Never again! Sent in 2,2 piece dresses, and on the site, I see the items were all listed separately! When I asked why they separated them, I was told they get more money that way! What? The top pieces were in a completely different section, so how would you know? And they have one of the top pieces of a dress listed as a top, and it is short, scalloped and could never be worn with anything else! They sold the dress and I got 5 bucks! The dress was brand new with tags! Give it away, sell it on another site and save yourself aggravation!

Being in my late 20s the time had come to want to improve and update my wardrobe. I don't have a lot to spend on myself but want to look good. Thredup has saved me! I get endless compliments and point everyone in that direction! Everything I have received has matched their description perfectly. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish returning was a little easier and not such a short window of time to do it in! I have a serious addiction to buying from here and I'm completely happy with what I get! The only need for returns have been fitting issues. Shop Thredup and have fun!

I absolutely love ThredUP - This is pretty much my new go-to when looking for quality/price clothes/shoes! I have made a few purchases and I have not yet been disappointed with the experience. The 'free return shipping' is great too if something does not fit for some reason and you want to return it. I recently sent them a few items to sell as well instead of dropping them off at Goodwill. You will not get 'rich' by doing so but you will make more than giving it away and you get store credit.

I sent in a bag full of clothes that I made sure were all things they would accept. I didn't choose Return Assurance because it is over $12 and I figured I would probably only be getting around $40 or so. They ended up accepting only 12 things and only giving me $10. I was slightly annoyed by that but figured at least all the rest was going to charity as they lead you to believe. When I looked more into what they do with the clothes they don't buy from you, I learned that they actually sell it to someone else! After they got it from you for free! "We have high quality standards and typically accept less than 40% of the clothing we receive. Items that are still in great shape but dont meet the thredUP standards are sold to third party sellers." You're better off selling yourself or donating to a reputable charity.

Very Disappointed when I had the occasion to call the customer service dept in which you are auto forwarded to a voicemail and directed to leave message and await reply. I emailed AND left message minutes after my order was placed and needed something corrected and did not receive any kind of reply until the next afternoon in which I received an email telling me my order had been completed and they could not help me with correction. When I expressed my disappointment and requested communications from a manager I received an email from the same customer service rep reiterating it was too late to help me. Very disappointing especially when I very much enjoy the product and will now have to stop being a patron as I don't want to do business with a company that obviously puts it's customers last.

I used thred up for the first time a few years ago. My daughter has a lot of nice clothes that she barely wears. I would send in items they accept, get a decent (not good, decent) credit. The reimbursement I have received for recently sent in itmes is significantly lower than before. I will never use thred up again. I just purchased something with my credit and I'm done! They give you peanuts for your nice items. You would be better off selling them on Craigslist or eBay. Personally, I am going to donate my itmes from now on rather than deal with this company.
