet.

I was enticed to book our ticket because it offers much lower cost compared to other agency, unfortunately the passenger name differs from what i had filled up from my application form. I tried to emailed them immediately to rectify the passenger name since it is not my fault, error was committed by their carelessness to properly issue the correct details of each passengers but sad to say no actions were taken, they just reverted back with complain ticket but until now no rectifications of our ticket were issued.
I won't recommend this agency to others even with their enticing offers.

I warn everybody to be careful with purchasing a trip from Travelgenio, if something goes wrong they will take your money and ignore your claim. My flight was canceled in July 2020 and we are in 2023 and I m still waiting for my refund. Despite many claims to this company I was ignored. I feel that they robbed me, so be aware this company is a scam bye your trip from the air companies it's more safer. I m never gonna accept this way to sheat customers. I ll publish in a any possible way and expose their scams.
The site does not let me cancel my ticket because of a page error. It does not let me contact them because they offer no way to make contact. I paid extra to have a ticket I could cancel but it is not possible to reach them to cancel. Had to go through AMEX to get my money back! Go to the site yourself and click "Contact Us" It says to go to MyTrips to make contact, but there is nothing there for making contact with them. Garbage service!

Stay away from this travel agent. They are bad at everything. They send you email confirmation with missing information. For example, I did not get the flight numbers. Then, they could not tell me about seat assignments. They take 2 or 3 days to get back to you, and do not answer your questions, or answer it by sending you the same wrong itinerary. Best to get them out of the market.

I booked 2 tickets on the 26 Dec to Tel Aviv and the flight was cancelled. They don't respond to any form of communication. I called Egypt air and they were just as unhelpful. They said they can't do anything and have to contact travelgenio direct. What I don't understand is why this company continues to scam people without the airlines reporting it themselves.

This agent is scam, they just take your money and don't do any services,the tickets is not refundable even you purchased advance refundable terms. They just take your money and without any refund even you have proper reason. So never book tickets from this agent. We used Travelgenio to book a British Airways flight from Seattle to Malaga; with a stop-over in Heathrow. When BA cancelled our Heathrow to Malaga flight; Travelgenio decided to re-book us on a flight that left Heathrow 5 hours PRIOR to our arrival there. And, since there is no phone number for Travelgenio; and no way to contact them directly; we had to go through BA and work through a series of difficulties to get our reservations revised.

Don't purchase a ticket from this … (whatever it's called) they are the worse … I got put on hold only to be transferred to the customer survey section. I mean I'm not even done with the call. They won't honor the advertised no change fees the airline ordered. I mean the complete worse in everything…. Never again

Zero star company! Don't book on their page!
We booked tickets 2 weeks up front and they never sent us the tickets. They kept on having the status "processing" in their app. One day before departure they informed us they weren't able to book the tickets. We end up having to book new ones four times the price. They didn't refund the difference. Very slow and basic customer service. It takes days to have a reply, what a joke!
