I have never experienced an issue ordering from Pink Lily until I ordered a sweater recently. They have lied to me from the moment I ordered. I am being told that it is shipped and on its way to me however USPS has told me they never received the package in order to ship to me. How does Pink Lily know something is going to get to me before the holiday when USPS doesn't even have history of the package existing. Disappointing and fraudulent. DO NOT ORDER THIS IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO RECEIVE IT.

This store has incredible cheap clothing. They shrink after you hand wash/air dry (even though the instructions tell you to do that). They have HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I ordered from this site a while back and then didn't forever and I now I remember why, the clothes are overpriced for the low quality and the return process sucks. They don't offer refunds, and they don't offer any return assistance so the return process is super expensive and the time between sending the package and getting your STORE CREDIT not refund takes forever. Now I have $400 locked up in this dump and it's probably going to take me 6 months and $100's of dollars in return fees to go back and forth and spend this worthless credit.
DO NOT BOTHER! There are so many great online stores that offer free shipping, easy and free returns and refunds.

I so wish I had taken the time to read reviews of this company instead of just looking at all the cute clothes their influencers wear on Instagram. They clearly give clothes that actually fit right and that photograph not cheaply to these people and if I'd read reviews, it would have saved me losing $90 to this company. One Romper I ordered was so short you could see the entire bottom of my butt and I am barely 5ft 4in. The jumpsuit I ordered was made of such cheap material that in the two minutes I was trying it on, there were impressions in the legs from my knees when I walked. I was going out of town the next day (why I ordered these items) so I didn't get around to returning them. When I came back from my trip and finally got back around looking at these clothes I see you only have 14 days to return them and you can't even get your money back. It's for a store credit. Why would I want to spend my own money to ship these clothes back if I only get a store credit for a place where I don't even want the cheap clothes? But that is exactly why they have their return policy the way they do. Cause they know most people will forget within 14 days or won't bother since it's only for store credit and so they can pump out terrible, cheap clothes.

My experience with a return was terrible. I was willing to send my item back on my dime, for store credit as I thoroughly read their return policy and I expected that. However they wouldn't even allow me to return it to them "because of their hidden sale price" which evidently makes any item on sale, final sale. Also nowhere is the final sale stated on the product page. You have to decode multiple paragraphs from a totally separate page to understand basically anything on sale is non returnable even for store credit.

FYI for customers having issues with their deliveries not being received - because that seems to be a common issue I'm reading about. If they did not request a signature at delivery and you did not get your package, the company has the responsibility to either replace or credit you. If they refuse to replace or credit without a signature at delivery, all you need to do is dispute the charge. The credit card company will always rule in the cardholder favor if the company chose to not add signature required to the package. Don't Listen to their poorly written policy on how they are not responsible - they 100% are and it is common shipping responsibility knowledge that they are trying to pawn off as someone else's responsibility. Don't waste your time with them because their customer service is non existent and clearly uneducated in basic service responsibility; let your credit card take your money back without hassle.

I ordered a top from this company and when it arrived it was made of cheap, scratchy material. I am a Medium and can order from any website and a M always fits. This was too tight in the arms and too baggy at the bottom. Now the kicker... if you want to return OR exchange your item you are screwed at every level. If you choose to return it, you will NOT get your money back you get a store credit. If you want to exchange it, you send it back at YOUR own COST, then REPAY for them to ship it back to you! That is the MOST ridiculous policy I have ever heard of. At least in an exchange you should not have to pay both times sending it back and then paying to have them send it to you! There is absolutely no cost to them whatsoever for shipping... Total ripoff! There is no return label, no phone number to call them, it's all done via email, and they have not responded to any email I have sent. I got a store credit which I gave to my daughter, but it is just wrong on every business level to not refund money on a purchase. It's not related to a time from the order, this is it for every order. I have talked to a few other people who have ordered from them and their complaints were the same as mine. I would never, ever use this company again. Between the cheap products and customer service there are SO many other places to get clothes from. Also, when I wrote a review on the top I ordered, it never appeared on the review list. Evidently they only publish the "good" ones!

