“Amazing”

I had an amazing first experience with SudShare and I will definitely use them again. They heard my situation and they were kind enough to do all that they can to make sure that the clothes were clean. I don't have a washer and with my situation I tried to wash by hand lol. I did too much and they ended up getting moldy. My clothes are now nicely folded and they smell AMAZING. Thank you Zachary - Naarah Lloyd

“Scam! They stole my clothes”

Domenica S.

Terrible service! First time using this app and never again. I won't recommend it to anyone. I will leave reviews so people is aware of this scam app. They gave me back all my clothes except for my new and expensive blanket, what a coincidence that's the only thing missing? There's not even a number to call neither an email to write just a chatting support that is not even responsive! This is awful! I make sure I weighted it before they picked up and it was 19 pounds, they gave me back just 15 pounds.

This company has no customer service and when things are good it's great but beware if there is a problem. There is no one who will handle it. I have white towels that are grey and comforter/shams that are so badly wrinkled you cannot iron it out.I have contacted them by phone and emails and sent these pictures to them and they do nothing. They told me that they do not provide ironing service. I did not expect that -but assumed that they would not be cramming comforter into a too small washer/ drier and leaving it there. AWFUL if you have a problem.

Be aware!!

I trusted this scammers with my designer clothes believing in their garment protection plan. My laundry came back totally ruined with motor oil, dirt and dust. It was extremely wrinkled too.
Tried to reach the customer service for resolution however they have been ignoring my tests and being totally unresponsive.

I had used them for over a year without issues. Now I get a large order back smelling of heavy smoke. I let them know and they told me the only thing they would do is let me place a second order and they would then decide, at their discretion, whether they wanted to refund the second order. Smell is subjective and thus this is their scam. Charge you a second time, and then hide behind their fine print. I won't be using them again.

It is a shame that 1 poor experience after many positives has to be posted because management won't respond. I have been thrilled with this service for almost 1 year now. Laundry always delivered to my door, hung, folded neatly. My last experience was as if a gorilla did my laundry. Nothing folded, nothing hung as instructed and clothes thrown damp wodded in balls in plastic bags. It looked like they were thrown at my door from a car going at a high rate of speed. I have reached out to corporate many times to no avail. It was nice while it lasted.

Our sudster lost three bags of clothing when her car hatchback opened while on the highway. The bags were never recovered and a police report was filed. She was very sorry and we don't blame her, but the company offers NOTHING to replace our clothing. 10 pairs of pants/leggings, 5 girls' dresses, bras, underwear, and lots of expensive athleisure wear. The only credit for having Premium insurance coverage is for future washes, but there is NO REPLACEMENT VALUE when they lose your clothing. Buyer beware!

I initially signed up out of boredom. I received maybe 2 job offers a week. My retired spouse decided to sign up and make money.
After he TRIED TO sign up for work as a 1099, the company let me know that he could not work for them because we lived in same home.
Discrimination?
You decide.
Now since we have had that information sent to us, I have not received 1 offer.
Retaliation?
All I can say is look on the BBB. This company really, really must suck.
I see lots of complaints about stolen clothes, orders not being delivered on time.
And the company can't be sued...you signed the contract folks. You're screwed.

I worked for this company almost a year, without complaints. I didn't understand why on the app we're not aware customers have animals. I felt the company didn't care about employees to add that link in with other requests. Customers should be charged more when they have animals! My experience with the company towards the end was horrible! I was getting laundry that was covered with dog hair and cat feces! I couldn't reach a manager to discuss situations until there was a complaint! I ended my employment!

This company us full of lies. No longer known by Sudshare but as Polin now and they are scam artists. Like about how much one person can earn in one month, silence lps from sharing the truth and delete and deactivate those who are verbal about it. They also keep people's money after letting them go.

They quoted me 46.91 for 3 medium sized baskets. I was okay with this because I got a break from laundry. So they pre-authorized that amount for my bank. Pick up ended up being almost 2 hours later than it was supposed to be. Then the next day when our laundry was done they claimed three medium sized baskets was 72.7 pounds! And charged me that amount. They can basically say the clothes weigh whatever they want and there is nothing you can do about it or they hold your clothing hostage! I went on their app for help with the situation and after almost 2 hours I was told I was going to be given a 20 dollar credit to use towards the amount since this was my first time using the service. Except once I was transferred to a higher tiered agent named Leo who could not have been more condescending and rude, he told me he refused to allow me to use the credit for this order but that once I paid I would be refunded the 20 dollars and to let him know in the support app when I paid. So once I paid I contacted the support app to get the refund and no one would respond to me. Total scan artists! I was so excited to use this service and now I'm so angry and will never use their service again and will warn everyone I can. Terrible!

Tip for consumers:
They are liars and scammers!

Customer service never on side of the worker. If a worker has a problem with a customer customer service is very slow to respond and when they do it doesn't feel like they are on the side of the worker. If a customer leaves a review that's an out right lie & documented (customer service can see messages passed from worker to customer) they still won't make the matter right with the worker. The work is difficult enough (gas and time in car being biggest cut into profits) adding poor support to the mix.

