Website Sucks

My tickets were never posted on the StubHubs site, there was not a text telling or email letting me know me that I had to go through another website to get my tickets. Had to call them four times because only one had a scalable barcode. Do you have any idea how inconvenient this was standing outside of a stadium having to deal with this AFTER I spoke to them a repeated number of times. We will never use these guys again. Had better luck with SeatGeek.

Apprehensive about buying $500 concert tickets but I must say it has been the best experience. I ordered tickets for UPS delivery. Hard copy tickets not pdf or email tickets which can be scammed. Tickets arrived in 2 days exact location section and seats as described. I will definitely highly recommend stubhub and I will definitely be using again!

Buyer and seller beware
December 5, 2022

Bought tickets, turnaround to resell tickets, Stub Hub found a buyer but unable to complete the resale because I experienced a technical issue with uploading bar code number on their website. Stub Hub had sent the issue of the "escalation group" to fix. Weeks passed by without it being worked, I called in to follow up, they advised me "they will not work on my issue till 2 days before event because they have other events that is happening sooner to work first". Called again 1 day before event, they hung up on me after being on hold for 21 minutes. The next day, day of the event I received notification that the sale was canceled because I did not upload the bar code in time. Unacceptable and will not use Stub Hub again...EVER. Worst experience ever.

I ordered tickets back in August to the Washington capitals game for my boyfriends birthday. When it got closer to the game day I still had not received my tickets (they were supposed to be mailed), I called and talked to a supervisor and he assured me that the tickets would be here today (the game is tomorrow) and they have not arrived. When I checked my tracking # on ups it says my tickets will be here tomorrow, the day of the game! Thankfully I only live about an hour away from dc but if the tickets are not here by tomorrow afternoon I will be calling and demanding a refund. I will never order tickets from this website ever again. It's nothing but a scam and a way to take advantage of people!

I bought concert tickets more than a month before the date of a concert my son was planning to attend. Two days before the concert I still had not received my tickets so I called Stubhub. I held on the line for 15 minutes while they researched my order and proceeded to tell me they did not have tickets for this concert. Had I known this weeks earlier I could have bought tickets somewhere else. I can't believe a company can sell tickets they don't even have. So far my credit card has not been refunded. I will never purchase from them again!

Buyer Beware - Stubhub Tickets
October 20, 2023

Read all the fine print - getting refund for cancelled events is a nightmare. You will be put on hold for a very long time if you try to speak to a human. Refund is only provided if the event is cancelled. My event was postponed for 1 full year which I cannot attend. Only choice they give you is to List the tickets back on Stubhub to sell. If they sell, I get my money after the event! Not after the sell of the tickets. The event may keep postponing - not sure if I will ever see my money?

Was kinda hesitant to buy tickets for a travis scott show after reading all the bad reviews. Will now not hesitate to buy again. Purchasing them was easy. Called to make sure my 3 tickets were good, and was assisted by a polite rep. Tickets were great

I posted my ticket on stub hub and sold it a few days later. I was so thrilled. I opened the email and followed the directions precisely. Well two days later I get an email saying the seller didn't receive his ticket on time and therefore he gets his refunded money back and it get charged 40% of the ticket price.

No one knows where this 140 dollar ticket is and it event has since passed. I did everything I was suppose to do but stub hub is REFUSING to reimburse me for this and REFUSING to take the extra charge off. I thinking about filing a lawsuit.

Don't sell here

Don't sell here. They have no problem whatsoever screwing you out of your money. The customer is always right, even when the customer is blatantly wrong. Contacting customer service is no help, as they don't communicate with each other or you. Each phone call generates a different answer to the same question.

Payments delayed

I sold two tickets, and they told me I should expect payment between 5 to 8 business days. I called the 5th business day to check, and the agent told me everything was in order, and I should wait three more days for payment. I waited four days. I called, and the agent told me that the payment would be processed that day, and I should receive an email. Since I did not receive the email, I called the next day again, and the agent told me I needed to send proof that I transferred the tickets and I should wait again for 5 to 8 business days for the payment to process.
This is a joke; why don't say include proof of transfer from the very beginning. They charge a 10% commission for nothing and they don't pay on time.

