I was very nervous to order from Tobi after I read a lot of bad reviews. But, the 50% off your first order deal was so great & I found quite a few items that looked really cute, so I just decided to go for it. I ordered 6 items & got my 50% off by putting in the code (keep in mind, I don't think you get half off on things that are already 30% off). I spent over 100$ so shipping was free. Everything arrived in the right color and right size and looked pretty much like I imagined -- definitely not great quality but I feel I got exactly what I expected from a discount store. Every fit true to size & I'm really happy with my order. My advice is just be smart about what you order. I mostly went for cute but pretty simple items that would be hard to mess up. I will definitely order from Tobi again. (Also shipping was right on time. It took about 4 days to get my clothes delivered to the Midwest in US.)
When you cancel and still get charged it is a sign of poor customer service. Attempts to contact by phone and quickly resolve the situation were met with a constant busy signal even after half a dozen attempts.
It takes forever to get what you ordered. They are not as fast as their competition. I am a first time shopper. Then my delivery wasnt delivered it was turned back and now I cant reach a person by phone or a live chat to fix it. So I have to email and wait which means I wont get the package in time and need to cancel the whole order. Luckily i ordered from their competition who has excellent delivery and customer service. Use Lulu's the quality is excellent, shipping time is fast, prices are lower and they actually have real people you can call or live chat with. This company is behind the times and not worth it
So I just recently started ordering from Tobi about 7 months ago. When I started they were great! Free shipping on everything! They sent me my clothes within 3 days and when it didn't fit right I got my full refund hassle free. I ordered a couple other things then stopped for a while. Now, there are a few changes that made me stop ordering from them. Of course companies get greedy and now it's "Free shipping with purchase over $50". That's okay I guess I get that but the main reason I loved them was the free shipping on anything. Now it takes three days just to process the order. Extremely slow shipping now! And to top it off the prices went way up and everything seems to be "final sale". With online clothing final sale is a bit ridiculous. I used to recommend this website to all my friends but now it's just another overpriced rip-off of a company. (Forgot to mention that the quality of the clothing isn't bad but it's definitely not worth all the trouble and $$$)
Okay, so I ordered $125 worth of stuff. I got charged customs, which is $30, and sure, when you are purchasing it says on the bottom (in teeny tiny font) that customs charges may apply. Fair. I decided to return all the items cause of their poor quality. To return the items back, it costed me another $30. Then for my refund. Oh wait for this. So they charged me $168 CAD, but they only refund in USD! So I only got 125 USD but then it depends on your banks exchange rate, etc. Anyways I essentially spent $100 just to "try on dresses". Never shop here.
I've been trying to contact them so many times about a refund that they promised me, and no replies back! It's funny because when I contacted them about an order question, they were so quick to reply but when it came to refund inquiries, no reply back at all. It's been almost a month since they received my package and still have not heard back. It's frustrating when there is no phone number to contact them either. Who knows if they are seeing emails or choosing to ignore because they don't want to give you your money back. Bunch of scammers. This is my first time refunding anything from here so this is the first horrible experience with them.
After 26+ emails with Tobi, assuring me that I was in step 2 of the return ad would receive my refund within another 2 weeks (3 months had passed so far).,, I still did not have the refund. I contacted them again to no avail. I decided to contact my credit card company and we started a dispute. They took information such as date I returned the item, tracking numbers, date Tobi received the item and descriptions of the items. I received my full refund within 48 hours. Never purchasing from Tobi again. I don't know what this company is about, but I know that I had very bad experience and would never buy from them again.
Total scam company. Do not waste your money on their clothes. I purchase online a lot and subsequently have to return items. I have never experienced a company like Tobi, that clearly has no intention of providing me or any customer with a refund, despite using the proper channels to return the item (in a timely manner). They do not have a phone number so you must communicate via email. Well, I have had over 26 emails back and forth with them about 1 refund (that is never coming). They continue to assure me that the refund is coming and then lose all of my information only for me to begin again with them and they magically find my information again and reassure me they are very backed up this time year but the refund is coming. Complete fraud. Total scam. My credit card company even flagged them as fraud originally. I am disputing the charges.
So disappointed that I can't rate any lower. Cute dresses but VERY POOR quality. I've heard a lot about the poor materials, but I didn't mind, AT LEAST make sure the clothing stays put together. Bought a blouse and a dress with exact same buttons that are horribly stitched on, also come loose really fast because the buttonhole is too wide. I am wearing this dress for the first time to work and straight to a friends graduation at night and the buttons keep coming loose, two buttons fell off (cause of loose thread) and I've lost one already. Here I am at work worrying about my buttons coming undone and constantly checking them. What pisses me off is the dress is not tight or small yet the buttons just slip open randomly. Now I'm just hoping someone can rescue me by bringing me some threads and needle after work. Considering how there are so many negative feedback on returns, I wont even bother. #@$! You TOBI, my foot can probably stitch better than you!