I hadn't planned to write a review until today, when I finally saw the other items I hadn't yet checked. I'm not ever wanting to take business away from hardworking individuals, so I hesitated to post any about my sudster's "work." However, it's clear she didn't actually do any - at least not what I paid for, nor the results that SudShare purports on their website.

Yesterday, my clothes were delivered showing absolutely no signs of cleaning. After sending photos to SudShare, to their credit, they did provide good customer service and offered to comp a re-do.
Unfortunately, I had not yet unfolded the sheets and towels, at that point, so now it's too late to get those re-done. The linens and towels that I sent to the Sudster were for my out-of-town guest arriving this evening, and which were my best ones - to make a good impression on my her, of course. I don't have many nice linens and towels, so it was important to me that these be presentable. Beyond the clothes (that looked like not an ounce of detergent had touched them), my once white and ivory towels are now grey and murky, and the sheets - same as the rest, not a shred of cleaning evidence. I'm too embarrassed to put these towels and sheets out, and again, they were my only nice ones.

My things smelt like my fabric softener, so I don't believe that my Sudster used any detergent, and I also KNOW she washed darks with lights.

Icing on the cake? Everything was returned damp, and she forgot to bring back my store-bought, canvas laundry container and a nearly full bottle of fabric softener.

I've given SudShare at least 3 occasions to make me a loyal customer - something I am committed to becoming for many businesses. I live in a very conscious neighbourhood that supports local businesses, and I know how important that is. That said, the first two times, things were returned with lint, missing items, and crinkled up in a bag - all the socks. No big on that last one, but the former two...? Should've been a dealbreaker, but I kept thinking it was a one-off.

At this point, I would rather pay more than have to go through this headache again. And the thing with SudShare is - you never know who you're going to get, whether or not they've been trained, are sober when doing your laundry... etc. Etc.

Tip for consumers:
The only tip I have for you is to be aware that you have no control over the situation - you can get any person, and you've no idea how much experience or training they may or may not have. It is a gamble. They do this from their own homes, could be high when working, and no matter what, they are not held accountable for their mistakes - they don't pay for them. We do. Run the other way, if you're not a risk taker.

Don't use This app! They lost my clothes and they don't have customer service you can speak with. You have to chat to speak with someone, My laundry was taken on 2 weeks ago. My laundry was the next day, I have been chatting with the company for 2 weeks and I am getting the run around. Save yourself some time and money and don't use this company.

Doesn't deserve any stars at all. In NY (Suffolk county) I ordered 3 bags of laundry to be picked up on a Sunday and washed for my elderly parents. In the app Armando says he picked up. I have a young lady on the ring camera picking up. And then a day later in the app it says he returned 5 bags at 9:57pm but nothing was ever put back on my doorstep. I've been trying to contact and email them for days and they said they would email me back and nothing.

There is no evidence of return. No bags left anywhere. They charged my card and nothing was returned. My parents' sheets and towels were never returned.

Where are my items? And I can't get in touch with the person to find out. This service should be out of business. It is extremely upsetting and no customer service to get some resolve. It's a true scam. STAY AWAY! I use them in Maryland with no problems. So I don't understand New York SudShare.

Stay Away! Get this company shut down!

The first time I used them they lost half of my clothes. They gave me $200 in credit but that did not pay for things that I could never replace the next time I used them one of my towels came back yellow. They had already lost half of those towels with the first order and now I only have one that is decent, and that was a gift from my mother that will never be replaced. Third time they charge me double because they said I asked for same-day service which I did not and then gave me a $10 credit after basically stealing $40 and let's talk about customer service. I think the last person I talk to you was a surfer dude and when I asked to talk to the manager, he said well the manager is just going to tell you what I said… he would not let me talk to a manager instead the manager sent me an email and that's when I get my $10 credit. That same order there are several things missing from my laundry after they returned it.they are the worst! Mind you I was very excited about the service.I don't have a washer and dryer or time to go to the laundry mat. I am so disappointed. Yes, they are very inexpensive, but they are also incredibly incompetent. I have no recourse because there's nobody to hold accountable.

My laundry was picked up and the next day I received someone else laundry mixed in with mine and some of my clothes were missing. I contacted support. Was told over and over, day after day, that I would get my laundry back and that the other person's laundry would be picked up same day. This has gone on for days. I have not once received communication from the company itself, only automated zen desk emails.

I requested protection plan coverage but SudShare is unresponsive. Can't file a police report, because I don't have sudster name etc.

Sudster took my laundry and SudShare took my money and hung me out to dry. On top of that SudShare told me to put the other persons laundry on my front steps and has left it there for days.

If you are considering this service-stay away. How long before there is a problem and you get hung out to dry?

Tip for consumers:
Zero accountability. Predatory company.