The whole process

I chose the wrong time for my tickets and realized it within 10 min. They would not help me correct the problem. They are hands off - meaning there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ended having to buy the same tickets again - and they did not resell the 1st set of tickets. To my knowledge - they never made it to the outside world that they were available. I don't trust their marketing for ticket resales, I don't appreciate the lack of service, and I will never utilize them again. It's a scam…

Fees refund
May 20, 2023

I wanted to claim for the fees I've paid for the Bruce Springsteen tickets. The fact is that tickets were sent 7 hours before the concert. You were supposed to send them the 8th of May. Tickets had my name on it so I had difficulties to sell them and lost my money. At the same time I got charged by stubhub.com 200 dollars of fees. Please refund my money

Suckered again!

It is outrageous that StubHub and Viagogo are allowed to operate. I didn't realize I was in their webpage to purchase a ticket for a local concert. Price of tickets around $25-35 I was swindled for $115 for a ticket then $38 fee to StubHub for a total of $153! I have no ideas why the seller who paid $26 chose to sell it for $115… I am irritated with myself that I didn't realize I was on this website. I was in a hurry. I advise others to avoid these two horrible sites that will steal your money.

I bought two tickets from StubHub for a concert in Toronto. The concert was scheduled to happen on April 21st and it was postponed, I only got the notification 2 days before the show. Since I don't live in Toronto, I booked accommodations which I couldn't cancel with such short notice. I called StubHub's customer service and they say they won't reimburse my tickets because it's their policy to reimburse only when the event is cancelled. StubHub, shame on you!, you should reveal this policy before people purchase tickets from. You need to disclose all the terms in advance. Your policy is not respectful of the consumer, those of us who don't live where the event is taking place and it's cancelled last minute, have to make in additional expenses that are lost, because you don't deliver. I hope you'll review this policy.

Posted 2 tickets on Ebay and they went up to £130 before the auction had finished so would have gone higher - but Ebay removed the auction and forced me to use stub hub - worst experience ever - its a dutch auction so you dont know you will sell until the price lowers enough for someone to bid or even if they will sell at all, no idea how many people are watching your tickets and no stats on how many people have viewed your auction. Fees are very expensive when you do sell. You are forced to send tickets by UPS. Even when you sell you do not get the money until 5-8 days afetr the event has taken place. Worst experience of selling something

I bought tickets to the game that I'm flying to on July 24th and still don't have the tickets two days before I fly out. I've called over six times now, and I have to start over with my issues each time. I always buy tickets and use Ticketmaster 90% of the time, which has now moved to 100% of the time. I've never had a customer service rep talk to me like I'm an idiot. When I speak to a supervisor, they apologize for the ignorance of their staff. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Stubhub!

Second time I've purchased through Stub Hub only to be redirected to AXS to retrieve my tickets. AXS are crooks. In order to retrieve my purchase I'm directed to a random email and told I need to log in there to acquire my tickets. Kind of tough when you don't have a password for an email you've never seen before. I have a real AXS account why the heck these tickets can't be transferred there I have no idea. The first time I managed to get things squared away at the venue. I'm hoping I can do the same in a couple days. STUBHUB, you've lost a customer. You avoid culpability by claiming to be nothing more than a middle man, but you're the bastards taking my money. No more.

I purchased tickets to a football match which got cancelled due to Covid-19.
For months afterwards they refused to acknowledge the fact the match was cancelled (the claimed it's only "postponed").
At some point they agreed to refund me. I never seen the money.
In addition, It's impossible to get in touch with their customer support.

We bought tickets from them and we later found out the tickets should have been cheaper than they charged us. They raised the price to make more money. They later told us it's because we bought them so close to the event date. Well they did send them and it was only a little more but I guess they have to make money some way.

If you're okay with the price, buy from them since they were good overall. We loved the concert so thank you. My boyfriend said the seats were decent for the price. Thanks

Poor Service

Purchased concert tickets from Stubhub, was not aware until later that they were from a third party seller. The tickets were never made available for us to use. When asked why, Stubhub simply said that the seller had never sent them in despite having 2 years to do so. Stubhub then refused to contact the seller to obtain the tickets as it was "aGaInSt ThEiR BuSiNeSs PoLiCy". The manager for the night was Cristopher M. And he was less than helpful with anything we asked from him, and danced around every question we asked, at one point giving us reasons why we should continue to buy from them. There is zero accountability with this business, they failed to provide the services they promised and refused to take responsibility for any of their actions. There were about 200 other concert goers having issues with their tickets that night, all the ones near us were also from Stubhub, every single one. Will never be purchasing tickets through Stubhub again.
