They charged my girlfriend double the cost of the actual ticket cost. They impersonated a legit website and it fooled her. Obviously being a scam website they do not offer refunds.
In November 2022 made Lion King reservations at Hollywood Pantages Theater for 3/25/23 show. Received email with "confirmation" number but no "tickets", and was told tickets would be emailed prior to show. It never happened despite our frantic non-stop calls, emails and online chats in the 3 days leading up to the show. Same evasive lies delivered by various 3rd world call-center crooks. We decided to pack up our kids and drive 90 minutes to the theater, where Pantages staff confirmed the seats we had been assigned were under someone else's name and had been used. Heartbreak all around.
This site has a similar layout to Ticketmaster and will charge you two-three times the amount of the ticket through Ticketmaster. I paid $75 for a $25 ticket. Do not use this service, unless you like to throw money away.
They resell tickets at 4x the amount and no recourse or customer service. Do NOT buy from them. They wouldn't even let me resell the tickets
Firstly, I thought that I was buying tickets directly from The Grand Ol Opry on Feb 4th for March 25th tickets. I realized it wasn't when I received my receipt for 4 tickets. I received an order summary and then an order confirmation from AXS Mobile ID. I downloaded the AXS Mobile app set up my account and my QRcode appeared for my order or so I thought. On 3.21.23 I received a call from Ticket Center stating that the seller did not have my tickets and that I could get standing room tickets instead. My friends and I are going to Nashville on Thursday 3.23. How misleading! I feel as though I was scammed. My credit card was charged for the 4 tickets in the balcony. The lady from Ticket Center told me that I could cancel and get a refund. Imagine paying for balcony seats and then having to stand for 2 hrs! I will never purchase tickets from this site again. Make sure when purchasing tickets you are working with a reputable company.
This company is worthless ripping off people. This should be illegal what they're doing, manipulating people. They can all go to hell!
This site allows sales of tickets that are not even on sale yet. The fees are outrageous ($65 per ticket) Customer service will not do anything to help remediate the issue even right after the order is placed.
Rip off I understand they are a resale ticket agency. You pay extra to get the tickets you want. You get confirmation of tickets and then they send you different tickets than you ordered. Their only response was they are valid tickets! They just give you whatever tickets they have. SPREAD THE WORD DONT BUY TICKETS FROM THEM
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! I purchased tickets by accident and immediately realized my mistake - Terrible/Rude customer service & IMPOSSIBLE to get a refund! Use a reputable ticket outlet!
Complete scam. Accepted my money, but didn't give me my tickets. Then washed their hands saying there was no order or history of my order. Still 200$ short though. ITS A SCAM, PLEASE STAY AWAY.
This site is such a scam. I bought tickets to The Cure. I found out within an hour after I bought the tickets, that the tickets are non-transferrable. I immediately contacted their chat window to get my money back. They refused as "all sales are final."...not matter what the excuse.
They are a reseller, yet they won't let you resell the same tickets that you purchased from them. Instead, they want you to go to Stub-hub, etc to resell the very same tickets they just sold to you. There is not option on their site to post your tickets for sale. Additionally, they will not deliver any tickets until the very day before the show.
SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.
The tickets they sold me looked like they where from the venue and allowed me to pick the seats. The tickets I received where no what I ordered and where not even valid tickets, this web site is a scam. Do not do business with them.
I paid over twice as much for baseball game tickets as I would have from their own website. And of course, they don't do refunds, so I'm stuck having paid way too much. A $13 processing fee per ticket? On top of the ticket mark up price for the actual seats? I will never again use this site.
They pay for SEO so they pop up first on search, then trick people into paying 2-3x the market value of tickets. Buy directly, stay far away from these criminals.
Don't use this site. They are not upfront about what they are selling and don't clearly state what you are buying. They use a very deceptive tactics to imitate venue sites. They resell tickets and will refuse any refund.
Their advice to me was, " no refund. Try and sell them online or just give them to someone else."
Total rip off.
BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
The Ticket Center is a scam, I purchased tickets for the CMA 4 day Music Festival in Nashville. They will take your money and then tell you the tickets are not available until 2 days before event date. I am not able to attend. I contacted The Ticket Center to repost and sell my ticket on there site they will not allow me resell them and they will not do it for me. Since I do not have the tickets yet with a bar code, I can not post them on Ticket Master or Stub Hub. This is crazy. I have contacted the Ticket Center Several times for some help and all I get it the run run around. Do NOT trust this site and do Not purchase tickets you will be disappointed. I spent over $7,500, $3,800 each for 2 tickets to this event which is 4 concerts over 4 days and I can not get anyone from The Ticket Center to offer any help. I just spent another 27 minutes on hold only to be hung up on what a Joke.
I purchased tickets as they were the site that came up from the venue. Tickets were twice the price and 54/added as service fee. I called to cancel 10 minutes after ordering and the refused to cancel.
I purchased these tickets 2 months in advance. Signed up for electronic transfer. I kept waiting and waiting and never received tickets. Customer service is tough because you cannot actually talk to a real person, e-mail/live chat only. They seemed very nice, but kept telling me to keep waiting. Well finally it's 24 hours before my event and I still have no tickets! Customer service promises me the "seller" will release tickets before the end of the day. I don't understand how they can take your money but then claim they have ZERO accountability for when you get your tickets. They did finally email me the tickets, and it gets sent to your TicketMaster account. You can clearly see what the "seller" paid for them and when they were purchased. I paid $385 for 3 tickets (for what ended up being terrible seats!), and saw the seller paid less than $150 for them. My event was last night and we got in fine (I felt more secure that the tickets were now in my Ticketmaster account). The ladies at the venue felt so sorry for the terrible seats (highest balcony) we were sold, that they ended up moving us closer to the stage. All of the headache and stress and not getting the tickets until the last minute, made it difficult to look forward to my event. I would never ever ever purchase from Ticket-center.com ever again. For me, it's only going to be Ticketmaster or I will NOT attend an event. Life-lesson learned! Please learn from my mistake :(
Answer: They will not refund your money. They are scam artists who mimic real ticket sites and venue box offices and take advantage of consumers. They are dishonest and horrible and should not be operating.
Answer: You have to call or chat. They aren't very good at communicating and won't if you don't try to get in contact with them.
Answer: I was unfortunate enough to innocently purchase 2 tickets to a Broadway show through Ticket Center. I assumed I was purchasing tickets from the theatre not through this third party website. I asked for a refund and they said NO so I contacted my bank, the better business bureau, and getting a lawyer. This company needs to be shut down!
Answer: It is a problem they buy the cheapest seat they can find and when they send you the seat there isn't enough time to get it resolved or a refund. GET A REFUND if you can and go to Ticket Master or another real honest site. I paid 385.00 for a great seat yes one seat and deceived a 65.00 garbage seat in the back.