ONE LINE SUMMARY:
After my clothing was stolen by the person they sent to pick up my clothing, I learned Sudster explicitly states in their terms of service that they aren't responsible at all for anything that happens to anybody's clothing, and I unknowingly agreed that I'm not legally allowed to take them to court.

MORE DETAILED VERSION:
I had 44 lbs of laundry picked up by the person Sudshare sent to my home. That person stole my clothing and would neither reply to me nor Sudshare. Sudshare wrote that I should file a police report, but that they aren't responsible for the stolen clothing. They wrote that they are a "marketplace" and that they don't hire the person doing laundry, even though I have no information or choice about the person doing my laundry. Why do I say wrote? Because they have no phone number to talk to anyone and refuse to talk via phone about the issue.

Essentially, anyone using their app is trusting a complete stranger to clean their clothing and bring it back, because the company will not reimburse you if your clothing is stolen. Reading other reviews, it seems I'm not the person this has happened to.

In order to use the app, you have to sign their initial waiver. Most of us automatically sign waivers instead of reading the 20 page document. The waiver essentially says they're not responsible for any loss or damage. Quoted from the terms of service, "SudShare and its affiliates do not guarantee [...] the result of any laundry services [and] Sudshare and its affiliates are not responsible for any delays, delivery failures or other damages, liabilities or losses resulting from such problems." Don't take my word for it. The terms of service are on their website, via a tiny link on the bottom of their main page.

Not only do they not take responsibility, but you can't even take them to court. The terms of service agreement also says, "You and Sudshare mutually agree to resolve any and all covered justiciable disputes between the Parties exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration instead of a court or jury trial." The thing is, that arbitration can cost thousands of dollars since you'd have to be paying an arbiter for every hour they work on the case. Arbiters can run hundreds of dollars an hour.

Finally, I paid for $500 of clothing insurance, in case some of my clothing is damaged while washing. This will not nearly cover the more than $2000 lost from those 44lbs being stolen. To add insult to injury, in order to get the $500 I am owed, the are asking me to sign a long release saying things like that I can't "at any time engage in any form of conduct, or encourage others to engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that disparage or otherwise impair the reputation, goodwill or commercial interests of Releasee".

So essentially in order to use the app you're legally agreeing that they are not responsible for absolutely anything that happens to your clothes, that you can't take them to court, and if you accept the insurance you paid for then you'll have to sign a long waiver surrendering even your right to talk about it.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this site or trust a total stranger who's earning a barely livable wage to do with your clothing as they please.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by a man using a Maryland number and calling himself Muneeb. He said he noticed I had a mobile massage therapy business and offered me a $20 credit to try the Sudshare app. Since I had just moved and was trying to find a new wash n fold place for my business sheets, I decided to give Sudshare a try. I did tell Muneeb that the laundry bag to be picked up would be filled with plastic bags that each contained one post-session sheet set. I asked if it would be a problem that each bag had a dried, used disinfectant sheet in it. I explained they were used to wipe the table off once sheets had been removed. Muneeb said it shouldn't be a problem but that I could always message the "sudster" through the app, which I did. There was no response to that message. Laundry was cleaned and returned, so I thought everything was fine. Two weeks later, I ordered a second laundry pick-up, and when the app asked if I wanted ro re-hire the same Sudster, I thought "why not?" and selected him.

The Sudster collected my laundry on tuesday, and the app said it would be returned by Thursday at 8pm. I had timed this so that I would have them back before mother day weekend, which is busy for massage therapists. When my linens weren't back by Thursday at 9pm, I messaged the "Sudster," who didn't respond. The next morning, the Sudster responded saying he hadn't washed my linens and was going to return them because he had already asked me in writing not to leave disinfectant wipes in the laundry, as it wasn't fair to him as a worker. He stated he had reported me to the app. I told him I had never received any such message from him asking me not to put the disinfectant wipes in the bags, reiterated that they were ONLY used on the table and asked him to take a screenshot of the message he had sent me. Which of course he could not do. I don't know if he is a liar or if the app just isn't delivering messages but my response.to him should have ended things. He should have simply returned my laundry as he said he would.

Here it is nearly FIVE days later. The Sudster still hasn't return my laundry but continues to send condescending messages lecturing me about covid and how unfair I was to him as a worker. I am actually worried that he's so crazy AND has my address! Mothers Day is tomorrow, and I haven't had sheets to work all weekend.

Sudshare has cost me hundreds in business revenue, not to mention business equipment and emotional stress.
The "help" link in the app is useless. It directs you to call a number that has a recording saying to hang up and they will text you. But then when you text your complaint, they don't respond. I tried it more than once. I called Muneeb in Maryland, the guy who initially contacted me to ask me to try the app. In both conversations I had with him, he pretended to be concerned but then said he would look into and called me back... and never did. I texted him too, sending my venmo link and asking that he send $132 to replace my 8 sheet set. Nothing. NEVER EVER USE THEM! YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY!