Terrible Customer Service
November 23, 2016

I have ordered from the boutique for years! Half my closet is from Pink Lilly. Recently I ordered a cardigan, shirt and tank. I received my shirt and tank, I waited about a week thinking they got shipped separately. I emailed their customer service and was told they forgot to ship it., but didn't forget to charge my credit card. About a week later I got my cardigan with a hole and snags. I took pictures and sent it to them. Their response was that they checked it before they shipped it and would send me a return label. They also said it was out of stock so I could get a refund once they received the mecrchandise. I am not looking for a handout, heck I worked in retail for years. What I can tell you is this is terrible customer service. I emailed and asked if they had anything similar and their response was no, i then asked why I needed to go to the crazy post office because of their merchandise. They have cute stuff. But after comparing I believe they are a cheaper version of The Modern Vibtage Boutique. So just a heads up.

As a follow up from my prior review, when I reported this business to the BBB they provided me a refund. But that's what it took.

This company boasts thousands of 5 star reviews on its site, but it has 24 BBB complaints (including the one I just filed) and 47 complaints here. And there is no way to leave a review on its site. That's problem one. Next, the boots I ordered arrived so badly packaged the shoe box was gouged and one of the boots was damaged. Also, the color was entirely different than the color pictured on the site. So I began a return. Nope. 1) can't return anything you used a discount code towards, 2) no responsibility for items damaged in shipping or different colors than pictured, 3) any return must be double boxed, and 4) any return allowed is for store credit only. I give up. I'll keep the boots - will wear with other colors, and the distress finish makes the gouge less obvious. But I'll never shop there again and I feel the responsibility to warn others.

Beware!

This company has by far the worst customer Service I've ever dealt with in my life. They take DAYS to respond to anything, and then when they do it's half $#*! excuses. Most of the clothing I've bought from there has been paper thin, horrible material, and extremely over priced. When you return something they charge $6 for shipping, which is standard I gusss. Then you don't even get your money back, you get STORE CREDIT! You have to go through the entire unfortunate process of dealing with their slow shipping. Don't even bother getting something personalized because you will be waiting A WHILE. I'm currently waiting on a shirt I ordered 3 weeks ago.

My most recent experience is with the returns though, they have had my return for 3 days and have yet to process it. I still have yet to get my "store credit." It's pathetic, and when I got the shirt I returned, I wanted to get on and write a review on how I didn't like the shirt. It was paper thin, see through, very flowy. I, like most People, decide if I want to buy a shirt based on reviews. Well they don't allow bad reviews at all. They immediately delete any bad reviews on the website, and immediately delete negative comments on their social media platforms. After I use my dreaded store credit I will NEVER shop at this sad excuse for a business again. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND HEADACHE!

I placed an order with the Pink Lily on 3/5/19, on 3/11/19 USPS stated the order was delivered and "left with an individual" at the location, which it was not. On 3/12/19 I emailed customer support and was provided with the following instructions - "... you would need to call your post office and have them open a case on the package. With this, they are able to pull up the exact location the mail carrier took the order to. If they find they did deliver it to you, you would file a theft report with your local police station, because that means it was stolen. If they find that they delivered it incorrectly, they will attempt to retrieve it back or we will file a claim." They never offered to help resolve the issue, or contact the post office as well, and they NEVER followed up to see if I was able to resolve the issue. So I contacted the post office, opened a case and have been dealing with them (USPS) since 3/12 to try and get a resolution on where my shipment is. On 4/8/19 my order was *randomly* delivered, but the earrings were not inside the shipment. I contacted Pink Lily customer service immediately on 4/8/19 and have yet to get a response. I also commented on a picture on their Instagram feed detailing my issue, Pink Lily responded and told me to call their office, and other people chimed in with their customer service frustrations. All the negative comments were eventually deleted by Pink Lily. This company is shady and has a TERRIBLE customer service policy. I would advise anyone to spend the extra money and order from a reputable brand where your customer service issues are handled respectfully and timely.