I am very pleased with my purchases from Tobi every time I place an order. There were a few instances where I had to return some items but did not run into any problems returning the merchandise. The money was always returned to my credit card within 3-4 weeks. Some people mentioned that the material is cheap. You get what you pay for. Of course, if you get a $20 shirt it will not be high end quality. I got a few dresses/shirts and loved them. Last time, I tried returning a dress I could not print a return label. I e-mailed Tobi and got a response within 20 mins. I was advised that there is no return label for international purchases (I am from Toronto and the merchandise comes from San Francisco). Overall, great experience and no trouble!
Unlike everyone else I had a great experience with Tobi! My order was shipped the day after it was placed and it arrived 2-3 days later; exactly as the tracker said it would. All of the things I ordered was there in the correct sizes and good condition. I am 5'2'' and 108 pounds and I fit perfectly into a small. Of course the maxi dress I got was too long but its nothing a little sewing can't fix! Overall quality is great and I will definitely order again!
I ordered from Tobi last summer. Honestly, I have nothing nice to say about the clothes. They looked fine when I got them, but are honestly some of the cheapest made clothing I have ever bought. I wore a tank top only a couple times and after the first wash it was covered with holes. Stay away! Prices seem good but it's because the clothes are garbage.
I've ordered from tobi 6-8 times. Every single time my order has arrived within 3-4 days (and I live in the East Coast). I love their clothes and everything has fit me great, except for a maxi dress that was super long but that's because I'm 5'1. I don't know why people give tobi such bad reviews because I've never had a bad experience and I love all my clothes from there.
I have ordered from toni about six times now and shipping is always very quick, always within two days. I am always surprised at the quality of the clothes because of the low prices and constant sale. I love everything I have ever ordered. They did lose a dress one time but responded quickly to my e-mail and ordered me a new one as well as a 50% off gift code for next time. I'd recommend Tobi to anyone who needs trendy fashion for a low price.
I love the style of Tobi dresses and they always have good deals, but the zippers on their dresses are nothing less than crap. The two dresses I have with zippers fit me fine, but you would think I'd have to lose thirty pounds to make them zip because any pressure at all against the zipper and they wont budge. Spent an hour and a half trying to zip a dress and got frustrated and started cutting the in seams to relieve tension and the zipper started to come off. Please fix your zippers, I'm sure i'm not the only one with this issue.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. Read their return policy - it is criminal. You will never get your money back. Look at their Twitter and Better Business Bureau. Worst customer service, worst company ever. Do yourself a favor - I am out $400 because of them.
This website is magnificent, not only did I get 50% off my first order, it arrived in less than a week to Australia. The customer service was really great. I got all of my items in the right size. And they were all great quality.
I ordered a dress in 2 sizes knowing I would at least be returning one. I understood "free returns in 10 days" to mean that if I returned the item with in 10 days of receipt I would get my money back. Neither dress fit and now I am stuck with a credit to a place whose clothing doesn't fit me and whom I believe has questionable business practices. I find the fact that you have no phone customer service to be frustrating as well as sketchy. I'd like a refund to my credit card.
Bought this dress for 49$ & soon to find another similar dress for only $28 :( of course i returned it. They're only giving you 50% off first purchase to make you shop but still prices are way too high. $25 for plain crop top? =/
They advertise free returns which sounds great but it's such a lie. I returned something back in April (now August) and still have not been refunded. I have emailed them several times and continue to get the same automated message. This place is such a scam and I recommend that no one buys anything from this place. So disappointing, I got ripped off and now have to get my bank involved.
I ordered a dress for my friends wedding, even paid £20 extra to have it delivered in time (2 weeks), for the first 5 days my order was 'processing', then I get an email telling me that my order has been cancelled because they don't have it in stock, now it's less than two weeks until the wedding and I still have nothing to wear, fabulous. Why sell it if it's not in stock, and why did it take 5 days for them to find that out!? Don't order from this site, it may go right sometimes but according to the majority of these reviews, most of the time they're just useless, and not worth the hassle. Should have listened to the reviews on here!

Answer: Contact customer service and tell them, this happened to me before using a few other websites and they told me to place the order anyway and gave me a refund for the items that were overcharged. Pretty annoying when you have a 50% off code to use and they mess it up!
Answer: With your best interest in mind, I would advise that you return in separate packages with labels from each order and watch it closely from beginning to end of the return so it doesn't slip through the cracks. Get a tracking number for each also.
