So we had concert tickets bought three weeks prior to the event. They were available on the app the day prior, but not the day of. We spent an hour trying to figure out where to get the E tickets to no avail. We were then promised that we would get a refund +20% overage due to having to buy the tickets again for the next day. Fast forward three weeks, there was a coupon issued. Unfortunately, that's not what was promised. So I went to the legal team in San Francisco via mail, explaining my situation and our amazing track record with them for concert tickets. The long short of it is, they made it right. They refunded our money minus the 20% inflation. Which was fine… sometimes you have to fight for principle. But overall, after fighting, they did the right thing. So in my opinion, they get a five star review.

My husband and I recently wanted to go to a concert that we were really excited to go to. We purchased our tickets off of Stub Hub and later received a message saying that we should have gotten our tickets by now. My husband was on the phone waiting for over 2 hours and finally spoke with someone. They said that they didn't have any more tickets available and my husband asked to have his money refunded. It turns out that they charge a service fee of $50 and get their tickets through another site Ticket Master. So if you want a concert or any other tickets just go through the main website for the event or Ticket Master itself. I talked to some other friends and they have had the same issues in the past with Stub Hub

What a joke

StubHub is potentially the biggest joke of all time. Multimillion dollar company that benefits off of screwing people over. They absolutely mislead me into buying the wrong tickets for an event, flew 1300 miles for the event, just to find out I had the wrong tickets. I have done business with them before so I assumed they would like to keep a loyal customer but when I spoke to customer service they said the only option is to sell my tickets instead of making things right they did not help me at all. I have done business with Ticketmaster and they are all around much better and they will receive my service from now on. StubHub is a joke and be very careful making any purchases from them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We purchased NFL tickets a month prior to the game week of the game still no tickets. Contacted stub hub multiple times kept getting the you need to give us 2 days we will get your tickets. Finally received the oh we are unable to fill your order notice. I was told we would receive a refund. So my Boyfriend purchased tickets via a different vendor. Now stub hub sent an email trying to say we have to replace the tickets we originally had with them… when I was told we would get a refund. Very dissatisfied as tickets were over 600.00 I was hung up on by customer service, and representatives would not respond when talked to. Absolutely the worse costumer service. Avoid this company at all cost

I couldn't travel to Vegas recently. I put the tickets on sale through Stubhub. The tickets were half the price of other tickets available at the same time but for some reason my tickets did not get sold even though tickets higher in prices got sold.

My tickets could be transferred immediately online so that was not an issue. Lost two thousand dollars.

Ticket never recieved...
February 23, 2020

I recently decided to use stub hub for an event near me. I bought a parking pass and was "guarenteed" a ticket before the event. The event came and passed and still no ticket. I requested a refund through thier site and was told that they would not oblige. Dont waste your time on a little extra dollar savings when you can buy from source with a guarentee.

Paid over $1,000 to take my family to a Cubs game. Tickets on Stubhub said view was unobstructed and the photo of our section on Stubhub's website showed a clear view of the field. Got to Wrigley and couldn't see home plate since a huge post was in the way. Contacted Stubhub and was told too bad. Will never use Stubhub again.

After selling 4 spare tickets with Stubhub earlier this year for a concert on the 7th of October I was very much expecting to have received my money by now. On their website it states that you will be paid within 5-8 working days... Over 30 working days later I am still waiting for my money!

After speaking to someone last month after not receiving my payment I was told I needed to update some of my Paypal details before I could be paid, so I did. Today I spoke to someone else about not receiving my payment and I was told the reason why I had not been paid was because the payments department needed to verify my account! Not happy. He's told me to expect an email within the next 24 hours confirming my payment. However I am not hopeful this will be the end of the matter.

I certainly would not recommend Stubhub to anyone else due to the fact that their payment regulations are false and for the very poor customer service.

Do not use stubhub
July 26, 2023

I've heard this from a lot of people, but I just want to reiterate: do not use stubhub to get tickets. I was planning on going to osheaga with someone, I bought the tickets off of the site, and she bought them off of stubhub. A WEEK before the concert, stubhub informed her that they could not actually honor the tickets. By that time the show was sold out, and we had already made hotel reservations where the festival was located. Literally can't believe that's a policy stubhub has. We called to try and fix the issue, but they refused to do anything except refund the tickets, which was practically useless. Would give less than one star if I could.

Stubhub is a marketplace. That means when you buy or sell tickets, they are only the intermediary. That also means if you are a buyer and the seller never forwards their tickets, you are out of luck.

