I received a referral coupon to ThredUp. Loved browsing the site and bought myself some close to new items with a little extra cash I had and the coupon. The items were great and the return for 1 item was easy!

I thought I could make this a regular thing by sending them my still nice clothes that I no longer wear. I sent them HUGE clean out bag of things. Gap, Mini Boden, Old Navy, etc. Not everything was name brand, but you get the idea. ThredUp paid me 80 CENTS... not dollars... CENTS for the whole bag, and if I want my stuff back, I pay THEM 13 dollars. I was devastated. I don't have the money to get my things back so I can sell them elsewhere and I have a whole 80 cents to show for it.

I received an email asking how my experience was, and I responded the same day, communicating my disappointment. I have had no response yet. Please stay away! Not a good place to sell your things.
