I used StuHub to look for tickets for 3 families, 10 people. OK until had to pick seats, could not see any seat info.
I spent a lot of time explaining to our group, no one willing to take chance spending money and not know where seats are. This wasted a lot of my time and frustrated everyone.
This is terrible customer service. StubHub can easily have seat info provided and avoid putting customers thru this frustration and uncertainty.
I recommend not using StubHub until they change this policy.

I bought tickets from Stubhub to attend a Ron White show. Never received them despite sending several emails and making several calls to Stubhub Customer Service. Two days after the concert, I received an email from them that said I was a victim of fraud and they had processed a full refund to my payment method. I've called 3 times to get my refund. Each time they said I had to fill out a form and someone would call me. No one ever called. Now they refuse to give me a refund because "too much time has passed". They are thieves and liars. I will never buy anything from them again.

Stubhub helped me surprise my fiancee really well. First time using the site so I was extremely nervous. I had to pick up my tickets from their booth once I reached Pittsburgh from Tennessee. Everything went great no problems getting the tickets, the line move quickly, very organized. I was highly impressed. The only compaint I have is the tickets are so overpriced which is not the website fault. But beware of sellers overly pricing there tickets.

I pay extra to not use stubhub anymore. Their customer service is so horrible and after never receiving my tickets said they would give me replacement tickets which never came. Then they agreed to give me a credit which I also never received when I called again they said to wait 5 days. After waiting the 5 days I called again in which they said they had no record of anything and will not be making it up at all.

They not only screw the ticket buyers with their outrageous fees, I think they screw the ticket seller even more. I sold tickets through them 1 time, I can't remember the exact dollar amount that they "stole" from me, but it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-22 %. I will never use them again.

Buys Beware

Horrible experience, use another website! I bought a parking pass for the Fiesta Bowl. The pass was never accessible. The website prompted me to create an account, and I did so following all steps. Due to the issues of the website and not able to access the pass, I was unable to use it. I called customer service to seek a refund since the pass purchased was never received, and they were not helpful at all. They refuse to refund it even though I could not access it on their website. TERRIBLE! I will use other websites from now on, buyers beware!

I sold 4 tickets on Stub hub in Uk. When it came to payment they used every delay tactic they could to keep my money.
I have a verified PayPal account, they would not recognise. The customer service is absolutely shocking. Refused to allow me to speak to the complaints department or manager. Had to revert to the consumer complaints Websight! It is still ongoing.!
We need to seriously avoid this company.

Terrible
June 17, 2020

I bought tickets and my concert got cancelled. Instead of refunding me my money (186.85) they are supposedly giving me 120% credit that expires dec 2021 and I even bought the ticket insurance. I don't go to concerts enough for this to be beneficial to me and apparently there is no way they can resolve this. I am also in the military and currently pregnant. I can't leave the 50 mile radius still and tried to get my money back before they cancelled the concert, but they said I couldn't and to wait til later and I could transfer them to someone. I'm more than displeased with this company. I will never buy anything through them again!

Had an issue ordering tickets on appointment so I called in. A young lady named Lila told me that the tickets had already sold and offered me alternative seats. The alternative seats were not to my liking and weren't my preferred instant download so she dug a little deeper and found some more expensive seats but applied a $100 coupon so I could stay in my price range. The concert isn't until July 31 so I will retract this review if anything changes. So far so good

STUBHUB IS A SCAM!

Stubhub is a scam site, do not sell your tickets here. Their system glitches and causes your option that requires all tickets to be purchased together, to any number of tickets can be purchased. This glitch is common and many sellers have mentioned this to me. Someone purchased one ticket of mine, and I emailed them to cancel their purchase as it is a mistake, called Stubhub who basically said tough luck, and that I need to transfer the ticket or they will charge me. One minute later they sentd me an email that I must transfer 2 tickets even though the buyer only paid for 1... WHAT? Cancelling account, never use again!

Never Again

My bank account was debited $231.88, with no notification from StubHub, nor any emails invoicing the amount. I spoke with customer service last night, and the agent flat-out refused to connect me with a manager because she said they would tell me nothing different than what she said. This is highly unacceptable. I have also lodged a complaint with the BBB, filed a dispute with my bank, and am seeking legal advice on the matter. What kind of business takes money from your account when there was no ticket order or any other sale? What kind of business then refuses to speak with you about the matter and refuses to allow you to speak with a manager or anyone who does not read from a support script? This is a horrendous company with which I will never do business again.

