Stubhub refuses to update their events from postponed to cancelled as a way to keep your money. Even when the celebrity announces the event is cancelled. Emailing them over and over with no response. Calling them is worse. Now they are trying to change their policy from a refund to a credit! At the time I bought the tickets the policy I agreed to included a refund for cancelled events. Will never, ever use them again and neither will anyone else I know because the same thing is happening to them. When this whole virus thing passes, the government should go after Stubhub and close them down. Even bring criminal charges against the CEO, etc.
Terrible company to do business with! Steer clear and do not ever sell anything on this web site. Buyers can lie and cancel orders due to any reason right up to the event date and then Stub Hub will charge you for the tickets the buyer canceled. All customer service people are over seas and unqualified to listen or help. NEVER do business with this sham of an outfit, Stick to Ticketmaster and or Vivid Seats. User beware!
I'm so pissed! The face value of my tickets is 1/4 of what I ended up paying for them. Then, when I realized how awful this site is and tried to sell them back, they firmly set the price well below what I had originally paid- about $150 less, per ticket. This is bull$#*!. I wish I had read about this site before using.
Stubhub is a site to professionally scam people on tickets online. It flies below the radar of legality by buying large amounts of tickets for popular events and then trying to make a buck reselling them online for a huge profit. May all beings be happy. And may the creators and maintainers of Stubhub receive their worthwhile share of karma. Looking forward to it going away.
Stub Hub told me I'm out over $200 for 2 tickets since they mailed them to my old address without any process in place to verify my mailing address. I hadn't updated my profile mailing address for many years since no tickets are ever actually mailed any more as they're all electronic. However, these 2 tickets had to be mailed but there was no verification step for me to confirm my mailing address. This is also poor considering that my credit card information had to be updated with my current billing address being very different, but yet again no confirmation to reconcile the difference in addresses. When I called after receiving an email from FEDEX that they were delivered to the wrong address Stub Hub just said I'm out of luck. Very poor system for Quality Control to ensure accurate information when they send tickets that aren't electronic and zero customer service. They just lost a customer.
Purchased baseball game tickets on June 2nd. Credit card charged immediately. No tickets sent. Poor policy to let the seller have until day of event to send tickets. Out of town family members disappointed. Game sold out and all Stub Hub did was apologize. Big thumbs down.
I purchased 4 tickets from stubhub back in November for $475.18 and was told my tickets would transfer to me electronically 24-48 hours prior to the event. I was on the phone 3 times the day before and the day of the event and was told my tickets would transfer (a total of 2 hours over 3 phone calls). After not receiving my tickets they said they would email me replacements in 15 minutes and to check my email.the email stated that replacements were not available and I could only get a refund…I'm still waiting for that. For me it's not about the money…it's about the tickets I purchased…the state lines I drove across to see this show and the travel arrangements I made for this event that stubhub took from me. They are the worst company I have ever purchased anything from and never will again. I will forever tarnish their name
I ordered tickets over 8 weeks ago! I'm still waiting waiting! The first shipment came from UPS with no tickets inside. I called their customer service and they reassured me that my tickets would be mailed again here it is a few days before my event and still no tickets. Never again!
I put thickets up there for a listing, two sold but I never received an email on where to ship them so I then get a call telling me that after not even sending me a confirmation email they were charging me a 300$ fee for not sending tickets. In the end they gave me back the fee but I would have gotten 400$ for those tickets and now I'm stuck waiting 5-10 business days for my "fee" to be put back on my card.
I bought a ticket from another vendor after StubHub that was LITERALLY half the price because of the ridiculous amount of fees StubHub charges. Their website is terrible and only shows you your tickets half the time. Also, they don't bother to let you know if a show has been postponed/cancelled while the other vendor sent me an email hours in advance. Good thing they did or else I *wouldn't have known* and would've driven an hour away for a show that wasn't happening. It's been one of the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing a concert ticket. Never again. Save yourself the headache!
Bought some tickets that said they were ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. After I take delivery, I find out the tickets are limited to people in wheelchairs. We cannot use the tickets. Nowhere during the process do I receive a warning that the tickets are limited. Stub Hub tells me to resell the tickets. I would have the list the tickets for $25 more per ticket to recover the price I paid. But that is not all. Not only does StubHub charge the buyer a fee, they also charge the seller 10% of the sales price. What rip off. Never again will I buy from StubHub.
