First of all I would have given you a rating of 0.1. This is a scam company scamming out people wanting to save money buying air tickets. Very poor customer service system.
The worst agency i have ever deal with. Very rude agents.
I have tried to change my flight dates they dont respond to you by the time the tickets prices increases.and when they changed it the ask me to pay money without any explanations and when you ask why they anawer if you want to proceed pay or i will hang the phone! How rude.
After paying extra they call again and ask me to pay another extra money because their system had an issue by the time they fixed it the ticket price increased! Why should i pay for your fault?! Why should i pay for their syatem issue? No reply.
For refund although i paid extra while purchasing now they are telling me no you cant redund your money.

I would give this site a -5 stars if i could. I sent my teenage daughter to turkey from minnesota to visit her mother for the summer; both flights (outbound and return) were chosen due to the least amount of layover time possible since there are 3 layovers. A few weeks before the flight was notified that the flights had been changed and she was stuck in the airports for over 16 hours. Tried to contact ANYONE, but there is no contact for this garbage "travel agency".
Same thing happened for the return flight, except now they want her to spend 12 hours overnight at heathrow alone, not including the other layovers.
If you value anything resembling human decency, DO NOT book through this website, because they have none whatsoever! They don't give a shıt about you, they don't care about your safety, they don't care about anything but getting your money, and you have no recourse whatsoever but to bend over and take it.
The airline is no better (british airways); they're the ones who changed the flight schedule, yet they revert to the booking agency if you want anything done about it, which obviously they won't do.
Fưck both of these companies. I hope all the children of every one of the employees of both travelgenio.com and british airways die of dengue fever and necrotizing fasciitis before they ever have a chance to reproduce.

They canceled my first flight and then didn't confirm my second flight. Their customer service line is awful. I was hung on twice and one of the customer service workers admitted flight cancellations occurred regularly with this company. Avoid at all cost!

They offer good prices but the customer service does not exist. You can't reach the website unless you receive an email and then you can't find any contact information as they keep leading you through hollow loops to end at the begging site. You can find a phone number searching google but it is hopeless. You wait and then get disconnected

Booked three flights on Vistara airlines in April.
Cancelled by airlines.
Vistara informed me by early May that I would be refunded.
Communicated with Travelgenio but based on critical reviews I figured that I would lose my 280 dollars.
Last night I received email from Travelgenio saying my refund had been processed and sure enough the money was in my bank account this morning.

This is a scam company, they have no intention of providing any form of service, despite their claim to be an 'agent'. Once you get past the sales page of their website, your heart will sink when you realize they have made no effort at all with anything else other than selling. It looks like it was made in the early 90s and most of it is fake, the buttons to print your tickets don't work, the buttons to make changes just open a webform that all link to the same place, there's no way of contacting customer services, I don't actually believe they have any customer service. The autoreply to the webform (regardless of what you ask for) advises the user to contact the airline directly, something they are literally being paid to do, it's what an agent is paid to do... To make matters worse, airlines will not make changes if a flight was booked via an agent, why would they? They have given a discount to the agent to deal with the customer service side of things. So when a scam company like Travelgenio decides it cannot be bothered providing any, you're stuck in limbo.
They will not refund cancellations, despite it being a legal requirement. Ignore their 'no refund' disclaimer, this is actually illegal, you cannot take money from someone and then not provide the service. It falls under a few regulations in the UK and EU, one of which is distance selling regs.
The owner of the company is a con man who lives in Spain and has made millions ripping people off. He has no intention of ever providing the services he is claiming to offer, and when this company is shut down, he'll just set up another one. He and everyone that works for him is absolutely awful at what they do.
They're not on social media because they know that they would be slaughtered, because they are well aware that what they are doing is illegal and fraudulent.
I have reported them to the police in the UK for fraud and to their regulator, however I imagine I'm not the first or last, these scammers just close down and set up again a few weeks later under a new name.

I was booking a flight ticket using TravelGenio. The Total price was showing £265 (7713CZK) on the final page before confirmation. Yet when I clicked proceed to pay they added additional £20 (8225) fee for no reason? There was nothing extra added, no luggage, no fast track, yet the price automatically jumped up for no particular reason. It seems like they are doing this to all clients when you book flight tickets. Pls be careful, as the price you finally pay is not the price they show on the finally summary of the ticket. I am not going to purchase with them again. It is a rip off!

I used Travelgenio to book my flights to and from Europe in July of 2022. While in Europe I became ill and needed to reschedule my flight home. When I called, I was told a specific date was open to fly on and I received an email saying my travel date was that day. Then I got an email saying it wasn't available and to let them know what to do. I called again and the customer service person was unable to tell me what dates were open - very unhelpful. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told there were no supervisors. Additionally, they wanted $350 to cancel and rebook my flight along with paying for the new flight. Trying to contact customer service online lead to a loop with no end. They are supposed to contact you by email, but I was never contacted. I ended up not showing up and just booking a new ticket (not through them) and it cost me less money. The entire experience was a nightmare.

Later I called the airlines and confirmed the tickets. We finally succeeded to take the flight. It's definitely not scam though the service was poor.
I was directed to travelgenio by the searching results through kayak. One day after the booking, I received the E-Ticket confirmation email from travelgenio. However, nither the booking codes nor the ticket numbers travelgenio provided can be confirmed on the airline website. I tried to contact travelgenio and found no customer service phone number or email availabe on its website. No customer service at all! Can you give me a customer service phone number or email available in the US?
This past Sunday we were informed we were exposed to Covid and my daughter tested +. We were unable to get a PCR test until Monday (the date of our flight). I was in contact with Travelgenio during this time and they said nothing about cancelling my flight by a time certain. Surprisingly, when the PCR test came back on Tuesday, she tested negative. We are being penalized for doing the right thing when we thought my daughter had Covid. Our situation and the timing of everything has to be a rare situation. I even provided a copy of the at home test showing + for Covid and copies of the texts we received informing us of our exposure. Stuff like this is going to make people travel while +. I have asked to escalate this because this is ridiculous and not the way to do business. I even paid for the Enhanced Refundable Terms to no avail! Run do not walk, this company is horrible and I would not recommend them to anyone.
I had booked a flight through Travelgenio as part of a Go Ahead Travel tour of Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, My wife and I both tested positive for Covid 2 days before we were to leave to go on the tour. As a result we were not going to fly on the flight I had booked with Travelgenio from Nadi, Fiji to Sydney on July 28. I explained all of this to Travelgenio, included all data (positive test results for Covid, booking details with Go Ahead Travel) and asked for a refund. As has been notied by a number of reviewers, Travelgenio ignored my explanation that we would not be traveling to Fiji as a part of the tour due to the positive
Covid test and denied giving a refund since the positive Covid test was more than 7 days before the flight. I've now apparently been blocked out of their customer service site and cannot access my reservation with Travelgenio to get my refund (over $1000). Several people have noted this organization is about "looting" your money, essentially refusing to pay any attention to the facts of the situation. DO NOT BOOK ANY TRAVEL WITH TRAVELGENIO, THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO TAKE APPROPRIATE CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTIONS. I am 72 years old and this trip was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Travelgenio has turned it into a nightmare.