Watch out for this ripoff company. Do not try selling tickets with them, they will try and scam you. Sold 2 tickets and they never paid me. Contacted them and they said the payment was rejected. They did not let me know anything was rejected and were hoping I would forget. They also removed the sale and there is no record of my account of ever selling anything. Just magically gone. Finally got their customer service to "fix" issue. Then they made a payment for me and only sent the payment for 1 ticket when 2 were sold. Shady company. Watch out! They will be reported on every scam website I can find.

Stubhub is a scam. They will list tickets that are not actually available and leave it up to the buyer to sort it out. I tried to buy tickets to a sold out event and was sent tickets to another event instead. This happened twice with the same event. Do not use this site.

I had four tickets listed for sale on StubHub for World Series game 6 in Kansas City. At 7:41 on October 28th, the day of the game, two of the tickets sold. Due to a software glitch all four tickets were taken off the buyers' view and no tickets were showing available in my section. I checked that section many times and there were never tickets available for sale the entire time (until 8:01 when I relisted them, but it was too late for them to sell). StubHub refuses to produce any documentation showing that buyers could see my tickets and they refuse to admit there might be a glitch in their system. I have made many calls an emails about this issue and finally talked to Justin, a supposed manager at StubHub. I asked him if he wanted to keep a long standing customer who has never had a complaint over many years and he told me to take a hike. Until they investigate their software problem this could happen to anyone who might want to split their tickets for sale. Beware

Stub hub is a joke... They don't sell tickets from the venue... They sell already purchased tickets that the owner no longer wants...

So you browse tickets on stubhub, pay stubhub, receive nothing but a receipt from stubhub.

The owner of the tickets you just bought from stubhub has to then deliver your purchased tickets...

Basically, you are never going to the event you just paid for because the tickets don't exist.

No venue recognizes stubhub receipts or order confirmation numbers since technically stubhub sold you nothing, they just mediated the transaction between you and already owned tickets...

Again, it is completely up to the ticket holder to deliver the tickets you paid for from stubhub...

Most never receive their tickets. Stubhub stays in business just from the sheer volume of people not willing to fight for their money back.

NEVER use stubhub, purchase tickets from the venue itself!

Bait and switch

Bait and switch, we bought box seats for Garth Brooks, the price was more than double of regular front rows seats in that section, we ended up with regular seats, they would only refund 25% of our money, we weren't the only ones this happened to, scammers to say the least.

Never Trust StubHub

I received fake tickets to Iron Maiden for my birthday. Customer service is horrible and does not care. Guarantee my $#*!. They just take a cut and do not actually own the tickets so people are free to sell you fake tickets. Do not buy from StubHub. You have been warned.

I purchased 3 tickets for rodeo Houston from them. Once they finally finished my transaction it said I had to physically go pick up the tickets so I called concerned being that I was already on my way to rodeo to just be told if I wanted electronic tickets I'd have to buy 3 more tickets which cost me 4x the original purchase price. I will never use stub hub again.

StubHub
I purchased two tickets for $82.24 on 01/20/2023 for a hocket game.
Purchased was confirmed and tickets were in my wallet in StubHub.

When arriving at the event, tickets were not viewable/downloadable.
The event was also not showing my tickets.

No customer support was available as they state "customer service all the way to your seat" is obviously not true.

In short, I needed to buy two new tickets to the event, doubling my cost.
After the event, I filed a complaint and StubHub ultimately told me to go %*ck myself.

Now, I'm left with one thing left to do, and that's to share my story about why people should not use StubHub. There are many alternatives to StubHub, alternatives that don't steal your money.

Just received 4 tickets for the PMB Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells in March. We are only able to attend one evening and were wanting the best tickets. We paid $800 for 4 tickets. When the tickets came today, the face value was $57. Really, are you kidding me? I called StubHub and they pretty much said we'll sell tickets for whatever we can. I don't see how the seller can sleep at night? Greedy, yes. I will never purchase tickets through StubHub again.
