I have been using thredUP for quite a while now, but was recently charged a more for the shipping and handling of their clean up bag that what my items were apparently worth. Since they give you very little for what they do accept, your payout may not even cover the cost of shipping. I probably will not be sending them items to sell again.
Everything I've ordered has been exactly as described, shipping is quick, and everything is gorgeous. Would like to see some reduced shipping charges for frequent orders, though.
All my daughters fun clothes come from ThredUp. They're always clean and in great condition. Like new.

A wonderful place for quality clothes at an affordable price! I love that most clothes include measurements! Very convenient when I'm not sure if I will fit into a size 2 or 6 or a xs or medium!
I recently bought 4 items. Only one is returnable/exchangeable.
The cords were described as new looking but when I got them the seat was completely worn out (fabric was actually missing). Second, one shirt I purchased also described as new looking, was pilly on the sides.
I realize these items are used and I'm ok with it, but I'd rather know upfront what the specific defects are so I know what to expect.
Other items are good! I wish I could return one because it didn't fit (and is actually new) but it's not returnable.

After realizing all my fall/winter work outfits were several years old and very, very worn, I figured I'd try thredUP to add some new life to my wardrobe. I somehow found 8 beautiful dresses, all of which fit impeccably and are exactly as described. It might not be as immediately gratifying as finding that perfect dress tucked away in your favorite second hand store - but it's a heck of a lot easier, and there's so much choice!

I intentionally bought only clothes from the "almost new" category, but when I got them 3 of the 4 pieces were either missing buttons or had buttons that were so loose I had to sew them back on. And one pair of pants looks like I've owned and worn them for 5 years. I will not trust the quality of ThredUp again.

I live on a small island with little choices for shopping, so absolutely LOVE thredUP! My order was so big this time that it came in a huge brown box. I live in hawaii and the shipping was only two weeks. For free, I am not complaining. I needed to update my mini skirts and swimwear. I purchased 10 skirts and 2 swimwear and my total was only $90. On my island I would be lucky to get 2 new skirts or one swimsuit for that price. Everything arrives clean and ready to wear. Can't wait to show off all my new clothing. Don't hesitate to make an order. You will be very satisfied! I have yet to return an item.