That happened to me, and although I understand StubHub isn't responsible for a flaky seller, they did not notify me about the tickets — no call, no email, no account notification.

I called an hour before the concert to learn that my tickets were unavailable.

They said they would provide a refund and small account credit.

Guess what happened next — concert started and seller finally emails the tickets. Stubhub NEVER processed a refund and NEVER provided an account credit.

I've been on the phone with them 4 times now to get things resolved. Their customer service isn't much help either.

Obviously AVOID IF YOU CAN. They will take your money then make you jump through hoops to get it back.

I purchased tickets a week ago and UPS decided to devilry them to the front door of my apartment complex at 7:20 at night however they were taken... I called StubHub and spoke to Travis who made sure before I got off the phone my issue was resolved. I got new tickets (better seats) and my new tickets were next day air. However I wish they would caught the ticket stealers...

They are scammers

I found the tickets for €153 on the website, when I paid for the tickets the price was €153, and as soon as I entered my card details and confirmed the order I got an email that I had paid for the order in the amount of $345.81 Support does not answer, there is no cancellation\refund option on the order page.
It's looks like pure scam. I would like to draw public attention to this incident, I think this is not the first case of cheating this site

I spoke with your customer service this morning and reported that the 6 tickets for the Cubs game which cost $806.36 were terrible. They were obstructed seats. This obstruction significantly diminished our enjoyment of the game. Worst of all, when I purchased the tickets, I was uninformed about this obstruction. I would never have had made this purchase if I had known. I would have chosen different seats, possibly even more expensive seats. As the seller I believe you have an obligation to inform me of this obvious problem. I am extremely disappointed with your service. All I was offered was a 20% discount on a future purchase. This is an outrageous offer. You underperformed by selling me a known defective product without consent. In way of compensation, instead of refunding my expense you ask me to spend more money with you on a future purchase with a small discount.

When I went on the stub hub web site to check out tickets. I was amazed of what a well together site this is. The seats I purchased, were exactly what the picture showed me, exactly. When they were calling for all day thunderstorms, I called stub hub 800 number, and talked to a real person. Who was willing to work out something for me. Instead, it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon and we all had the time of our life. Not everything goes as planned. But I was able to talk to a person, who was willing to listen to my concerns. Thank you for letting me share my baseball story. And I will buy a lot more tickets on stub hub. Thank you

Sad sad company

They partnered with t mobile charged more for app tickets then online to make up for t mobile Tuesday. Comes out to more with the code then online, very shady business practice and customer service will pretend like they don't know why they cost more on app then online even when you send proof, very bad company seriously everywhere else is cheaper their fees are too much

I bought tickets for an event back in June and was assured that tickets would be given to me by Sep 3. The date comes around and no tickets are available. I called multiple times and was assured that they would be here soon. A few days later i receive an email saying that seller was no longer selling their tickets. This means that I now had no tickets. I received an email that offered me a link to get new seats, but the only seats offered were lawn seats OUTSIDE of the stadium (i paid for a real seat inside back in June). The only other option was a refund, which only gives me credit, which is not helpful because i will NEVER be using StubHub again. This all happened 48 hours before the show and was very heartbreaking as I was greatly looking forward to this.

I bought two tickets for the Maroon 5 concert last night at DTE in my state of Michigan. Not sure who's exact fault the problem was but I was printed two of the same ticket so they said only one was valid to come in. I went over to the boxoffice and called stubhub on the phone, after a short wait someone was ready to help and made sure I got the other ticket which I did purchase. They emailed the order to the boxoffice and apologized for any problems several times. Even when the phone call was dropped due to service, they called back to make sure everything went through! I was impressed with their willingness to help and how polite they were since I was nervous about buying secondhand tickets! I would definitely do it again, but just make sure that you go early just in case of any issues!

This company is scam. They charge on your card without notify you. I sold my ticket but still did not get any money back past 4months. Now they are telling me I have pay them first to get my money. I didn't buy anything from them. I only sold the tickets but I owned them money somehow

I made a purchase online and after having charged me, the decided to cancel my order and sent me a series of emails indicating that the order was not made by me.

I tried to call them 3 separate times to verify that the order was in fact made by me but they hung up each time after having opened my file.

Very frustrating and never purchasing from there again!

Website Sucks
October 19, 2019

My tickets were never posted on the StubHubs site, there was not a text telling or email letting me know me that I had to go through another website to get my tickets. Had to call them four times because only one had a scalable barcode. Do you have any idea how inconvenient this was standing outside of a stadium having to deal with this AFTER I spoke to them a repeated number of times. We will never use these guys again. Had better luck with SeatGeek.