Stub hub and Allianz are scams! Lining their pockets with money they take from you under false pretenses. Terrible customer service while robbing you. Do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration and disappointment, spend your money elsewhere!
Today we bought 4 tickets to the PFL Fight at Madison Square Garden. We are in the city for my one year anniversary and my wife was very excited to go to the fight. I spent 1.5 hours trying to find my tickets before calling customer service. The agent was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. They said our tickets could not be located and they could not provide any replacements. We flew in for this fight, bought a hotel and travelled on the subway to get to the event. Any other ticket company would be better than stub hub. I cannot express how disappointing this experience was. I would not recommend StubHub to my worst enemy. Terrible company, terrible customer service. Honestly not sure how they are still in business.
On June 2022, I bought 5 tickets to A-Ha concert at the Hollywood Bowl. I bought "Ramp-H" tickets which were close to the stage. I did not realize until the day of the concert that I was given "H" tickets which are much further away and significantly lesser in price.
I had contacted customer service at east 5 times since then. Each time they say that they will re-escalate and that they will reach out to me in 8-10 days. It is now January 5,2023. I had just given them a call again and the same answer each time.
I was trying to be understanding at first and give them the benefit of the doubt. But their lack of action tells me they are scamming to begin with. I did purchase tickets from them before and did not have issues. I even recommended them to others. But because of this experience, I will never use them again.
Terrible! I bought parking pass and ticket to ND/OSU game and the tickets were never transferred. Spent over 2 hours on the phone and all they will do is give me a refund. What about the travel to the game, lost time, etc? What a joke! Avoid this site.
Worst experience- do not trust that you will get your tickets in time OR get 24/7 costumer service! Ordered 2 tickets for an event. Didn't receive day before event on delivery date (mobile tickets). They issued me a refund only after I argued to get one. They couldn't give me tickets in same section because costs had gone up. So I purchased a single ticket in a different further away section. Yep- never got tickets, but they charged my account! Sat on phone waiting for an hour and a half At THE VENUE because they GUARANTEE tickets before event. Ended up getting an instant ticket through vivid tickets while sitting at venue entrance. Then add insult to injury- waited on phone over an hour the following day to get somebody to refund me. Will never use again! And I never write reviews, but want to warn future customers! Wish I had read reviews first!
I purchased tickets on Stubhub for a Saturday college football game. Got to the gate at event and checked my email and realized tickets were never sent. I was out of town for the event and had to purchase cash tickets at the event. When I got home called Stubhub Monday am and went through the troubleshooting process with them. Nothing worked and no tickets were ever found. Stubhub refused to refund because I didn't call before the event. Closed my account and will NEVER use Stubhub again.
Terrible company. Beware. Be prepared to lose any money you spend with them.
I bought 4 premium tickets to a Warriors game that didn't come through. After spending about 2 hours trying to get the tickets including 80 minutes with Stubhub customer service, they tried to get me replacement tickets, but those didn't arrive in time and they couldn't get me a parking pass, which I had paid $250 for. So, after a ruined evening, StubHub agreed to give me a refund. But, the refund that they gave me was only for $246. So, I had to call back and spend another 30 minutes explaining what happened to get the rest refunded. Beware of using this company. And, don't buy premium tickets. You could easily lose any money that you spend with this compay.
Bought Jays tickets off stubhub and not impressed to say the least! We were denied entry with our printed tickets :( It's Pillar Bobble head day an the bobble head was 5 feet away from me! Tickets were apparently duplicates... I thought this site was legit! Called stubhub and they found is other tickets (not 1st row though like our original tickets) but what sucks most is that we missed out on the Pillar bobble head... which is my husbands favourite player. We got here 3 hours early and no bobble head becuE of stubhub!
I ordered tickets from StubHub for a Friday night show and I never received them and they telling me that I can not receive a refund because they sent them to a guest account, but it was my actual account. I don't know what games they are playing, so now I'm going through the bank to get my money back. This is so confusing because it wasn't a problem getting the money. I also called numerous times and the same Rep answered the phone saying a different name. Girl I know your voice Crystal.

Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.

Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event. Answer: Some of these sellers do not own the actual tickets so they are buying time to get the tickets from someone else who can't attend the event and wants to sell their tickets.
