I don't know how they were making automatic charges to my credit card (have never used this site before) and there is no way to contact them. SCAM!

Purchased the special service option for myself and my travel companion in order to book our seats and bags for the trip, only for Travelgenio to eat the fees. When I called and emailed to elect to use the special service, I was told my airline was not eligible for bags or seats to be chosen. I requested a refund of the special service and they refused, even after I verbally confirmed with the representative that they were refusing to provide a service that had been paid for. I have called customer service multiple times to attempt to have bags and seats chosen, and no employee of this company knows how to complete this menial task. I am days away from my flight and am still waiting for customer service to confirm whether or not they have booked my luggage or seats.
Update: Travelgenio never provided the special service option of booking seats/luggage and did NOT refund me as requested.

Hi everyone. I'm writing this review to help others making smarter decision than what I made.
I bought some flight tickets nearly two months ago organising a family union in South korea where my wife lived before we met. I was going to bring my son from my previous marrige to Korea from Hungary and later we all wanted to travel with him back to Hungary. So I bought a return ticket for him and later I bought a one way one for us but I did it on a hurry and Travelgenio site used autofill and it put my sons name again instead of my wifes name. I had a few minutes to purchase the ticket so I though I will just change the names later.
Now we are nearly two months after purchasing and nothing happened. I'm sending requests over their website, writing emails but no real result. Ones they told me if I already created a request just need to wait and they will be with me soon. Nothing happened. Just unbelievable poor customer service. Not recommended at all.
Booked a flight on Nile Air. Upon arrival at airport we were told flight NP 72 (14oct 2021 frm luxor to cairo) canceled. Travelgenio did not bother to inform us. Immediately requested refund. Nile Air agreed that entitled to refund(obviousy) but that agent must request. Numerous emails followed. Different laughable explanations why we should not be refunded followed, oncluding that this type of ticket not refundable! Fraudulently misrepresented that they did apply for refund... Nile Air says they did not. Etc etc. Curious to see what Spain authorities do about them. Believe Spanish company. Stay away!
I have booked a ticket from Montreal to Toronto, but it was canceled by the airlines I haven't received the refund yet. It's been more than a month and also on top of it I can't see any trip-related information on the trip page. The customer service is of no use. They just keep your call on hold for an hour to cut it at the end.

Stay away from this travel agent. They are bad at everything. They send you email confirmation with missing information. For example, I did not get the flight numbers. Then, they could not tell me about seat assignments. They take 2 or 3 days to get back to you, and do not answer your questions, or answer it by sending you the same wrong itinerary. Best to get them out of the market.
I requested to change my dad's flight a full week ago. When I called in to inquire about it, the agent had no timeline as to when I would be getting an answer. He just said it was prioritized by proximity to the flight whatever that means! Very frustrated and frankly scared that this company is going to rip us off of our money and my dad won't be able to come visit my newborn baby.
This company should not be allowed to operate as they are unethical to say the least. My flight from NZ to Australia was cancelled due to the country going into lockdown and they said I would have a travel credit with them. The flight was with Qantas and Qantas said that they would honor the credit till December 2022. Well, surprise surprise, when I called Travel Genio to rebook the flight they said that the credit had expired as they only allow one year. I explained that New Zealand's borders are just opening and their answer? We don't make exceptions. I hope they go bankrupt, they deserve it.

I have requested a name correction for my 6 year old kid (Just one alphabet to be removed) 72 hours before the departure(called them several times during this period where they promised to make the change in an hour or two), but they simply did not help.

They replied me 46 hours before departure saying that according to their policies they can only change the dates 48 hours prior departure and asked me to contact airways directly ti make the change. When i asked to send me their policies they simply disconnected the call.
I recorded the phone conversation and will take it further to extreme.
When i call the airlines they simply said that the travel agency is lying and fooling around and the change can be made even when it is 2 hours before the departure. I wonder why this travelgenio is simply not doing their job! I still have 43 hours for the departure, if it is a genuine company they should be able to fix it.

Curious after reading reviews if my flight will be changed on time. It is Tuesday and I wish to fly out on Friday. Sent an email but I also sent two emails weeks ago about paying for special services which is an absolute scam It leads you to believe it is a payment for baggage. Apparently I paid for nothing.

I had no idea that tripmonster sends transactions through travelgenio. I saw an email from the airline I thought I purchased a ticket through telling me the ticket was reserved but not booked. I contacted tripmonster and gave them a booking id. The booking is had 8 digits but Tripmonster says their booking ids are 6 digits. At this point the transaction is pending. I have to wait till the transaction goes through to dispute it.
Trying to make a flight change which was meant to cost 50 euros instead of the heart attack 511.00 Euros they tried to charge me for making a date change. I was told there are No refunds available. No direct number to call, only contactable via contact email. But no one to actually speak too. These are hard times, and no one likes seeing their hard earned money being poured down the drain. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED AN ARM AND A LEG to make changes for flights and be over charged well above the 50 euros it was originally meant to cost for the change

This is the worst company i ever seen, i buy ticket too Dubai and my niece gets covid in Dec 2021. That i could't travel for that reason. I send them mail every weekend to ask my money back, because i payed for including refundable, and then i get mail from them and says that it's not refundable. I acually paid the ticket over 1000 euros, and they scamming people. If any one want to buy ticket from them, never do that, trust me. They are the Scammers. The biggest.
Firstly there is a long waiting time. By trying multiple times anyhow someone picks the call so for every question they need at least 5 mins of waiting to answer. Also, the CS person was so rude last when I complain so she again put my call on long hold. They don't know how to ethics of CS.
